This is for the service dept. Long story short... Very poor Customer Service; no communication from they service adiser's. We as consumers had to call to get status of our vehicle. Our car was dropped off in the morning, no calls throughout the day. Tried calling my service adviser around noon, only to be told that svc adviser is busy, then got news that my car won't be ready til the next day. The following afternoon, still have not heard from our service adviser, Noelle. Called again, spoke with the service dept mgr, expressed the unsatisfactory customer service from his service adviser, and he was very apologietic and he got on it, soon after that my svc adviser finally made contact and provided an update on my car, and that my car will be ready at the end of the day. about three weeks ago I made an appointment with Cutter Ford Aiea to fix my factory recalled air bag. I gave them all the information, including my VIN number of my truck. I drove there all the way from Mililani, dropped of my truck and drove back home with my wife. What I had assumed was that since they new exactly what needed to be fixed and the appointment was made far in advance, they would have the part waiting for my truck. I was so wrong. I got a call from the service representative telling me that they had to back order the part and that it would take two weeks to come in! It is not if my car got towed in there and something strange would have to be changed and that it would take two weeks, I could accept that. But they knew exactly what had to be changed but they failed to follow through so now I have to go back there in two weeks to install the air bag that was suppose to be installed today. Oh by the way, the service representative was trying to tell me that there were all kinds of things that were wrong with my truck. I didn't ask them to look at what was wrong with my truck for additional services. My truck is a 2011 with about 35,000 miles on the odometer and I barely use the truck. I just changed the battery and he told me that I needed a new battery at a cost of a $140.00, new suspension at $600.00, and a bunch of other smaller things. Ok...let me start off by saying I first came into Cutter to purchase a new F150. What transpired after the initial purchase is for the history books. Day 1: I drove to Aiea to test drive new F150's with every intention to purchase a new 5.0 - F150 pickup. We walked the selection and I test what the salesman said was a XLT 5.0 f150. Negotiating with these crooks is a joke. You definitely do no "make the deal" as suggested by their commercials. I had another f150 to trade in they first offered $2500 below suggested trade in price. Anyhow... That's business for these clowns. Now comes the kicker, they sold me a XLT 3.7 liter f150 not a 5.0. All the negotiating I thought we did was for a smaller engine. Days 2-20: I've emailed everyone I can about this matter and still cannot find someone with the last name Cutter. I'm pretty sure it means sleazy in Hawaiian and Cutter doesn't exist. Day 30: the vehicle has over 500 miles so it's no longer considered new... Go figure. They sold me a Certified pre owned 5.0 liter F150 with 15000 miles. Guess what? The transmission went out at 37000 miles. Turns out the certified pre owned owner was actually Enterprise rental. So yeah... Enterprise owned it but rented it out to some jack clown who towed the titanic. I'm said to say this whole experience has turned me into a Chevy fan. Cutter Ford, you should be ashamed of the way you conduct business. read more

If you ever go to their service department, make sure a woman named Noel or Nicole doesn't help you. She act so friendly but she doesn't follow up. You will have to constantly call her up to get updates. Then she would turn around and try to add more charges than what you agreed upon when you accepted the service. Unbelievable! Overall great experience! Would recommend Charley Bollig highly. What separated him from other was he wasn't pushy or trying to get me to buy. Charley was a consummate professional. I went in looking for the Raptor and I had went to all the Ford dealers on the island. Cutter Ford definitely honored the best deal. I feel that I got a fair deal that was good for both parties. I would say that if you want a Ford see Charley at cutter Ford. Now I will say the only negative was that I had to mentioned 3-4 times that I did not want there resist all package. It was 2k, and an add on from the dealer not Ford. It would not have been an issue if they just had taken it off when I told them the first time, but it was after 4 times they finally took it off. Other than that, again have done service and bought now from Cutter very friendly and easy to get appointments and good price. To put a period on the type of service that cutter has, I made a off hand comment about getting a Ford "Swag" item for buying a car. We laughed about it, and when I was leaving they gave a hat. So I'm finally at that point in my life where I can buy a new car! So I was super excited! My husband who has more experience with buying cars told me to go to Cutter Ford. I ended up doing my research on what car I wanted before hand. So When I went there all I had to do was call ahead and they made sure that car was available. When I got there it was about 8pm and it was dark. We started out with one person and was handed off to another persn which was okay because Ashleigh was the bomb!! So we went and test drove the car I wanted and it was awesome I was allowed to go as fast as I wanted and do whatever I wanted with the car. (One of the things I wanted to make sure the car did was have some get up and go). The one thing that made me nervous was that fact that there was literally no gas in the car when we did the test drive. We then went and test drove my car because I was trading it in. While doing this test drive we went to Island Snow and Leonards Jr. Because the car person was hungry. Even though it wasn't professional it was freaking awesome because I was starving and she bought it for me! But anyways. When I ended up getting too numbers I was really unhappy. Not only did they screw me over for the trade in. They gave me super high payments even though my credit is good. I even tried to do a higher down payment and my payemtns are still high. It ended up taking me three hours jsut go get a car which was rediculous. But because the customer service was awesome it wasnt too bad. I don't think I would buy a car here again. i think if I wanted to buy another car I'd find somewhere else to buy it. read more

