Quick service and friendly staff. I had a double espresso and iced matcha with maple syrup and almond milk. The matcha tasted really good. The maple flavoring was kind of light but still good overall. I didn't try a pastry but they had some good selections. I'm here for a few days I will be back for my morning coffee.
I stopped by for a quick treat. I got the flat white and the oatmeal cranberry cookie to stay. It was nice sitting and enjoying the drink. The flat white was the right amount of bitter to go with the sweet cookies. The staff was very friendly and helped me get a table as it was a little full. The place was nice and clean and not too loud which was perfect.

This coffee spot was perfection. My coworkers and I ended up coming here daily while on our work trip because it was just that good! The coffee is strong, full of flavor and depth. My favorite was the maple latte. The fresh baked cookie was soft & tasty, must try if you're going to be stopping by. The baristas here are also friendly and quite quick! Just note that there's limited seating. Can't wait till I'm back!

Came by for coffee the other day and it was a decent experience. Culture Espresso is located on 38th between 8th and 9th. Ordering was quick at the counter and my latte was ready within minutes. There were a few seats to sit and people watch while hanging out. My latte was the perfect temperature and the espresso was smooth!
Iced maple latte with oat milk is where it's at! Also, arguably the best chocolate chip cookie in the city. I had one fresh out of the oven and it was perfection. Love this location too - went around 9am on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. So good.
Hands down the best CCC I've had. No notes. Crunchy round the edges, soft and gooey in the middle (none of that raw shit pretending to be soft though) and chewy all round. Honestly don't know what more you could ask for. Deep caramelised butter flavor with dark chocolate chips makes it not overly sweet/ indulgent. Perfect thickness. IG: Spillingthe.beans
I ordered the almond milk latte and the beans here have a slightly astringent taste, ever so slightly and I don't mind it at all as it gives the coffee a bit of depth. Warm and satisfying latte experience and I pretty much drank it in about 2 minutes. Their cookies look heavenly and they are freshly baked. I did not get one, but I'm still thinking about them. Casual. Great service. Please come and create your own adventure.

Baked goodness with a short menu that isn't overwhelming. When you do something right, you don't need an extensive menu. We tried the banana bread and the chocolate chip cookie. There's a reason why they won 1st place in the NYC chocolate chip cookie off with 40 bakers and 200 hundred judges in a blind taste test. Grabbed some goodies on the way over to Central Park for an afternoon of relaxation. Now I got to hit the gym it's totally worth it. read more
Needed a coffee while in the area so I found this place and decided to give it a try. It's a small little shop. I ordered an iced latte but got a cold brew. I didn't bother to correct them since either was fine. It was good cold brew with good flavor. Nothing really stood out. I got a cookie since the reviews all said they were great. But for $6.50 which is more the Levain, I thought it was just ok. I got the cranberry oatmeal which was ok. I wouldn't pay the price again though for this cookie. SYOY! read more
SO YUMMY! Stopped in here for a latte to go and was impressed with the perfectly brewed latte and grabbed an award winning cookie! I came in around 930AM on a Thursday and it was packed! There was a long line nearly going out of the shop, but they seemed to have a pretty efficient process down and it didn't take too long. Lots of people working. The latte was perfect and for 5.75 a bit on the cheaper side for manhattan especially in this touristy area! The chocolate chip cookie was great, very chocolate forward so don't forget a napkin. It is $6.50 for a cookie which I think is a bit steep, probably won't get it again. A lot of people were ordering the maple slushie coffee. I didn't work/ study here and probably wouldn't, it was pretty crowded and only had a few tables and small bar for seating. I will be coming back for coffee! read more

I decided to give this place a try after enjoying their cookies at Eeeeeatscon this weekend... However, when I arrive at this location the service feels dismissive: the cookie was not warmed (is this even an option?), and they even filled up our cups with a full cup of ice until we asked for lighter ice just in time... and the person rolled their eyes as they did it. The tall window I am sitting in front of is the only reason I am still here writing this caption... Anyways, I am unimpressed with the service here enough to not come back to this location... but am willing to give another location a chance in the distant future when I hopefully forget how mediocre this experience was. read more
Yes they serve coffee. Good coffee. But hands-down the BEST chocolate chip cookie in NYC! We tried a couple new cookies this time, Korn and black and white. All delicious but the chocolate chip is the best! That Korn cookie was unique and a very close second! read more
The most amazing chocolate cookies of my life. We also tried the corn cookie and an oatmeal which were good, but the CC cookie was the winner. Now I'm not saying I'd go to NYC just for that cookie but it's definitely on my "must stop here" list when in the area. Also great service, cute shop, limited seating and obviously smells amazing here. read more

I stopped by this small coffee shop when I was in the area this past Sat evening. I got a maple latte--the barista took the time to make one of those little designs on top, which was nice. Also liked the design on the cup, but the latte itself didn't taste much like maple. I also got a chocolate chip cookie & oatmeal cranberry cookie to go, and those were really delicious. read more

Finally got a chance to try the chocolate chip cookie and was very satisfied. Came in late in the day so the cookie has probably been sitting but it was still super soft inside and crispy on the inside. Believe the hype. read more

I'm not sure if this is the same one I went to (I went to West 36th street) BUT this place is lovely. Not much on the inside, open space, a long table and a few side tables for pairs to sit, but they've mastered (I'm assuming) the sweet and simple. Coffee and cookies seems to be their masterpiece. The cookies looked UNBELIEVABLE, we didn't get one as we were going to brunch after but took a photo because they looked that phat. I got a maple almond milk latte which was scrumptious, and my bf (a new coffee drinker) got an iced coffee with 1 cream 1 sugar and said he loved it. Cashier man was extremely nice, if I lived close by I'd be working from here once a week (if WiFi works, can't confirm). Rock on. read more
The barista here is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He makes a great espresso macchiato. No not the giant Starbucks sugared up macchiato the real traditional tiny macchiato with a small amount of milk in it. The flavor and presentation were perfect. The ambience and the service fantastic. read more

Culture Espresso is life. The coffee is incredible -- thoughtfully and beautifully made with deep, dark beans. The baristas are creative spirits with warm vibes. The space is welcoming. The chocolate chip cookies -- oh. my. They are kept warm for melting chocolate, perfectly crisped edges, chewy surround, and gooey centers. Do yourself a favor -- find a moment when the little round table closest to the espresso machine is free, settle in, watch the other people smart enough to patron this gem, and savor every flavor. read more

I think my life changed today because this is the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had. It was perfectly warm and crunchy and gooey. There was no line. The space inside is small but for a quick coffee or cookie (or both), can't really complain. We loved the cookie so much, we immediately got a second one. read more
