Good Service, Good Food, tastes is consistent with other locations I have tried. Smaller location, parlor is small, parking is free for the first two hours and then paid after 2 hours. Staff was friendly, a little on the noisy side, so may be difficult to hear other members of your party if you want to have a conversation.

Ordered takeout using the website and the food was ready at the time I selected. The custom takeout containers were nice. I like how everything was separated so the food doesn't get soggy. The garlic naan was just ok. It seemed like it was store bought not like an Indian restaurant naan. The Keema fries were very good but it tasted just like chili fries. I expected a different flavor profile. The curry was of course good.

One of the newest food options to an always expanding list of extraordinary dining options at Petco Park as of March 2026. This is why Petco is on everyone's top ballparks in America. THE FOOD! Located on the main concourse near the "Mercado", Coco Ichibanya offers a variation of their menu from the brick and mortar locations. Somewhat limited but offers some of the basics that any foodie would appreciate. I enjoyed the Vegetable Curry on baseballs opening weekend '26. Great flavor and a little bit of heat. They also have chicken cutlet curry, curry buns and a mango slushie! Likely to try some of these other menu options sometime throughout the season. Service was solid. I believe employees here may be hired by Ichibanya and not directly by Petco Park. Seating is limited but luckily I have access to the Cutwater Member Lounge with plenty of lounge and table seating. Just be sure to arrive early or it's standing room only. Keep on Yelp'n!

This is the cleanest Cocos I have ever been in. The staff here is great too. They were always checking on us. Food was spectacular. If you want a good representation of what good Japanese curry is, this place hits the spot. It was my 12 year old nephews forst time and he loved it too. Parking is free forst 2 hours, so you dont need to pay before going in.

CURRRRRRRY!!!! Love Coco Ichibanya's curry! We have been craving it for months and there are non near us!!! I got my mild, he got level 3 and he likes it it's a good spicy level for him! The friend got level 6 loves spicy food and says it's totally nothing! Of course waited for about 1 hr for 10 people but totally worth it!

Delicious curry, quick and friendly service, yummy picked radish. Got the chicken cutlet omelet with Kim chi on the side and a side salad. Hot and steamy, a mound of rice under the omelet and crispy, juicy chicken cutlet. Kim chi was great to cut through the thick and rich curry and the temperature was just right. Def finished my whole plate with no leftovers to spare. Small space but lots of seating. The place was on the fuller side but didn't feel crowded.

Curry tasted burnt. Naan was burnt and crunchy.

When I tell you I love CoCo's, it's an understatement. I've been going to this place most of my adult life but I will never come back to this location. I don't care if it's 10:55pm, the food quality should not change and it definitely shouldn't be burnt. Especially considering that we showed up at 10:30pm. The curry taste burnt and the naan was visibly burnt. (See picture) We felt rushed and watched like hawks. It's one thing to be checked on, but to be glared at while eating only God knows and then checked on so often but saying "no rush" made us feel like we were indeed being rushed. If ambiance is French for "you don't have to go home, but you gotta get the hell up outta here," then there was a helluva lot of ambiance.

It's been a while since I've been back, but Coco Ichibanya is still an OG in my book. We came in about 30-60 minutes before closing and it was smooth from start to finish. No line, seated right away, ordered within minutes, and the food came out surprisingly fast. The vibe is chill and simple. I like the decoration, specifically the spice displays. I was also surprised that they now have a points system. Where was this all those years I could've been earning free stuff?! As for the food, it's a classic Japanese curry too. That same Coco Ichibanya taste you expect every time. We always go for the chicken cutlet curry, and the taste is consistently good.

This place always slaps! Stopped by on Tuesday night for an early dinner, luckily it wasn't too crowded - we were seated right away. There can definitely be a bit of a wait during busier times, as it's a smaller location. We ordered the chicken and vegetable curry and the omelette curry. Spice levels of 2 and 3 - and to be honest not too spicy, probably could have gone higher. Love all the customizations you can add (garlic chips, mushrooms, cheese, kimchi, and more!) in addition to the spice level and rice portion. Curry comes out perfectly hot without being burning hot. Servers were all very attentive and friendly. Parking here like everywhere in convoy is a pain - especially given how tight the spots/aisles are here! You've been warned.

There was a 15 minute wait to be seated when I went on a Sunday evening. I really liked our server. She was friendly and attentive. I tried the Thin Sliced Beef Curry and Spicy Teriyaki Fried Chicken Curry (both spicy level 7). The curry had good flavor and was a good spice level. Definitely had a kick to it. I would have liked a little more meat and added potatoes in the dish.

