Let me start by saying I don't eat beef. I typically feel awful after eating it. That's said around 930 at night I had the biggest craving for a cheeseburger. And Culver's did not disappoint. Our food was hot and fresh thirty minutes before closing. My husband said they staff were friendly and efficient despite nearing closing time. Went to drive thru. Ordered tenderloin basket, pickles and mayonnaise only on the sandwich. Got to eagle creek park to have lunch with friends and found that they had put one pickle and mustard on the sandwich. Thank goodness I checked as mustard makes me very ill. Since I paid to get in to the be park, was not going to leave to take it back so had to throw the sandwich away. Get your act together Culver's!!!!! read more

The burgers are by far the best I have ever had. The custard is what keeps you coming back for more. Its not like Diary Queen it has its own wonderful uniqueness that just makes it taste soooo good. Also the service is really good and the best thing is you can order your frozen custard chill and when you are leaving or ready for it at the table they will bring it to you instead of it sitting there and melting while you are eating...Awesome read more

Food was alright as it usually is, but all employees had masks "on" but almost all were wearing them in their necks, with no mouths or noses covered, even the manager. Out of the 9 employees I saw, 2 had masks on correctly. read more

I purchased food and paid with a $20.00 bill and exact change. I should have received $12.00 back. When I got home, and after a thorough search of my purse, I realized I hadn't gotten my change back. I drove 20 minutes to the establishment the next day at approximately the same time. Long story short, the assistant manager called the off-duty manager/owner, who said she would look at the security tape the next day and then phone me. I never received that phone call. That indicates lack of integrity and poor customer relations to me. I would have liked to get my $12.00 back, or at least some coupons or something, but to not have the common courtesy to call when she said she would isn't acceptable. read more

Treated myself to dinner. This is my 1st time trying the sourdough melt. It was cooked to perfection with the Wisconsin cheese and sauteed onions. My only suggestion would be a little more seasoning. Culver's is usually pretty reliable but this location totally ruined my burger. I ordered a very simple bacon burger with ketchup, mustard and lettuce in the drive through. When I got home and glanced at the burger it looked correct. But when I took my second bite, I knew it was anything but. I could taste tomato, which wasn't a huge deal as it's easy to remove. But to my surprise there were onions, and a very generous healing of mayo. I LOATHE mayo!! As the only option for redemption of a drive through dinner gone astray would be to go back, this entire experience was a complete waste of my time. read more

Stopped in for a chocolate malt last night. Yow. For a spot that supposedly specializes in ice cream (or frozen custard, as this technically may be) this was one terrible chocolate malt. Almost no flavor (chocolate or vanilla), cloyingly sweet, with a fake-thick consistency of chemically stabilized frozen product, and the malt powder was still granular, not dissolved. Almost $4.50 for 16 oz and it wasn't even good enough for me to finish, despite the heat and desire. If you have an ice cream craving, you're better off with a Wendy's Frosty and you'll pay a lot less. And that ain't saying much. read more

I got my face painted like a dead zombie here on children's night. It was a lovely fun filled time. But the food was so greasy that I had to throw it out my window on the way home and call out of work the next day because I felt so sick. I was too sick to shower and wash of the face paint so my head was stained red. read more

The staff at this location is as friendly as it gets! I've been here a few times over the last year or so and I'm always greeted as soon as I walk in the door. As for the food, it is good Culver's quality. It takes longer than a typical fast food joint but much better than you get from those chains. read more

