Granted, we had not put a down payment or a deposit down, so to be fair we had not officially "saved" it and 2 weeks had passed since we were last at the dealership. However, I had personally spoke to Basil Mirou, Sales Manager quite a few times in those 2 weeks asking about the car (that was still on the lot) and the logistics surrounding our situation in those 2 weeks. I left several messages for Johnny as well letting them know we are coming to buy the car and to call me back.. no call back to date) Even AFTER they "sold" the car, he claimed more would arrive and tried to sell us a different color, claiming now it was more $$ because it was "premier" color and highly sought after. If I didn't call back to ask if any new cars came in, I would have never received a call back. I even flat out asked Basil on his PERSONAL cell phone if he even wants my business! Because I can easily go elsewhere! TO DATE.. Basil was to call me back with new inventory he was checking on (a week ago) and have yet to receive a call back! Do NOT entertain this dealership at all! That being said, I have no complaint about the final pricing. The business office, as always, takes a while to complete all the paperwork, but at no time was I pressured to buy any add-on coverages or warranties; they were presented to me and easily declined. I financed a small part of the purchase, and they beat the preapproved rate from my bank. The car had two issues that needed to be addressed at a Mercedes dealer. Jidd was very proactive in contacting Mercedes to ensure there would be no issues and also reached out the next day, offering to assist me with scheduling the service. (I had already scheduled it with my local dealer, but was impressed with their checking in and being willing to set up the service visit for me if needed.) I have no reservations about recommending Jidd Motors to anyone looking for a quality used car.

I reminded them that she paid cash for it and there is no loan. They would not give me a price over the phone. They said I had to bring it in so they can inspect the undercarriage for damage. I brought the car in for the appraisal inspection and a salesperson only looked at the odometer, never looked under the carriage, and made me sit for almost 1/2 hour. Another salesperson / appraiser (who never looked at the car) told me that the value has declined so much in the last few years and the highest price that they could offer me was $12,500. I walked out knowing that it is is like new and valued around $24,000. I received a quote to purchase it (online) from Carmax for $17,500 and Carvana for $20,000. I sold it to Carvana. I wasted 2 hours of my time bringing it in person for something that they could have told me over the phone. JIDD Motors lied to me, seemed dishonest, and I will never buy a vehicle from this place.

I then called and spoke with Irfan Khan, who repeatedly gave me incorrect information about the car I was interested in. I had to remind him several times that he was discussing the wrong car. He also did not seem to know how the purchase process worked at his own dealership. I requested a buyer's order, which I needed for my loan, but was told they could not provide one. Later, the manager, Jabari Goodman, called me and apologized, explaining that his coworker was new. They told me to begin the purchase process online, which I did. I finalized the online purchase, submitted all requested documents, and received a notification stating that they would email me the contract for digital signing. After two days of silence, I followed up by phone, but they seemed unaware that I had submitted anything. There were several instances where I thought: Do they not want to sell their car? They then told me I should send them a copy of the cashier's check from my bank. After several days of messaging back and forth, I finally received the buyer's order needed to obtain final loan approval. Just as I had arranged travels preparing to pick up the car the next day and was sending the cashier's check to the dealership, they messaged me to say that they had sold it. I understand that they do not hold cars. However, after several days of communication and my clearly demonstrated intent to purchase the vehicle, telling them, I am at the bank right now getting what they requested, I would have expected at least a phone call informing me that another potential buyer was at the dealership. Especially since they knew I was in the process of finalizing the deal.

A YEAR OF PURE THE HELL I am writing to bring to your urgent attention the ongoing issues I have encountered with the 2015 Infiniti QX80 purchased from SJL Motors on March 2, 2024. I picked up the vehicle on March 13, 2024, and almost immediately began experiencing several problems that have yet to be resolved. Initially, I noticed that both side mirrors were malfunctioning, jerking and making noise due to worn motors. Additionally, the driver's seat was off-track, causing it to lean and make noise when the vehicle was started. Shortly after leaving the dealership and driving for less than two hours, the check engine light illuminated, and the vehicle began to drive roughly, lagging and failing to shift gears properly. Despite pressing the accelerator to the floor, the car would not exceed 60-80 mph. I promptly took the vehicle to the nearest shop, where I was informed that the engine was misfiring in cylinder 5, with multiple cylinder misfires, and an injector circuit issue in cylinder 5 (please see the attached picture for reference). After contacting the dealership, I was instructed to bring the vehicle to Fuzzy Tire Center the following morning. I took time off work and extended my stay to ensure the vehicle could be repaired. Despite driving two hours to be there by 8 AM, and the mechanic's attempt to fix the issue, the engine light came on again as I left the dealership. Upon returning, I was instructed by Tydis to refuel the vehicle and have the mechanic repair it, regardless of the cost. However, the necessary parts would take 3-4 days to arrive, and I could not stay longer due to work commitments and prior engagements. On my way home, with approximately 2 hours remaining in my 7-hour journey, the engine light returned, and the vehicle once again began lagging and failing to accelerate. I immediately informed Tydis and Nelson of the continued issues. Tydis advised me to take the vehicle to an Infiniti dealership for proper repair, stating that SJL Motors would cover the expenses. Infiniti began the diagnostic process on March 18, 2024, and I picked up the vehicle on March 22, 2024. However, the dealership declined to cover the repair costs due to the expense involved. Since then, I have made numerous attempts to contact Tydis and the dealership via phone and text, but my calls and messages have gone unanswered. UPDATE: On April 2, 2024, I took the vehicle to another repair shop for the same issues. Most recently once the extended warranty became active, I had the vehicle taken to C.A.R.S Auto Repair, where it remained for almost a month. Despite their efforts, the engine light returned the same day I picked up the car, requiring me to return it for another week. After picking it up again, the engine light returned, and I was advised to take the vehicle back to Infiniti. Upon doing so, I was informed that the necessary harness for repair has been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase. The car still at this time is unusable/undrivable. When I contacted your dealership and requested to speak with the owner, I was denied and instead spoke with Nelson. I asked for a solution to remedy this ongoing issue or to return the car, but Nelson was rude, unhelpful, and ultimately hung up on me. Given that I have only had this vehicle for a few months, I urgently need your assistance to resolve this matter. As a customer, I believe I deserve better communication and service. I am requesting that SJL Motors address this situation promptly to avoid any further inconvenience. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss a resolution. Update: Vehicle had to be towed to a repair shop on September 11, 2024, and vehicle is still at the shop. Please reach out so that we can find a remedy to this situation. The vehicle was picked in the middle of March and has been in and out of auto repair shops since the day of pick up! Update: Car has been in the shop more times and longer times since we purchased car. Car has been deemed unsafe because how rusty the undercarriage and structural frame of the vehicle.
