    Tofu cupbob

I worked up an appetite after getting my nails done, so I was glad to see Cupbob was just a couple doors down. Fortunately for me, Cupbob is a fast casual restaurant with vegetarian options. The lone staff member greeted me upon entering. The space is bright, open, and offers ample seating. The staff walked me through the process and my options since it was my first time. I decided on a tofu cupbob which comes with a bowl of noodles, rice, and vegetables. The tofu portion was generous which I appreciated. The cupbob was tasty and exactly what I needed at the time. However, if I was more hungry, I think I'd need two cupbobs to fill me up!

You can see more bowl than food. They normally to fill these up

Worst cup bop of them all. I eat at all the locations pretty regularly , this is by far the worst, order pick up times always off. Quantity of food inconsistent with other locations . Don't use their bogo promotion you'll just get 1 order split into 2 cups . Going to stop ordering from This location. Completely

Brody was amazing, explained everything well and made sure I liked my spice level. Will definitely be back. The bowl was also a perfect portion size and meat was cooked well.

I have been hearing lots of hype for CupBop, so I decided to stop in for a quick and easy dinner. CupBop has a pretty unique concept, similar to that of a Chipotle or Subway. Choose your base menu item and customize it (sauce, spice level, noodles or rice, etc). Basically, it's a pricier Korean version of Panda Express. I ordered the Rock Bop (fried chicken bowl) with noodles, rice, and a spicy level of 4 sauce (1 being mildest, 10 being hottest). I thought my bowl was pretty good, but a bit pricey. The chicken and sauce were super flavorful but the portion of chicken was slim pickings and the rest of the bowl is basically sauceless noodles and really dry white rice. Next time I would ask for no white rice and more sauce. Overall, it's a cute concept but nothing worth trying more than once or twice.

It was pretty good. Mango drink tasty. Food was ok. Wish you could add the veggies online as a sub for rice or noodles. Good service.

I've come here twice in the last month and both times the food has been unbelievably delicious. The…read moreway their baked potato with brisket has captured me body and soul is ridiculous. I don't think I've been so obsessed with a food item until now. Just thinking about it now has mouth is watering. The first time I visited was on July 4th, we got there right at opening and the line of service they have going was a well oiled machine. Their setup is a walk in, get in line and order almost similar to Subway, but better tasting. I got a side of Mac and cheese and cornbread (not pictured, I ate it too fast). It's self seating and they had a ton of options! The second time I visited I ordered at the to go window and got the baked potato again. The window service was fast and the wait wasn't long. They packaged up my food safely and I happily went on my way. I'm honestly looking forward to my next baked potato encounter at this location! Please give them a try, it's so stupidly good here. I can't wait to give their root beer float a try.

Joe's Real BBQ is pretty real, I'll give them that. I stopped by on a Sunday evening for dinner…read more Located in downtown Gilbert, they have a complimentary lot behind the restaurant. If you can't find a spot, there is plenty of free street parking and surface lots around. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is a good-looking BBQ joint. Spacious, with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, clean, well-maintained, and it gives off a contemporary, country vibe. I sat at a booth. They also have free WiFi which is a nice touch. Service (4/5): You order at the counter, cafeteria-style. While there was a line, I got through it quickly. They had all of the items I wanted, and I didn't run into any issues. No complaints. Drinks (4/5): They have their own beer which is pretty cool. With that being said, I wasn't in the mood to drink so I got one of their homemade lemonades. Free refills. Food (3.5/5): I am most definitely a BBQ snob. I'm from Houston which has some of the best BBQ in the country. As a result, I have high standards. I went with the meat plate which comes with your choice of 2 meats, 1 side, and cornbread. Pickles, onions, several types of BBQ sauce (spicy, regular, and gold), and honey butter are available free of charge in the soft drinks area. I went with brisket, ribs, and mac and cheese. Out of the two meats, the brisket was my favorite. Fatty and moist, easy to cut, this is how you want your brisket. It's what Texas is known for and they do it well here. The ribs, while flavorful, with a nice marinade on them, were quite small. Especially for a BBQ joint. And the mac and cheese was solid though it didn't blow my socks off. An above average meal but relatively small portion size. Usually, at a BBQ spot, you leave stuffed. Here, you'll leave full. The best BBQ I've had in Phoenix is located in Gilbert... but it's not Joe's. That honor goes to Caldwell County BBQ. With that being said, still solid. And another nice thing is that if you come in on your actual birthday (you have to show them your ID), they will give you $15 off.

We were able to replace the sides with more rice at no extra charge for the plate which was really nice. Honestly, it was way too much rice, so next time I'd just omit the sides altogether if I was to reorder this. The mini katsu was more than enough as well. Each piece was perfectly crispy. I loved the steamed veggies. They were unseasoned and balanced out the katsu very well. Worth the price (which was very accurate to the meal and the quality).

I'm giving this place a 4.2/5. It's pretty good for a Hawaiian BBQ spot…read more I got the Teriyaki chicken regular plate with all rice. The chicken was really good and cooked pretty much perfectly. It doesn't have that "char" to it that Hawaiian's cook it like (if you know, you know), but it was cooked almost perfectly imo. The rice wasn't a true Hawaiian sticky rice, but close enough. It almost had more of an Asian texture to it. But it was still good. There was a lot of food, of which I'd expect from a Hawaiian spot. The teriyaki sauce was pretty tasty. It wasn't the best teriyaki sauce I've ever had, but it's a lot better than Ono's Hawaiian BBQ (their chicken teriyaki is trash!). The service was good and fast! The inside was clean and tidy. Was it the best I've ever had? No. But it's good enough to share it with my friends, invite them to go, and go back myself. I'll need to try the chicken katsu and bbq short ribs next time.
