First time ever at a Culver's. This location was super clean. Even in the rush hour, every empty table was wiped down and there was no trash laying around. I ordered the double butter burger with bacon and cheese. The patties were more like a smash burger, but all ingredients tasted super fresh and had good flavor. I also tried their crinkle fries. Crispy outside and warm and soft inside. If you are looking for a quick fast food bite but fresh ingredients and good flavor, I would give Culver's a try. read more

We loved Culver's!!! I don't usually eat fast food burgers, but I figured I had to try one at Culver's, and I'm glad I did. I had the Wisconsin Melt on Rye - yum!!! It was basically a patty melt - one of my all-time favorite sandwiches. The burger patty was delish and so much better than Mickey D's, Burger King, etc. My husband had a classic deluxe or something like that with two patties, and he enjoyed it. Their custard is soooo good! I got a mini vanilla sundae with butter cake and cookie dough. Both toppings were delicious! The butter cake was so fresh and yummy and the cookie dough was chunky and wasn't covered in the weird powder, it tasted very fresh. The fries were hot, fresh, and crispy. I wish we had Culver's in California! I live on the west coast & look forward to frozen custard when I visit WI. Is there a new owner of the Oconomowoc Culver's? The quality has plummeted from last year. I bought a pint of custard from the freezer & one from the counter. Though they were flavors of the day they were essentially vanilla custard with less than a tablespoon of mix-ins. This Oconomowoc location is where I had my first Culver's ButterBurger experience. Before that I was just a young and innocent ButterBurger virgin. Now I can handle the double and even a triple with Bacon. Although my belt sometimes needs a bit of loosening first. Came up to visit my Dad and family and this is always a nice and inexpensive treat. Usually get one of the Burgers and a side of Onion Rings. They have a rather large menu with all sorts of goodies that everyone can enjoy. Don't forget to finish off your meal with some of their spectacular Frozen Custard. What is fun is getting a mix of both chocolate and vanilla in the same bowl. They even have cones if you prefer to lick. The Custard of the Day is usually something totally crazy and worth checking out as well. This location is not as big as some of there other ones and the high school is right next door. Pretty much every Culver's is Meh... Pretty much no seasoning on the burgers, all tenderness and juiciness is pressed out of meat, rendering the burgers simply fair. Other dish are equally OK. The chili is good. The custard is of course good enough, but can't touch some of the local favorites like Kilte, Le Dukes, and Copp's which are all just plainly better interns of Custard Burger places. Staff and teams are always nice. These restaurants are always very clean and that alone makes dining very nice as you know the experience will be pleasant. We've frequented this Culvers often in the 10 years we've lived in town. The quality is just going downhill fast. The burgers are dry and have no seasoning. For the flavor of the day, there is barely any mix ins inside. I just tried their Kit Kat Swirl the other day. 2 pieces of Kit Kat in the whole scoop. What's the point? My gluten allergy was not taken seriously - my burger strewn helplessly under the plastic wrapping of my bun. Yes some are polite but most( especially the drive thru) don't even bother to say hello, tell you your total, and don't even tell you to pull forward they just hand you your number and slam the window closed. The morning after our wedding, we stopped in here for some deep fried cheese curds (side note, WHY don't we have these in LA?) and split a butter burger. Out in the area and stopped in for a lunch. Staff was friendly but the person who took my order didn't listen very well, I was charged for things I didn't order (drinks) and then he pretended as if he didn't know how to fix it. This is the WORST service I have ever experienced. Here is all what went wrong -no bottled water when it was asked for -no fries and the workers complained about giving them to us -failed to give us drink when asked for -bland ass fries - was complaining about having to fix the mistakes that they made -couldn't give us sauces because they are blind and couldn't read the receipt -staff complains that we keep going too much because they messed up our orders wayy too many times -no paper towels in the bathroom and they stink stank stunk -seats cushions were falling off and sticky I am really disappointed that a fast food place with nobody in here would have such a hard time trying to figure out how to do their job. It's baffling that the workers here would feel that they have the audacity to need to complain about having to do their job and how they are so upset that we are just trying to get the food we ordered. I used to come here all the time as a child and it was always the highlight of my life as a kid. I was coming here today to celebrate my friend's birthday and the terrible staff and service ruined the whole experience for my friends and I. I am really frustrated with how the staff has been treating us all night. The oconomowoc Culver's is the worst service and just keeps getting worse as times goes on. We have came here once a week for the past 2 years. Never had an issue. Tonight we came in and ordered, no problem. Went to get soda and the machine had no carbonation so the sodas were flat. Asked the guy about the machine and he said he would work on that. Didn't get a soda. Sat down and waited for food, decent wait time. Got our food: we were missing an order of fries (never got charged for what we ordered), someone's burger was wrong. Went back and ordered a new burger and she called it back wrong so we got it fixed. Got the second order of fries, they were fine. Talked to the manager and got 2 free coupons for value baskets and a flat soda. Didn't get a refund for anything. Definitely do not recommend coming here on a Sunday night. read more

We live near here and eat here relatively often but I'm not sure we would if our kids didn't push for it. The food is OK, not bad but not something to stand up and cheer about. The orders are often right but sometimes wrong or slow. The atmosphere is friendly and our kids often see their friends here so it has a nice vibe. Definitely avoid this location during peak hours. Came here on my lunch break and first noticed the parking lot is far too small for the drive thru line that piles up, had to sit and wait in the line of cars for almost 10min before actually being able to maneuver around and park in a spot. Decided to mask up and go in to order instead of waiting in the train of cars. However, this was a mistake. They are far too understaffed to handle the rushes without messing up so many orders. in total it took me a half hour to get my meal, and I had to go up to the counter and basically beg them to make it since people who ordered AFTER me (families waiting on multiple meals vs my single kids meal) were all getting their meals. No one even apologized or took blame for my order being completely forgotten. Disappointed and will be ordering from other locations, I'd rather drive farther and get what I ordered than get dicked around another time here by high schoolers who don't care about the job anyways read more
