I came here after a friend recommended it for work dinner. She was right, great service (our server was very attentive) and equally delicious food! The highlight of the night was the crab dip, crab stuffed shrimp and the 10/10 bread pudding! Enjoyed a stellar meal at Cutter's Crabhouse for Seattle Restaurant Week '24. This is a restaurant that I frequented back in the day when I had a craving for seafood fettucine and crème brûlée. We started with an order of the crab & artichoke dip. Since this is a Landry's restaurant and similar to Scott's Bar & Grill, we were not disappointed. The dip came with crostini and we were brought extra, which we appreciated. AD and I both ordered the clam chowder and family styled the entrees and desserts. We both agreed that the clam chowder was hearty, flavorful, had plenty of clams, as well as a nice portion size. For our entrees, we ordered the Dungeness Crab & Shrimp Fettucine and the Bourbon Miso Alaskan Black Cod, which was divine! Sadly, the black cod isn't on their regular menu and was only a special for SRW. I'm certain I would've enjoyed the seafood fettucine more had the black cod not been a distraction. Cutters Crabhouse: Will you please add the black cod to your menu, so we can enjoy this year round? For desserts, we enjoyed the crème brûlée and chocolate cake. For the quality and the generous portions, it's hard to believe our SRW 3-course dinner was only $35. The food was delicious and service from Malachy was attentive! I will note that my arrival was a bit clunky - the hostess who showed me to my table had no awareness that I was lagging behind, as she continued to walk her fast pace. I also sat at our table 10-15 minutes before I was greeted, offered water or brought the requested SRW menu. However, once Malachy showed up, everything was better and that's when the dining experience started to take an upturn. Most enjoyed their meals; but explained to the server that my salmon had to be medium rare but it arrived cooked through and cooked unevenly one side cooked noticeably than the other. Cutters Crabhouse is a beautiful space with great views. Several colleagues and I visited here for dinner. We were originally told they couldn't accommodate a party of 6, but they changed their minds and seated us in the lounge area. Our server was polite and friendly, and was happy to give recommendations. I was disappointed by the menu. There was not a single vegetarian option available. This was pretty surprising in Seattle! I ended up getting a side of steamed vegetables, which was fine, but not substantive enough for a meal. I would not return. read more

My husband and I went there for an early dinner tonight. The restaurant was still very empty. We had two servers, Ethan and Thomas tending to our table they were second to none. We ordered the mussels on a Thai sauce for appetizers that was just perfect. The sauce was so good that I could spoon it down. For main course I had pasta with shy and dangeness crab. I requested to have my fettuccine sauce mixed with the Thai sauce. It was perfect. My husband had a King salmon to melt in the mouth. Just a wonderful way to leave town. Great views, excellent service, varied menu and they are flexible about substitutions and special requests. Cocktails were full strength and corkage service was spot on, complete with decanter and ice bucket. Filets were properly prepared and nice cuts, but the king crab is the star of the show. The only negative was the kitchen does not serve it ready to eat, so patrons have to cut and crack it table side, which is a bit ridiculous given it's $125 a pound. Careful What You Order Here I had had a couple of good experiences here, so I gave them another try. The waiter highly recommended the crab sandwich. It turned out to be a lot of high fat cheese with an isolated small island of crab here and there. Not good for me, nor satisfying. More of a con. Nice decor, good service, good variety, and next to no protein. A con that may work with some people. If it won't work with you, be careful what you order here. read more

Overpriced for mid quality. Only positive was the manger was super nice. Got attitude from the workers at the bar rail. Then, it's way too expensive for not great food. I ordered a $13 clam chowder and they asked "would you like to add an ounce of crab to that?". I said yes and when I got the bill it was $12.50 FOR AN OUNCE OF CRAB. A "half pound" of Dungeness crab was $24 so I thought it would be not that expensive but boy was I wrong. My girlfriend got Poke for $20 and it was subpar at best. And those were the cheapest meals outside of salad. Save your money and get street food or something. read more

OK, the reason for only two stars is not so much about the food or the view. The reason for the two stars is about the service and the lack of timeliness. We were seated at a nice table with a great view of the waterfront and we let the waiter know that we had a show to get to. We had an hour and 15 minutes so it should've been plenty of time. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to get our appetizers and then the pumpkin shrimp was dry and overcooked. The salads were fine. But then it took another 20 minutes to get our entrées. The waiter of just kept saying they are coming right out. The crab stuffed halibut was delicious, but we really didn't have time to enjoy it because we were in such a rush. There's really no excuse for this as we got there at five and the restaurant was not busy. read more

Came here with hubby for our 37th Anniversary. Restaurant was full. We were hoping for a window table, but sat in the center instead. Okay seating. Food was delicious. We had the artichoke dip, burrata plate, sea bass, and salmon dinners and dessert - all were excellent. We had a gift card which paid for 1/2 the meal. It was pricey, but worth it. Came for dinner after making a reservation. Food was very delicious! The brussel sprouts, so yummy. The dungeness crab additon topped on the clamp chowder, incredible! Drinks were good. I got the crab sampler and it was fantastic! The 1.5 lbs was a great value compared to the 1 lb king crab legs my husband got. I will say the king crab legs arent very big like we are used to. The snow crabs were great. The Key lime and turtle cake was good, the cake needed more ice cream and huby said it was okay. The reason I took 1 star off is because our server (nice guy) didn't pay attention to the small details like making sure our water glasses were full, we always had to ask for refills after passing by our table and not coming back with the pitcher on his own. We had to remind him about our drinks, we had already finished eating our chowder bowls, and had to ask for our cocktails and soda again. We were never asked if we wanted another cocktail and my son never got a refill. We also asked for table bread with our chowder, it never came unfortunately. They have no Military/Veteran discount....which is really a bummer considering a ship was pulled in right at our window and Sailors were all over downtown hanging out in their uniforms on our way there. Even a delicious pizza reataurant we went to the night before in Bellevue had a generous Military/Veterans discount. So, that was dissapointing to hear. Lastly, when we arrived there was broken crab legs and shrimp shells, and pieces of crab pieces at my seat and on the floor. I had to wait to have it cleaned and vacuumed up so I didn't get crab meat stuck to the bottom of my sandals. The hostess told the gentleman that cleans and sets the table sorry for asking him to clean it for me but didn't tell me sorry she was sitting us at a table not properly cleaned. Thought that was odd. Anyway, because the food was really good, server was polite at least, and the view of the water and sunset at our table was beautiful, and we're just happy to be on vacation tbh, we feel they still deserved 4 stars. This place has potential but fell a bit short in some areas. We had a reservation and still had to wait 20 mins for a table. The table was nice with a water view and we did catch the sunset. Our waiter was amazing. The food seemed to be liked by others. I'm gluten free so there menu was a bit limiting for me. I ended up with a salad which I wouldn't normally order. I ate some of my bfs sea bass which was ok. Cocktails were good. The meal was pretty expensive, one of the pricier places we ate at in Seattle. I would try it again. The food was delicious. The staff were very sweet and welcoming. We made reservations and were able to get a seat closest to the window, which was a beautiful view of the water. For starters, we ordered the Crab & Artichoke dip, which was amazing by the way. For our entrees, I ordered the grilled seafood trio and my partner ordered the copper river sockeye salmon. I was very pleased with their selection of non-alcoholic beverages. I ordered the Lychee Lime Soda and he ordered the ginger snap. To finish off the night, we ordered the creme brûlée. It was the perfect size and wasn't too heavy of a dessert to end dinner with. If you are looking a good place for a date or just a nice family dinner with a view, I would recommend going here.
