This was my first time going here. I would love to give a 5 star rating but not on this visit. The apple pie was great but the chicken was dry with no room to reheat. Maybe due to time in the warmer. I was looking for a dessert place near my friend's house and I found this absolute treasure! They have both sweet and savory pies but I was in a sweet pie mood so I ordered the Apple Crisp, which comes with pecans. I finished almost all of it as soon as I got in the car. This is worthy of 5 stars !!! I ordered a chicken pot pie yesterday and I could not wait to bite into it. First of all the crusts was so flaky it bought me back to my grandmothers pot pie. The filling was just right, made with all the fixins of a great chicken pot pie, chunky chicken breast, peas and carrots. The gravy was on point too , just enough to add flavor and substance . All the right ingredients that make you think and feel like you are in your grandma's kitchen on a cold winters day. I will be back. read more

Bought this Shepherds pot pie for takeout and I must say it's delicious! Like literally the crust is thin, buttery, and flaky. The filling is flavorful reminds me of home. Also its big enough for two servings so wear sweats lol. read more

This review is just for the peach cobbler. I've tried it a few times and haven't been impressed. The cobbler is more like a peach pie and isn't sweet enough. There's a nice cinnamon flavor but there's no vanilla, no butter, and not enough sugar. It's just not rich enough for me. I would like to try some of their other items but the peach cobbler isn't sufficient. read more

Just wanted to update that the banana bread pudding is delicious! It's not too sweet. The bananas are fresh and the bread/cookie inside is soft and fluffy. They're always out but when they are in stock I buy them all up. read more

Super friendly in the store in Windsor Hills (Inglewood, CA) and the food always seems to be readily available but tastes fresh. We tried the chicken pot pie, cherry pie and gumbo. Let me tell you OMG, it was all delicious. But holy cow the cherry pie stole the show!!! So perfectly flavored. It was warm and goey. I will definitely return for try their other stuff. Also don't forget to order rice with the gumbo because we forgot but it was still delicious. The vibe in their was also really mellow and inviting. DELICIOUS! I was in the area and stopped to pick up a couple of varieties of pot pie to bring home for dinner - chicken and veggie. They were both wonderful! I loved the veggie with the whole wheat crust. Absolutely delectable. I also tasted the chili and gumbo while I was there and loved each one. I expected more from this place since I saw a lot of good reviews. I ordered a chicken pot pie and I tried the chili. The employee took a room temperature pot pie from their glass display and put it in the microwave or mini oven to nuke it before handing it to me. The pot pies seem to be pre-made and when someone orders one, they just heat it up. The taste of the pot pie was bland and not flavorful. The chili had way too many beans (and I hate beans in my chili). The chili (what was left after I picked out all the beans) tasted fair. This was a place I always wanted to eat at so now that I have, it has been checked off the list and I won't be returning. read more

After hearing the rumors of amazing sweet and savory pies, we made the trek out to Windsor Hills and it DID NOT disappoint. We started with the Chicken Pot Pie and it was the perfect combination of flaky crust and warm chicken and vegetable goodness. It was tough to decide between the many AMAZING looking pies, but we settled on the Peach Crisp... and it was SPECTACULAR. The peaches were cooked to perfection... not too crispy or too soft. They were the perfect compliment to crumble crust.... I can't recommend it more! Do yourself a favor and try CRUSTEES as soon as possible. read more

OMG...I'm going to have to kill my Estheticians for recommending Crustees to me. It's soooooooo good, my thighs are rubbing together just thinking out it. My esthetician, Mae recommended it to me. Since I was literally across the street, I popped by with one of my friends. The young lady was so helpful, she let us sample the chili as well as the gumbo. The chili is almost as good as mine! My friend order the chili (in pie crust) and ordered the gumbo (sans rice). After tasting the chili, I ordered a 12 oz bowl for my son. The gumbo was good (some of the best I've had for a take-out spot). I also ordered the pecan sweet potato pie...it was just okay. It had a mousse texture as opposed to a rich sweet potato taste and texture. My advice...pass on the sweet tater pie; next time I'll order something else. So now I'm hungry, just thinking about Crustees Eatery, but I know that my diet can only withstand a quarterly visit. See you in October...if I can hold out that long! read more

The name says it all! The crusts on the sweet and savory pies are amazing. The crusts are crispy and buttery, and pair well with the filling. My fav is the chili cheese pot pie. We also tried the peach crisp, mixed berry cobbler, and strawberry rhubarb. Overall really tasty but some of the sweet pies for takeout seemed slightly undercooked so we're gonna pop them back into the oven. read more

Nice and cool the other day. Reminiscent of a winter day. Looking for something wholesome to eat that matched my mood of warmth substance and satisfaction. Was not let down at all by Crustees. I literally walked in the door, for the first time, just minutes before closing. Half way expecting to hear something like, we are closing, the kitchens already down...Somethin. Not at Crustees. I asked the gentleman manning the front whether I was able to still order and he affirmed with a zeal as if they had just opened. I smiled. Ordered a chicken pot pie and as I was PERUSING the menu I saw that they offered Peach Crisp pie, literally had not had one of those in years. Both pies were the deliciousness I was in search of for my dinner that evening. There was even a little heart in the middle of the pies. I am a loyal customer from this point on. The chicken pot pie was full of fresh chunks of chicken and flavorful vegetables. Not too much crust as well. The Peach Crisp was identical to the pot pie in substance flavor and taste. So grateful this delicious pie shop opened up in the neighborhood! My husband loves the chicken and beef pot pies, along with the mixed berry and peach pies. He says it's the perfect combination of flaky crust and mouthwatering fillings. And I just discovered something that makes Crustees even BETTER. I'm allergic to gluten, and over New Year's weekend, the owners made gluten free versions of their pies! I was able to have their chicken pot pie, and apple and mixed berry pies. All they needed was a few days notice. Everything was amazingly fresh and tasty and perfectly baked. One of the best gluten free crusts I've ever had! So I had to change my review based on my online paying experience. I got charged twice for something I never received they know that I didn't order two separate orders but charged me for it. It was not like they had crowd of people. My first order should have been canceled but you took 20 dollars from me and no food. Im really disappointed in this place. I won't be going back because you took my money and the pot pies were dry. Damn I wanted to have high hopes for this place cause it's in my neighborhood.
