The food here is ALWAYS amazing, i love it every time i come here. The service is always great as well, there's a solid crew there every time, I definitely have favorites haha. The environment is very warm and welcoming. I love that there's something new on the tv every time i come. Side note: Perfect for romantic dates or friend dates :)

Went here couple times and they never disappoint! Love me some pappadam so I always get that. Their punjbi chicken is the best one imo, so gotta have that one too! All the staff are friendly and nice, they always recommend the best ones. I love their decorations using vibrant color so u won't miss this place from outside too. They only have street parking, so it's a hit or miss.

One of Curry Lounge's specialties, the Amritsari Kulcha with Chole is a popular North Indian dish. Often consumed for breakfast, Amritsari Kulcha is a stuffed unleavened flatbread, traditionally cooked in a tandoor oven. It consists of spiced mashed potatoes, paneer, yogurt, mixed vegetables & onions. Topped with a slathering of butter or ghee. Never served by itself, Amritsari Kulcha is paired with Chole (chickpea curry). For dipping, raita (yogurt) & tamarind chutney complete the meal. I've had Amritsari Kulcha at many establishments in Little India, and Curry Lounge does it the best! An order is large and a generous amount of food, that'll keep you full for the rest of the day. Regarding the remodel, the restaurant is now more spacious and accommodating for more guests. The murals on the walls & decorations add to the appeal. I've been a regular at Curry Lounge, since they opened, and will continue to be so. Highly recommend!

I give an extra star just for the service. The service was good, but the food was absolute garbage!it just looked good but tasted like paper. The food here taste like different kinds of paper: wet paper, dry paper, hot paper, cold paper. I was so excited to see Szechuan fried rice on the menu. It tasted like wet paper. I was looking so forward to eating the tandoori chicken. It did not even have the classic red color of tandoori chicken and it tasted like hot paper. The noodles were no different. Nothing was good here. The jamoons were decent. However, I have had better. Sorry, but we will never come back.

When we're in the mood for Indian food, we know a trip to Artesia is in order. The day we came to Curry Lounge, we trusted our fellow Yelpers to guide us to a place with good lamb Rogan Josh. We went with Curry Lounge and we both left as fans. I'm not sure if they have a dedicated parking area but the few times we've been here, we've been able to find street parking fairly easily. We were greeted and seated immediately. We got our waters and menus and decided to get Jeeera rice (we recently learned about the benefits of cumin seeds so we were all about this rice), garlic naan, butter chicken, and Rogan Josh. We received our food quickly and we were so hungry we dove right in. We devoured our entrees within minutes. All of the proteins were incredibly tender. The naan was perfectly garlicky, butter chicken had a nice kick, and the jeera rice perfectly complimented the dishes. Everything was delicious and service was attentive and friendly!

Completely understand why it's rated as the Best Indian Food in Artesia on Yelp! Butter Chicken [ ] Juicy and well-spiced [ ] Creamy and deeply fulfilling Saag Paneer [ ] My favorite dish and reminds me of the way I'm used to it being prepared in The Bay Area [ ] Loved the larger chunks of paneer and it's silky yet dense texture Garlic Naan [ ] Warm, toasty, flagrant with a charred fluffy bite I'll be sure to return and left with a to-go order for lunch the next day lol

Currry lounge got their classic dishes to the point. We tried few different dishes and everything was full of flavors and tasted excellent. Bone-in butter chicken was the highlight for me. I have had tried many other places but theirs so far I can highly rate it! Saag+Makki Roti was delicious and cooked to its perfection. You don't find this dish at many restaurants, it was cooked so deliciously and I highly recommend it. Methi Malai and seekh kabab were delicious as well. I highly recommend this place and I will be going back to try other food they have to offer.

The restaurant was busy but thankfully we were seated quickly. The server was patient helped us navigate the menu. We made sure to ask for mild spices (heat) since traditional Indian dishes can be real spicy! I ordered Chicken Ticka Massla and a vegetable dish while my wife ordered a potato stuffed bread. Although we ordered mild spice I have to say it was still a bit more heat than we are used to. It was good but expect to sweat and dive into some rice to curd the heat. We really enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning soon.

We absolutely love this restaurant. Before eating here, I never realized how much I enjoy Indian food. We have returned many times, bringing our friends and neighbors. The service is outstanding. Pawan, always recommends new dishes to try, and knows how to adjust dishes to my taste. I look forward to returning with more friends.

I'm Indian so trust me when I say this place is a 10/10 on flavor and quality!! It's a small little spot so it does fill up quickly. They also did a lot of take out orders when I went during lunchtime on Sunday. The food did take a bit to come out, so I recommend ordering an appetizer. Everything we ordered was worth the wait and I'm excited to try different items next time.

