The food was truly fantastic! -crab & shrimp fettuccine -salmon -pacific oysters All amazing. The service was not great. Our waiter had to come back twice for clarifications after we wrote things down (which is fine - I'd rather them check than to have an issue), but we ordered Dungeness crab legs and never received them. We were not checked in on for 30 minutes. Then when they finally came back, they said "oh, the waiter doesn't remember you ordering those" - we opted to cut out losses and we said don't worry about it, and we said for another 15 minutes waiting for our check. Then someone came out with and offered us crab dip (which WAS good, minus the two giant hairs in the bread...). They brought us new bread. Then it took them an additional 15 minutes for someone to come and get our check. All in all, we never saw the original waiter again, as he seemed focused on two ladies at the end of the bar. There was one waiter who seemed very nice, and then one additional staff member in flashy suit that was nice, but were were less than satisfied with this dining experience. Made a reservation for Valentine's Day, got to Cutters 5 minutes before my reservation, was told they were running behind which I have lots of understanding for. Waited in the lobby for 45 minutes with many frustrated guests and finally got seated almost an hour after my reservation time. Server was in a rush the whole time. After placing our drink order, we waited 30 minutes for them to come out. Ordered our food, the steak was dry and completely flavorless. The shrimp was cold and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day long. For a $300 dollar dinner I expected so much better. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Cutters Crabhouse Team, Thank you GM Nicole for the support in the adjustment of our family reservation to a semi-private event for our daughter's 14 June 2025 UW HUSKIES Graduation celebration. Nicole and Alena the Sales & Events Coordinator gave us the area we wanted in the main dinning room for the great view of bay and piers. The supporting staff Daniel and Vanessa were awesome. Any additional items ordered can in a timely manner even with a full house even our bar drinks. Daniel also informed the front not to seat anyone in the booth across from our and 10 top giving us extra space. Their attention and interaction was awesome and always showed up at the right time to ensure we were okay. As far as the food it was great and everyone enjoyed everything. What an outstanding dining experience! The service was impeccable, the view magnificent, and the food was outstanding. We started with dungeness crab legs and calamari. The crab legs were very good, but the calamari was the best I've ever had. The batter was incredibly light, and it was cooked perfectly. We followed with salmon (my wife) and tuna (me). The tuna was cooked perfectly, which is rare. It was accompanied by a wasabi rice, which was delicious. Throughout the meal the wait staff perfectly threaded the line of being attentive without being intrusive. I recommend dining here if you have the opportunity! read more

Dined here last night for a late anniversary dinner. Reservations were easy to get and it wasn't very crowded. The hostess acknowledged us promptly, and even congratulated us on our anniversary. I let them know when I made the reservation. Just a note... For parking purposes, they do validate for the underground parking that is adjacent to the restaurant. We started out with some oysters on the half shell and seafood chowder. Both were absolutely outstanding! For the main courses, we selected jambalaya, and Chilean Seabass. Have you had the giant crab legs at Cutters Crabhouse at Pike Place Market? I've lived in Seattle for almost 25 years and for whatever reason it has never crossed my mind to eat here. As of yesterday, I think I will add this to my list of restaurants to take visitors, especially if they are interested in eating crab at a restaurant. The service was friendly, professional, and hospitable. The crab legs tasted amazing! They were huge, meaty, and fresh. It went well with the Mediterranean Couscous with mushroom and bottle of Poet's Leap Riesling. The food here was delicious including the views. It's right next to the end of pike place. The service was good and accommodating as we were a group of 14. The bartender was great and friendly. We had the artichoke dip for the appetizer and while delicious it did not come with enough breads for the dip. The plates were large in size. I had the open faced crab sandwich with truffle fries. We went here and were going to make a reservation but had forgot so we walked in. They were able to sit us in the bar area which had tables and full service so no big deal. They said they were full w reservations, however in debating if we wanted to sit at the bar area or restaurant area for more water view, looked on open table and there were reservations for the time slot of 7pm which was ten minutes from when we got there, which the host said they were full. No big deal as we decided to just do the bar area. Side note: if on the water and people come for the views, cleaning the windows would help, many were so dirty or handprints all over that didn't matter how nice the view, also diminished the aesthetic of the restaurant which appears to be a nicer establishment. Anyways back to the food and service. Our waitress came over and we had been there a minute, not too long though, but she greeted by saying oh my god, I don't even know how long you've been sitting here. That should've been the red flag of the night. She wasn't that busy but was rushed and all over the place. At one point the two tables around us had their food and they came after and even had bigger parties. After waiting over an hour she blamed it on us having the shrimp cocktail appetizer and then said they had a cruise ship trip party come into the restaurant section so it slows the kitchen down. So she says let me go check on your food and low and behold she's carrying it to the table on the way back, assuming it was probably ready but she stood and talked at the bar for so long with every employee that passed by that she wouldn't have known if it were ready or not and if we didn't flag her down might've taken longer. We also sat with empty drinks for at least 10-15 minutes before we flagged her down for refills. The kicker was at the end though when she said I thought the other guy dropped your check let me go see where it is. However never offered dessert or anything, which we planned to do, but at that point just decided to find dessert somewhere else. Other tables around us were also flagging her down and waiting on things and we overheard comments from each table and she always blamed it on something. One table she said the chefs had to remake the food because it wasn't right, etc. Onto the food. This is where I give it some stars because the service was a 1 and honestly in visiting Seattle, the worst service we had anywhere. The food was good, the halibut had nice flavor so we truly enjoyed our food and our company. The presentations of the food were lacking, but the taste did make up for that. Went in there this afternoon. We waited at the host stand for a LONG time. The employees saw us there but no one ever came over. At one point I walked up to the bartender and politely asked if there was a host who could seat us. She snipped at me that the guy was coming. Walked back to the stand and waited some more. More employees looked our way. But no one came over and engaged us so we just left. It's weird because there was barely anyone in the place and yet they still seemed harried.
