This was the first time I ever visited Culver's, and I wasn't sure what they were known for, so I asked the cashier for some guidance. She mentioned they're known for their burgers, and compared them to In-N-Out, which, being from California, I'll say I'm quite biased, and I don't think anything quite compares to In-N-Out in my book. But that's just my opinion! I was a bit intimidated by the drive-thru line, but I decided to go inside to order instead. It was a long line, but I was amazed at how efficient their process is it flows very well and didn't take long at all! I went with a burger, and I have to say, it was delicious the patty was juicy, and the flavor was on point. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I'd like a bit more onion next time, but that's just a personal preference. The bread was a little thicker than I usually go for, but it had great flavor. As for the crinkle fries, they're not really my thing, so I won't be getting those again. But overall, I had a solid experience, and I'll definitely be back to give Culver's another shot! read more

I have never been a big Culver's fan, usually giving the win to Chick-fil-A or Popeyes. That changed at this location. The food was fantastic. The spicy chicken sandwich was juicy, rich, and had the perfect kick of spice. The fries were golden and cooked just right. Went on a Friday evening and it was super busy. However, the Culver team was ready and waiting for the entire town to come by. They were so professional and efficient. I probably visit Culver's twice a month, mid afternoon, when they offer my two favorite custard flavors: chocolate-covered strawberries or strawberry parfait. Both are vanilla based. I will also have a crispy (fried) chicken basket. It's a filling meal and it's always made-to-order . And if I come here after a hike with my dog, I order a pup cup and sit on the patio. Customer service is always tops here. You are greeted when you walk in, you are thanked for your order "With pleasure!" and they are quick to take away your empty food tray, always with a smile. You are never rushed to leave even when it gets crowded. Bill, one of the original employees since this place opened in March 2015, always keeps the dining area clean even during rush hours. He may also deliver your order for you. While I tend to stick with crispy chicken sandwiches, their soups and chili are tasty, too. My husband like the butter burger and a friend raves about the cod dinner. I also like their dense mixer shakes. There are several muted tvs on the wall showing sports. We almost never eat at fast food restaurants. After our experience at your restaurant in Sierra Vista, Az, we are reminded why we don't. We went for the two piece fish dinners. What a waste of $30+ without any drinks. The fish we had was tasteless with a bad batter and was over cooked. The prepackaged tarter sauce was lame and did not improve the taste. It came with a pathetic little roll and a tiny pad of butter spread. The coleslaw was at best just OK. Then there were the fried cheese curds. We travel to Wisconsin regularly and are well acquainted with both fried and raw cheese curds. The ones we were served were clearly the WORST we have ever had. Rock hard batter and no taste at all. They were so bad we threw 2/3's of them in the trash. If our experience is typical of Culver's, we wonder how they stay in business. read more

My parents were taking care of our mongrels while we played in the UK for two weeks, so we told them to pick their favorite restaurant, as we wanted to take them out for dinner. Just one token of appreciation for making sure our beagles were well loved while we were away. My husband and I had expected them to pick a sit-down restaurant, something with a large menu and alcohol as an option. Imagine our surprise when we parked next to them in the Culver's parking lot. "We were thinking high-class", we thought, as we walked across the restaurant's drive-thru lane. "Mom said something about liver and onions, and adult beverages," I commented, as we stood in line waiting for the next available register to open up. Still, this was their decision, so we rolled with it. My parents and my aunt all ordered ahead of us, a mix of fish and chips and burgers. My husband got the Cheddar Butterburger with Bacon (say that five times fast!), and I got the smaller version of that same burger. He upgraded to the cheese curds as a side, and I ordered a peanut butter chocolate milkshake for us "to share". We paid for the meal (decent as far as "thank you" dinners go, a bit high for a fast food restaurant), grabbed our number, and found a large round table to sit at while waiting for our food to be brought to us. I will admit, I enjoyed my burger. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the meat and the sauces they used on the sandwich. The crinkle-cut fries were good, and the milkshake definitely hit the spot. And apparently, they brew their own root beer soda, which was a nice bonus. My husband wasn't as blown away by their burgers as I was, but that's his deal. He's kind of a burger snob when you get right down to it, so I try not to dwell on his feedback. All I know is that everybody else at the table really enjoyed their food (not to say that my hubs didn't like it - he certainly powered down everything that was put in front of him - but it wasn't his favorite burger, according to him.) I told my parents I wanted to go back when we returned from our vacation, but we ended up hitting other restaurants for our meals, instead.