Curry House Coco Ichibanya Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Curry House Coco Ichibanya

Do you guys do level 20? My wife is one HELLuva spice queen and she thinks the 10 is mild.

if you ask the employee to make it extra spicy then yes

Why has the restaurant been closed and when it's not it's take out only?

I went 2 days ago 5/25/22 and it was open for both dine in and take out

Do they have gluten free options?

There are currently no gluten free options at cocos.

Is location closed for good? Sign on door said "closed until further notice."

Their Facebook Page posted 2 Days ago: "All of Cocoichi locations are closed temporarily due to COVID-19" looks like they will re-open after disinfecting all their stores.

Can you purchase just the sauce, no meat, rice or veggies?

Yes, you can just order the sauce. Just ask to order a sauce on the side and you can order between a small or medium. Spice levels mild, regular, level 1-10.

Is there any vegetarian curry options?

The curry is vegetarian itself. But you can also choose tofu, mushrooms, okra, spinach as the toppings.

Can you call in food for pick up over the phone?

Yes, you can call in your order through the phone but it depends if they are busy or not because of the amount of walk in orders they receive and dine-in.

Are they on Doordash or any other delivery service yet?

Yes, they are on DoorDash, Postmates, and Uber Eats but the service is turned off on the weekends due to how busy it gets. If it's turned off on the weekdays it's because the store is extremely busy because of dine in.

Are they really closed Monday - Wednesday? Their phone line & website says they are open from 11am - 10pm. The hours listed on Yelp and Coco Ichibanya's website are conflicting.

On their door it says 1100-2200. I had just went today (Tuesday) and a friend went yesterday (Monday) so I think they're open 11-10pm regardless of day

So are you guys opening today? Since I'm here it says it's closed :(

    When is it opening?

Mon, March 15 is the Grand Opening!

We went on Friday during lunch at 12. Parking lot was busy but there was parking. Right when we walked in we were greeted and seated. The restaurant layout and the booths are awesome. Reminds me of Japan. The art work is awesome as well, the music choice is great, and I really enjoyed the Curry show that they had playing on TV. Service and Ambiance 5/5 Ok for the Curry. I Ordered a Chicken Cutlet curry with Mozzarella cheese and an egg. The rice is on point!!! The egg was cooked exactly how I like my eggs with the crispy edges and runny yolk. The mozzarella cheese is a must, mix it in with the curry and let it melt . For the curry, wow this is so far the best curry I've ever had. It had a nice sweetness to it but not over powering sweet! Wow! 5/5 The Pork Cutlet Udon was also amazing! Thick and creamy also the pickled ginger is soooo good!

My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday with tonkatsu to the level of our Tokyo dining experience. Our overall dining experience was exceptional. We had not been able to make reservations so we attempted to walk in upon opening. We arrived before opening and were surprised to see a line of about 5 parties ahead of us. By the time the doors opened there was another 5 parties in line behind us. Nevertheless, we were able to get a large table on their patio. We received service promptly. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The baby octopus kaarage and chicken kaarage were on point down to the dipping sauce, Japanese mayo and lemon wedges. The fillet katsu was cooked to perfection and the shredded cabbage was dressed with gingery flavor. This meal just hit every aspect that tonkatsu in Japan has to offer. I was very impressed with the quality, presentation and foremost the taste of all the food. Oishi des!

It was just as good and quick and efficient service. We selected the beef tongue appetizer again (delish), and each got a katsu entree - my sister and I got the katsu curry (demolished that) and my BIL got the deluxe katsu, with curry sauce on the side. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The specials are a great deal as the portion is massive and enough to share between two people comfortably. If you dine in, most entrees also come with miso soup. The curry chicken katsu was nothing special; the curry was a little lacking in flavor, and I would've appreciated a salad of some sort to add variety and freshness. The macaroni salad is good though. The D2 special is great value and variety. It comes with miso soup, tempura, salad, macaroni salad, and teriyaki chicken on a bed of fried rice. The fried rice has a shockingly good wok flavor, and the teriyaki is quite good. Not a dish that will blow your mind, but definitely hits the spot without breaking the bank. They have some tables outside if you have a dog or prefer to sit there right by the parking lot; your food will still be brought out to you, just let them know when you order.

We had ordered baked. When I asked them to exchange for baked salmon she refused saying "once it leaves the kitchen, no refunds". I was really startled because the tone and brashness of the refusal was something I have never experienced at any restaurant. I told them I didn't want a refund.
