This place is unethical. They were out of network for my insurance. I wasn't aware. They opened an out of network claim which cost me lots of money for features that would have been free. They did not tell me they were opening an out of network claim fraudulently. My insurance was the one who notified me after I already paid for the glasses. Perfect. Really. They're perfect. The location is conveniently next to my apartment complex, but I would travel a decent amount of time to come and have them manage my contact lense and glasses examinations. Why you may ask? CUSTOMER SERVICE. This office knows the importance of customer service compared to other big name companies AND their prices are VERY reasonable for glasses. I loved my doctor. She was very informative, straight to the point and thorough. Then I went outside to pick out my glasses. The gentleman did not breathe down my neck, try to upsell me, was very informative and gave his opinion if I asked for it and was honest. I picked out my glasses in 5 minutes, ordered the glasses in 10 minutes and was out of there after the appointment within 45 minutes. YES PLEASE! Plus, I walked out spending $300 less on equal-quality glasses and lenses compared to the damage and utter bank account destruction I received after walking out of Lenscrafters. Nobody will complain about that, plus, the service absolutely justified the prices in every way. I will come here until the day we leave this wonderful desert. I LOVE offices that focus on customer satisfaction because they know that we Yelp and refer our friends. Also, they are just honestly good people, and I appreciate how warm, friendly and caring they were - it is truly wonderful to walk into an office and know that I will be taken care of and that I am in good hands. This is a great place! I went after reading all the reviews and thought I'd give it a try! The staff is very friendly and helpful without being pushy! The eye doctor was amazing and very knowledgable also very friendly and personal able. Once I picked out some glasses I was amazed at the price! Cheaper than anywhere I've ever been! I got two pairs with the no glare and plastic lenses for 250! I've paid over 400 for just one pair in the past. But wait there's more! The best part yet...THEY WERE READY THE SAME DAY! They called me within an hour and a half to tell me my glasses were ready for pick up! How awesome is that?! It's a one stop shop with quality and great service. I found the frames i wanted got mu eyes checked by an extremely proffesional doctor and walked a few.feet got my glasses measured for my big head all in just an hour. I went here based on the Yelp reviews and they were all correct! Dr. Tran was beyond knowledgable. I have an astigmatism in both eyes and macular degeneration in one eye. She knew right off the top of her head all the options in contact lens brands available to me, the materials they are made of and the price points of each. He was very patient with me and answered all of my questions. He walked me through and helped with fitting my contacts since it was my first time. His staff was nice and professional also. My dad take me to this place to have a new eye exam and new glasses after few weeks of long wait due it to COVID 19 quarantine I went to meet mr David and his staff, they were very polite and kind , from the door wen we walked in to the back to Dr KADE and his assistant the Asian girl in the back desk , the best customer service I ever have !! FIRST experience. Called and placed on hold for 15 minutes 27 seconds. Then the call goes dead.

I purchased contacts last Wednesday 10/18 and was told they should arrive by Tuesday 10/24. When they didn't, I called in on 10/25 and was told that they STILL were not in and that they should arrive 10/26. This is already an inconvenience as I had appointments scheduled back to back on this day. But I figured I'd try and squeeze in a trip to Henderson to pick up my contacts. When I had asked for the arrival date of the contacts it was because I am flying out of state on the 26th (by 8pm) and wanted to make sure I had my contacts for my wedding. I was not contacted on the 26th so I once again had to call in around 2:15pm to ask for an update as I was running errands and live on the other side of town. I was told the shipments should have arrived by that time. I did not get an update that my contacts were in until 4:07pm. I am very disappointed and frustrated that I will not have contacts to wear for my wedding day. I had called in to see if anyone could stick around for 5 minutes so that I could drive from north Las Vegas to pick these contacts up. I was told yes but to make sure I am there by 6:35 because "the manager has somewhere to be." I feel that statement was unnecessary as it is obvious-- everyone has somewhere to be-- and it isn't my ideal situation to be rushing there across town in rush hour traffic for contacts that should have arrived 2 days ago. This whole ordeal has been an inconvenience for me. Poor follow up on your company all together. I really wish this could be remedied and that the gentleman answering the phone Saul (?) relayed my frustration regarding this situation to the manager Dave (it sounded like he could care less when I spoke to him on the phone). I have been coming to CustomEyes for the past 3 years and refer my friends and loved ones here. Very upset that you guys dropped the ball when it mattered the most for me. read more

