I hate giving a low rating but I was terribly disappointed. I was hoping to enjoy since I love Korean food so much. I got the fried chicken bowl. It was all fried dough, no chicken. Really odd. It was almost as if I got the leftovers at the bottom of the pan? The number 5 Spicy sauce tasted all like Mayo and no spice at all. Left the noodles tasting greasy. Long lines, slow, and pricey. What's not to love Korean BBQ in a cup my recommendation is ask for all the sauces a little of each makes it go great. Portion size is a little small for those price but still worth it and better than a $60 Korean BBQ meal at mana's nearby. Food had the right flavors but not balanced enough it was drowning to the point where it didn't matter what was in the bowl. Staff was terrible aside from one dude who went in the break room to never be seen again and it must be a HUGE break room because there were about 6 staff members popping in and out but you only see 1 at a time and to echo some of the other reviews posted YES people were clocking in and immediately getting to work without washing hands but everyone was ok except the girl that looked like Justin Bieber if you want to try it and she is working don't eat there that day because it will heavily affect your opinion. Inside is pretty unkempt and lazy it feels like there was originally more but they toned it down. The only place in west gate than this beats is Johnny rockets, which is pretty bad I might try again in a couple of years read more

I have been here a few times and loved it. But today my experience was absolutely disgusting! First of all, the woman's restroom was closed so you had to use the mens, the seat was covered in pee, there was trash everywhere I couldn't even go. Hair was found in the food, which isn't surprising considering the kids that work there all have their hair down and in their face. There was no manager on shift to even raise concerns to and I wasn't even able to get my money back for the hair found in the food. The girl simply said "sorry the guy back there won't put his hair back". I will never come back here! read more

I have been hearing a lot of hype about Cupbop through friends and family and I have heard different feelings about it so I finally checked this place out for myself and I was not disappointed. For a first timer it was a little confusing but I fortunately had Chloe walk me through the menu and show me how it's done. I got the bulgolgi with fried chicken with a side of fried dumpling and kimchi and it was absolutely amazing. The best part is all that cost much less than I anticipated I would give this place 4 stars but the hospitality and patience that Chloe provided really takes this place to 5 star. I think what is great about cupbop is there's not many similar places. I love that they're spice scale has such range. I do think they're meats are all kinda meh though. The sauce is delicious but the meat is always disappointing. I get mine with double rice because I don't enjoy the thin noodles. I'd definitely try this place if you haven't but it's not a regular place for me. read more

I love this place but they are ALWAYS out of everything. I've came here about 5 times & I've only had a smooth experience once. The second time I came, they closed 2 hrs early, the employee told me "for no reason," the 3rd time they were out of noodles & the 4th time they were out of rice. & today, I got told they were out of beef, kimchi, rice, noodles & these were the only drinks available, mind you the sweet tea was water. The poor guys at the store didn't have lids for the cups and were using plastic wrap, and ran out of chicken. The food concept was a great idea but the food just wasn't good and it didn't look very appetizing- like giant mishmash. We didn't get any utensils so we couldn't eat it until we got home even though we wanted to go to the park and enjoy the day. What a let down. Cute idea though. Poor execution. read more

We are regulars at the Cupbop at the Tucson location, so we expected this location to be just as great!... unfortunately it wasn't. Food was half and half- and I say that because I got the ugly bop and my kids did as well-my husband was supposed to get it too but they said it would be another 10min for the chicken since they gave the last of it to me. Little did I know- the chicken they did give me must have sat there for a while as it tasted like my leftovers. I didn't mind too much as it still was good. Anywho- I specifically asked for my kids to have no sauce on their meal. They gave me sauce anyway. I went back to the counter to let them know of the error- but the guy just took the bowl and didn't say anything. I was totally gonna order KimChee as well- but he seemed upset so I didn't even bother. After we ate- I did realize I never got my punchcard back so I went back to the counter and asked if it was left and the guy had it right in front of him- not punched, had to ask- and he just seemed like I was asking for too much. He punched it 2x- I had 3 orders but cool- whatever not gonna make a big deal. But man- this location, food- eh okay, but customer service was just non existent. read more

The first time I tried to go here the door was locked in my face 15 minutes before the scheduled closing.. This was more disappointing after finding out all the food is precooked and sitting on the line in warmers after returning to give it a try a few days later.... The staff while ready to serve was quick to greet us; but to my disappointment was less than prepared to explain the food choices.. after guessing what to order, (mainly because the options are covered and not on display.. Surprise!!, this is what you've ordered..) Guess we should have studied the menu before arriving.. as it turns out, the options are limited, very limited.. the same 6 or seven items prepared make up all the food options Just with one or two of the items switched.. We chose to eat at home (ordered to go) , once home we tore into the packaging and soon was... underwhelmed.. the beef was tough.. spicy chicken had decent spice.. and well.. we wish we had chosen fired pie! I tried to eat my way through it but my wife opted for her own cooking.. the soup.. she chose soup.. enough said.. oh I guess i should add that we went in the evening again.. if you're going to try this place.. maybe it's better in the mourning.... read more

I used to like going here, but in the last 6 months this place has gone down hill. Prices were $8-10 when they first opened last August. You used to get a decent amount of food in your bowl for the price you paid, not now. The bowls have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up to $9.50-12. The last couple of times I've eaten, the food seems to be greasy and the service is hit or miss. read more
