Don't know about the CVS, as I didn't shop there, but the Minute Clinic was excellent.

We came here to pick up some scripts I recently had to get. It looked fine walking in, the Photo…read morelab was weirdly dark even though most of the employees were over there. The pharmacy staff was frankly the best part. The tech was friendly, fast, and confirmed they had all the meds in stock before saying they would fill them. The big thing that caught our attention was in the short time we were there we spotted THREE roaches dead or dying. Shana saw a dying one in the woman's restroom, there was a dead one in the pharmacy waiting area, and finally a dead one in front of the food freezer. There are most likely more but that is gross to see three that obvious. Since we were waiting, Shana grabbed a snickers bar and went to pay at front registers. Normally at every Walgreens it is the big register, with all the stuff behind it that is the one in use. Since the employee was also over there that is where Shana headed. Employee said something to Shana and Shana was surprised and said sorry and went to other register. The employee was not pleasant, took their time getting to the register they sent Shana too and was just not a good experience. I don't claim that you have to like the work but if we were nice, you can try the same. They treated us like we were the biggest bother and they were frowning and upset the whole time. It was a blast. I have worked for Walgreens, I know they are awful but if the customer was nice or at least not a jerk then I could still smile and try and be pleasant. Its not hard normally. Then to treat us like we are dumb for going to the register you were working behind. Just not great. Walgreens doesn't care about the reviews or its employees but hopefully this helps people try and avoid this store. The second star is purely for the pharmacy staff.

Don't trust the pharmacy at a Walgreens. They are always understaffed and overworked. I have…read morereceived the wrong prescriptions and wrong doses in the past. Their scrips always have something wrong and are often incorrect nor are they ready when they are suppose to be. I cannot say I am a happy customer because that would be a stretch! The problem is that almost all the other chains are operating exactly the same way.

This roach was in the pharmacy waiting area. The third was in the women's restroom and according to Shana, still alive but dying.

I don't understand all the negative reviews for this Walgreens. I've been coming here for two…read moreyears and it's by far my favorite pharmacy. The pharmacists are incredibly nice and go above and beyond to help with whatever you need. So often I've been checking out and the pharmacist will realize that there is discount card that makes a medication cheaper than my insurance so he/she will go back and redo my prescription barcode etc so that I get the best deal possible--without my saying a word! One time I was buying some skincare products along with my prescription and the pharmacist even called and asked the makeup counter for a coupon for one of the Olay Regenerist products for me. They have tracked down doctors for me late on Friday after the doctors had left the office. They have helped me problem-solve when I needed a medication and neither they nor I could reach my doctor for the weekend. They just truly go above and beyond. Plus they are friendly and knowledgable. I always leave feeling the pharmacists here care. They're really exceptional. Some of the pharmacy techs are SO nice too. There is one woman in particular who is so bubbly and kind to everyone. The managers are also friendly and remarkably helpful. As one person already described in her review, the managers always ask if they can help you and they are eager to do whatever they can for you. One of the regular store checkout guys is also so nice and chats with me for a second every time I see him. It's just really a quality place. If you want to go to a pharmacy where you're just a number and they don't give a crap about you, yeah it might go a little faster. I personally think it's worth the extra two minutes to go to a pharmacy where they know my name (and often the names of the customers before/after me too) and where they give so much attention and care to each person who comes through the door. It's the kind of quality customer care that my parents talk about missing because, unfortunately, it hardly exists anymore. I know it's weird to be so enthusiastic about a pharmacy, but I love this Walgreens. I hope they don't ever change. Highly recommended.

This CVS pharmacy inside Target has worse customer service than the CVS Target pharmacy on Mopac…read more Somehow, they had ALL of my prescriptions on default for using a coupon instead of billing it to my insurance. I was charged an arm and a leg on my prescriptions the last five months, even though I had met my deductible. When I kept questioning how much insurance was covered, Joe G., the pharmacy manager and the female Asian pharmacy technician, kept claiming my insurance or coupons were used. Uncheck the darn box and see how much it costs with insurance billed instead of using coupons. There's also a bug in their software, which claims Navitus insurance was used when I have a different insurance. It wasn't until I drove down to the South Austin Target location that the pharmacy technician Alex discovered that filling covid tests should be free instead of $74. He unchecked the default of using a coupon on all my prescriptions. Simini runs a tighter ship at the South Target location. I went back to see Joe G., the manager, at the Great Hills location. I showed him my Express Scripts insurance card and Joe G. claimed I could only fill prescriptions at Walgreens or Costco. What? I've never filled a prescription at Walgreens or Costco in my life, and I told him I had been seeing Simini at the Target South location for twelve years. He gave me a refund over the last three months of over- billing, where they billed to coupon instead of insurance. The only thing I didn't have him back check was my Armour thyroid, whether it would have been cheaper to fill a 30 - day vs. 90 - day supply. Minus two stars because Joe said their location doesn't typically check if it's cheaper to fill one month vs. three months, or coupon vs. insurance. The only pharmacist at the Great Hills location who does this is the Latina pharmacist (probably a temp). Joe put it in my profile to search for coupons when my deductible is reset at the beginning of the year. But honestly, they should be doing that for all customers, not just me. When I told him that my insurance didn't didn't cover 90 - day supplies until after three months, he claimed he didn't know because they don't check for that at the Great Hills location. I told him it was his Latina pharmacist who told me that the previous week. These are the kinds of things a good pharmacist will look up for me and the customer service I expect from every pharmacist. I may switch to Symphony Pharmacy for this reason. Joe G. refused to fill an order for covid tests, citing we needed a prescription with our Express Scripts insurance. I've filled 8 tests at Target South with no prescription before. I'm definitely not coming back to this location again. Perhaps he billed it to coupon again for $74. Five minutes after Joe G. told my husband that Express Scripts doesn't fill covid tests without a prescription, my husband went to the CVS on Anderson Lane and they were able to fill four boxes for free using our insurance without a prescription. When I called Joe G., he said he didn't even try running it through our insurance. We are never coming to this location again. Apparently, Joe G. isn't aware there are different tiers with every insurance.