This place is consistent. Consistently bad. Their "service" is horrible. I waited ten minutes in NO LINE before someone came to take my order. Everyone was so obsessed with waiting for their previous order's food to come up that they could not do anything else. It was a joke. All I wanted was a couple of scoops of ice cream to go, but the drive thru line was long. I should have figured out why. Everyone is running around busy, but getting nothing accomplished. Eh. It's ok. It's one of those bizarre places in some kind of murky limbo between fast food and diner. I don't see any motivation to come here over any other burger joint, though, unless it's for the ice cream--which, mind you, isn't really any better than any other place. There are a lot of options for said ice cream, which is admittedly a wonderful thing. Still, I don't really see any difference between Culver's and, say, Dairy Queen. I think I am a chill customer, it takes a lot for me to say something or not give a good rating......well here is one.. Went to this location to get my Culvers fix on. I was 2nd in line to order a simple burger and fries. After completing my order.....I waited......waited............watched customer 3,4,5 get there order before me......and finally order received several minutes past expectations. Now understand if the place is packed I understand I am going to wait, but when you watch meals past above you it's unacceptable. But on a good point the burger was hot and my fix was fixed. My husband and I moved to Indy from Los Angeles. We had seen commercials about Culver's and decided to try it. The service was horrible. They cook to order which is good but while waiting for our order, the food kept coming to us piece by piece(???). When I got home, we found that our order was incomplete, we had no utensils nor condiments and was missing food. I called back and someone who said she was the closing mgr swore that everything was in the bag because she had bagged our order. Feeling insulted but for her sake I checked again while she was on the phone... incomplete order. She then apologized and said "well, all I can do is mail you a coupon". Her attitude was not nice and neither did we take the coupon offer. Food was pricey and just "OKAY". We will never return. read more

The best burger for chain fast food restaurant. My family love going here for 1) best taste and well prepared food 2)reasonable price (though it is slightly more expensive than eating out at Wendy's or McDonald's) 3) friendly service. My favorite is breaded pork tenderloin sandwich. I always eat it with hot sauce and mayonaise. It is delicious. Their kid's menu is comparable to the menu at a regular restaurant, in terms of price and quality. They offer chicken tender, grilled cheese, burger and few more...They taste great. For $4.49, the meal comes with french fries, drink and free 1 scoop custard - which is an incentive for my kids to eat their food first if they want to get a custard. They have a variety of flavor for frozen custard and shakes. Try their flavor of the day - if you cannot decide. I am not a big fan of french fries, but I think their french fries has the best taste. Salad is available on their menu too, if you do not feel like eating burger. We always enjoy our meal everytime we go here. Great food overall. read more

Short and sweet since our order at Culvers was short and sweet. Service excellent and only ordered 2 concrete mixers today. Nice selection for the concrete mixers of fresh fruit, candies, and syrups mixed into frozen custard. They were delicious and my first. Stopped by the Culver's on 71st street last night with multiple other families around 7:00 PM to treat the kids to some ice cream after our ball games. The lady taking our order told us they were very busy and it would be 30 minutes before they could get our food. I told her no problem that we were just there for ice cream. In a very nasty tone she told us it would still take 30 to get ice cream. The ice cream dispenser was not being used at that time, and there was plenty staff present at this time. I have no idea what her problem was but I said Bye Felicia and we all took our business elsewhere. If the owner was there I'm sure he/she would have lost there minds if they heard how their staff was treating their potential customers! Ridiculous to act like that but especially when it was for the kids!! Will not go back to this Culvers, and I can assure you we have been there several times over the years while playing ball in the area. Stopped by this Culver's for a concrete mixer and a butter burger. We dined in and the environment was great and consistent with most Culver's. The butter burger is by far my favorite and is their signature burger. The burger is always fresh and full of flavor. The fries were nice and crisp and seasoned just right. The concrete mixer is similar to a blizzard but 10 times better. I would recommend you try it especially if you can spare the additional calories. This is a great family atmosphere. read more

Good restaurant. Love the ice cream. Don't expect to check in and use any of the promotions though. I checked in and got 1 free scoop of custard and the manager said I couldn't use it because it didn't have the Culvers logo on it. Other than that, no complaints from this place. read more