He was very professional, approachable and just overall great person to work with. Brought in my 2011 Ford Fiesta for "The Works" (oil change, rotate tires, top off fluids, check up tires, brakes). I was attended by Kellie Walroth. I also needed to have a safety recall addressed, but I wasn't able to get an appointment in a timely manner (due to the 2013 holiday season), so I just brought the car in for the oil change. Got lunch nearby while waiting for the car and when I came back, they told me they noticed a clunking noise upon steering, and that it would have to be fixed (covered under warranty). I decided to leave the car there and then they said they'd be able to throw in the safety recall fix too! Picked up the car the next day with the oil changed, the steering noise fixed, and the safety recall issue addressed! Kellie was very accommodating throughout the entire process and did not leave me wondering what was going on. She left me a voicemail and an email the morning of pick up to give me updates. I took my 2009 Ford F150 here for repairs that need to be done by the dealer. I had the ABS fault code, and was 99% sure what needed to be done to it. I knew the ABS module needed to be replaced. After I dropped the truck off, I get a call towards the end of the day by a rep telling me that the whole module and housing needed to be replaced for a total of about $3000. I told her no, that all I needed replaced was the ABS module. She flat out said "Those don't come apart." I told her yes they do, I can find her the part. She wanted to show me the schematic, I told her to email it to me, and I will email her a webpage that sold the part. She hung up, called me back about 10 minutes later, and said "Turns out you were right." The $3000 fix was now going to be 800 for the part 400 for the installation. When I went to pick up the truck, the estimate went up another 150 dollars. I asked why, and she told me that if they do any work to the brakes, they need to change the brake fluid. The module is an ELECTRONIC part and has nothing to do with the physical brake system! I told her to hold off on the part and found a mechanic to install a 500 module I ordered online. Long story short, AVOID this dealership if you need ANY work done on a vehicle that isn't under warranty. read more

Bottom line: Ask for Bashan. I would like to tell the story if you're interested... We just leased a Focus Electric. Our first trip to this dealership some time ago to look at a Fusion was not the best... We had an inexperienced salesman meet us in the lot and we're hounded by his supervisors so much that the whole experience came across as very unprofessional. I asked not to be called but provided my number for some new-guy tracking requirement like a dummy. Of course I ended up getting called, but to their credit not more than once. Fast forward a few months and we meet Bashan purely by chance. We were about to lease a Nissan Leaf and wanted to check out the Focus to see what Ford had to offer. First sales guy that comes up reminds us a lot of our first experience... Doesn't know the current incentives and tells us we can look up the current incentives online. Great. Then we meet Bashan, who gets visibly upset when we tell him about our experience. Now, I am a very skeptical person and I know the car buying game very well (I am one of the few who actually enjoys the back and forth negotiations). But I will tell you that I know this wasn't a game... Bashan was beyond sincere. Tells us he's in the business of building long-term relationships whether you buy a car or not. We ended up choosing to go for it, and we're glad we did. The rest of the process went very smoothly and they were able to make us very happy with the terms and our trade-in value. Pleasantly surprised that there were zero shenanigans. But the best part was and continues to be Bashan even after the sale. Has been there for us no matter the question or concern, and knows that customer service isn't just saying you have the best... If i were opening a dealership, I'd hire him to run it. For real. Multiple bad reviews for a reason, don't be like me and not adhere to them. I had been thinking of upgrading my 2012 mustang I bought here, funny cause today my ID card fell between the door and the door panel so figured id kill two birds with one stone and see if they can redeem themselves. NOPE, why would I think a year would change anything. The two older ladies in service told me it would cost $50 to take the door panel off without even looking at a time/price chart. For someone who works in service she would have seen removing the door panel takes 0.1 time in mechanical service time as there are two screws holding it in place. A quick YouTube search just to make sure I didn't mess my baby up and in 8mins turn around of removing it and screwing it back in place I was done. ID card in hand. Not only did I save $50 dollars but probably another $10K plus I was willing to spend for up grading my mustang. Guess Ill be looking into that Camaro that's caught my eye! I have always had pretty good experiences with cutter ford, there service department is pretty amazing and they took great care of my mustang! However,... I financed a car through them in August 2018 and now have no other choice but to leave this review. I was given the registration in November 2018 with the completely wrong first name. They said they were going to fix it. I have checked on this occurring problem, WEEKLY since November trying to get my registration corrected and sent to me. It is now FEBRUARY OF 2019 and all I've been told is "we will call you when it gets here". My registration and safety are now both expired and I cannot drive my car without getting pulled over, I've already gotten a warning from HPD and I'm not trying to risk getting a ticket. I have expressed this to Alyssa, twice, in a voicemail and have never gotten a call back from her or anyone else to straighten the situation out and give me an answer. No one from this dealership is returning my calls! And I'm stuck not being able to drive my car because they can't get me the correct registration. After this car left their lot, their customer service skills went down the gutter. read more

They get two stars because the Service Rep, Liz I had yesterday was polite and knew what she was doing. Other than that, I would have gave them a one or zero if it let me. First, if you drop off your car early in the morning, their shuttle service didn't start til 8:15am. Fail! So, I ended up waiting for my car which was within the time that Liz estimated it would take. When I get the service order which shows what they did and any suggestions on what I may want to consider for service. Low and behold, to my shock!!! Nothing was wrong with my car. However, the last time I was there the Service Rep, Will, told me I needed new filters, new blades, new brakes, etc, etc.... Talk about earning a commission or whatever you want to call it. He wanted me to do so much more than just the standard Works package (oil change, tire rotation). Do not see this guy, if he helps you. You have been warned.