I saved this review basically because it's a 2 parter, first going to get the exam and then getting my glasses. So I'll start with the exam, my previous doctor is not there anymore but the new doctor is exceptional, he is very personable and genuinely nice, he also did an excellent job getting my prescription spot on! I then went to get my glasses done up front and they were amazing as well, very nice and personable, not pushy or anything like that. I got my glasses in about 7 days(they said would take 10) because of the type of glasses that I was getting done but it was well worth the wait, the glasses were perfect, the prescription was spot on! These people are fantastic. Dave has set up a culture of great customer service. This is as most retailers used to be and very few are now. Professional, courteous, SMILING. For my most recent visit I needed a nylon strap repaired for one of my lenses. At my request they replaced all four on two pairs, my fear being a strap may break without warning. They did this without charge though I had offered to pay. Unfortunately I'm moving away soon and have little hope my new eyeglass provider will be as good! read more

The doctor is absolutely great, but I have great reasons NOT to trust their customer service at the front store, the information they provide on their website is deceiving and I know their products are overpriced (you can find products for 1/3 of the price online) and their employeed will still deceive u in order to make you go to their store to pay more. I will pay for my frames online and pay another business to do my lenses only because of their dishonesty marketing their products and also because of the inconsiderate employee I talked to twice who deceived me over the phone making me go to the store and didnt do a price match for my frames. Their greed makes them dishonest and I would not support a place like this. read more

I came here as a new patient last week and absolutely love Custom Eyes and Dr. Tran! I went to a doctor before who was not able to correct my prescription in my right eye but Dr. Tran was able to with no problem. She also was able to get me to wear a normal prescription and not the toric contact lense that the stigmatism in my eye calls for as it is such a minor stigmatism. This saved me money on the exam and my contacts will be cheaper. What GREAT NEWS! Everyone in the office was very friendly. The only negative was that their phone lines were down and so their credit/debit cards weren't going through and I didn't have cash on me so I had to go drive to an ATM and get cash and then bring it back to pay them. They didn't offer to bill me but that's ok, issues like that happen and I'm sure it won't happen again. I've been a returning customer for over 5 years, getting 2 new pairs of glasses each year. I've never had a problem with them before until today. One pair of my glasses started to crack in the frame just after two weeks of purchasing them. I took them back, they swapped them out no problem. However these new frames started cracking in the same place. I realized now that it was due to the poor quality of the frames. I took them back to the store, and because it was passed the 60 day warranty, the owner was gonna charge me to replace them. This is how the owner treats his good customers. After having raised my voice at the awful customer service portrayed by the owner, (the rest of the staff was great and very helpful) he ended up switching the frames at no charge. Eyeglass companies are such a saturated market, it surprises me how terrible these independent owners are at customer service. read more

Dr. Tran is very attentive and knowledgeable and cares that you get the eye care needed for you...no cookie cutter here. Today was my second time at Custom Eyes. As Arnold says "I'll be back"...again. On both visits price and service were top notch. After my original visit I had to return to swap out a lens on my glasses. She simply adjusted my script to better match my left eye which as slight astigmatism. On this current visit, Dr. Tran was honest informing me that I was able to be fitted with a "normal" contact lens vs. Toric (much more expensive). She saved me the time of waiting another year (I was well short of funds for Toric lenses) to get contacts with that timely advice. Thanks Dr. Tran! The front staff folks were pleasant too.