Our family has generally had good experiences with Culver's, but this particular location was not up to par. The lady at the register was nice, but not very knowledgeable about the menu. It took more than 10 minutes to get our food which was strange as there were only 3 other tables occupied in the dining room. The soda fountain and condiment area was a mess with spilled soda, and trash on the counter top and floor. When we got our meal, there were items missing from our order and we had to go up to the counter to get the rest of it. I go here quite often for lunch since I work in the area and every time before today I've had a very pleasant visit & my food was prepared as I'd ordered it and everything was great. Today, I ordered a spicy crispy chicken sandwich with a small fry & a build your own custard since my work day wasn't going so well. I came into the restaurant and ordered my food to go. When they gave me my custard, I noticed everything was mixed in instead of just custard & toppings. No big deal, I told them it was made wrong and they corrected it. The girl who made it had an attitude about it, but I didn't have time to address that so whatever. My food is given to me and without checking my bag, because I shouldn't have to in my opinion, I just went to my car & left. When I get to my desk to eat my lunch I realize they never gave me my fries. Irritated, and still thinking about that girl with the attitude who made my custard, I called and made a complaint because I really wanted those fries. The manager Regina just didn't sound too apologetic about anything I complaining about and literally asked "well what do you want me to do" and asked for my name to be written down so I could come back and get another meal. That's cool and all, but this level of service from Culver's is unacceptable. You should've been way more apologetic than "well what do you want". It doesn't take much for me to get turned off by a food restaurant, so this will be my last time ever going to this location. They can keep that "free meal", they just should've got it right the first time especially when you're paying $11+ for it! read more

This rating is not as much about Culver's the restaurant, but more specifically this location. I have been here many times since the restaurant opened. But over the past year quality of food and service has dropped off dramatically. I come for the freshly prepared juicy butter burgers. But lately I've have a poor experience overall customer service and burgers has been of the quality of Rally's/Checkers cold burgers cheese not melted the burgers sliding apart. Just really subpar from the Culver's of old. I'm from Wisconsin and frequented the Culver's there. With the exception of 1 time I always had a great experience which is the reason that I was so excited when they opened here. Felt like a piece of home was here. A staff member approached as I was writing this and offered to correct the problem. For this reason I will give them 1 last shot hopefully things get back to the way they were here before. read more

6/14:2017 visited this place for after dinner ice cream. Was welcomed by Ben with a smile and quick service on placing the order. Then proceeded to wait 10 minutes to 2 dipped ice cream cones. There were 4 employees laughing and just standing around and in the back I heard more just laughing and carrying on. Finally one started only to find out he had no waffle cones. First time at the drive-thru tonite @ 6:30. Order guy was knowledgeable, friendly and offered suggestions for sides and burger choices. Runner was pleasant and brought my order within 3 minutes. However, the food was very disappointing. The burgers were inedible because of the strong tasting grill. Burgers were over-cooked. They were huge and had ample lettuce, tomato and onions. The fries were the usual, frozen crinkle type - not salted. Boring. The onion rings were awful. The batter was not thick and crunchy as with most onion rings. We also had a tossed salad - which was surprisingly HUGE, but old and limp - plenty for the 2 of us and for lunch leftovers. I ate inside a couple of summers ago and the counter service was awful - from ignoring employees and sloooooow. So, I was hesitant to get take-out tonite. Pretty disappointing. I waited several minutes at the counter as the only customer in line while 2 girls stood at separate registers while looking at me but not speaking then after asking if anybody is going to speak to me they continued in silence until one girl finally relented and said I guess I will. Took my order with much trouble getting it correct. When my order arrived there was a serving of mashed potatoes in the tray that I hadn't ordered. With all the trouble taking my order I figured I paid for but didn't check the receipt that was underneath my plate at I knew they couldn't serve them and I didn't care to eat them. Shortly thereafter a different girl believed to be the manager or shift leader with a white shirt walked up and asked if those were my mashed potatoes to which I replied no I didn't order any. She reached over picked up my plate took my receipt and scolded me that I didn't pay for the potatoes so they belonged to someone else and she was going to take them. I asked her to make sure she wasn't going to serve them to someone else. She said no but I didn't oh for them so they weren't mine and she proceeded to throw them away. A few minutes later another female employee walked around asking if anyone was a free Oreo shake that they had make extra. I felt very violated by this entire situation and will never return to this restaurant. read more