We wanted to try this place since very long time! Finally got a chance this weekend. Make sure to reach in time because the place has less seating or be sure to wait for a few minutes outside the restaurant. We got their balti Chicken curry with malai kofta and missi roti. Malai kofta was outstanding! Chicken was warm and extremely delicious. The service was a bit slow due to rush hour. Great ambience and awesome food!

I love Indian food but a lot of the spots around me are not sit-down or just not my favorite. Curry lounge is officially my number one Indian food spot in OC for me by far!!! I saw there was some hype on social media so I had to try and my expectations were exceeded. The interior is cool, not to mention the whole block is so fun and has so many Indian businesses and culture! The samosas were absolutely delicious, and the main dishes were so flavorful and went perfectly with the garlic naan. The only reason for my 4 stars is because we ordered a side of rice and it never came, but we weren't charged for it either so it's no big deal, just need to wait to try it till my next visit! We also ordered the Chicken 65 but I'd recommend skipping that for more curry dishes. It was good but not necessary for this meal!!

Love this place! This is my second time coming here, first time was before my group watched the superman movie in 2025, and the second time was last night after watching the new Michael Jackson movie. The movie ended around 9:30 yesterday and this was one of the only South Asian food spots still open (they are open till 11pm). Despite it being like 10pm at night, there were at least 2-3 other parties eating there and multiple delivery orders still being placed. We ordered our food to share between the table and it came out fast and hot. We enjoyed the food thoroughly. Will definitely be back!

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Great food in a pleasant atmosphere…read more The hubby and I came to meet up with another couple for a weekend lunch. When we got there at 11:30 it was quite empty, but by the time we left it was nearly full--a popular spot, and we could see why. We were rather pleasantly surprised at how upscale it looked in here--all cloth napkins, white tablecloths, and a recently renovated-looking interior with lots of dark wood. There were lots of options on their lunch special menu, which they even have on the weekends, and even more on their regular menu. I had the paneer tikka masala lunch special and the hubby had the saag paneer lunch special. All the lunch specials come with rice, salad greens, lentil soup, naan, a mini samosa (on attractive metal serving ware), along with self serve coffee and chai. At $16.95 as of this writing, we thought it was a great deal. The hubby and I shared our food and thought it was very good overall. I thought the saag was a touch too salty but it didn't mean I hated it. They do serve alcohol here, although we didn't imbibe on our visit. As for parking, they have a small front parking lot and a larger back lot (which we weren't aware of until our friends told us). If you want good Indian food with very attentive service in a slightly upscale setting, this is a good choice.

Diving into the details - the restaurant decor is quite formal and has always been kind of surprising to be given that I often come for casual meals. The staff are well dressed in white button ups and always very polite so it's good vibes all around. If you know me, I'm nothing if not predictable. I always get the butter chicken and unapologetically so. IT IS SO GOOD. I refuse to be shamed into trying other things and if that makes me basic, so be it. In case you haven't guessed, I'm also always getting their garlic naan as well. I've tried other dishes before but nothing beats the chicken. One thing I will say is the spiciness fluctuates every time even though I always ask for medium so do with that what you will.

The butter chicken is my favorite, I know it's the most basic b Indian food but everything I've tried has been awesome. Sangeetha's cooking has made me ok with trying some vegetarian food when I thought I'd never like any non meat-centric dish. Swing by, try something new or enjoy something old. Relevant - it's not super spicy, but that's ok to me, it's more accessible to people that might be turned off by excessive spice - I have some scorpion pepper powder that I add to bring the heat, and it doesn't hurt the flavor that I've come to love. They're not open Mondays, but hey - she deserves time off! A suggestion if I may - grab an extra bowl of butter chicken alongside whatever else you get, and throw a fried egg or two on top the next morning for breakfast. DOES NOT HAVE BANANAS! As a professional simian that is of note, but not a negative ;) There are random snacks I've never seen before, I've tried a few and have been happy with what I've sampled. The bottles of mango lassi are super tasty and for me, it helps my heartburn.

I probably will not be returning, but it wasn't bad. I think non-south Asians would really like it. Edit: I was going to delete my review, but I got a private message from the owner with a ton of attitude, asking me to take this down, but I don't feel like that's ethical. I don't think three stars is bad. So just to restate. The food is not bad. But I'm not going to take this review down because I don't feel like it's appropriate for the owner to message you privately with an attitude and try to strong-arm you into taking down the review. I have left plenty of reviews about restaurants in Little India, and not once as anybody messaged me with the tone that you have used with me. So I'm leaving it up. Live and learn. Edit: I got a notification that the owner continued to add to her comment, so to answer her questions, I don't remember what I got because it was several months ago, but I remember that it was just okay. It wasn't bad but your approach to dealing with your customers is. I don't think that Yelp has the option of messaging people so you can come at them with a shitty attitude and strong-arm them into trying to change their review. You're honestly just making yourself look worse.
