And if that wasn't enough, another lady was getting screwed over for something different at the checkout while this was all going on. Just straight up stupid workers. I had no engagement with staff while in the store so can't comment on that bit. I took a Waymo so can't comment on parking either but I was a little confused at first by the different set up here. They have 2 stories! So if you're looking for something and don't see it on the first floor, head up the stairs and it'll probably be there. They do have an elevator, as well, if needed. By the registers, they have 3 Self Checkouts for easy self-serve shopping. One staff was monitoring the operations but it was a seamless experience for me. You just gotta keep in mind you are downtown so you may encounter unhomed people and all that comes with that.

While staying in Austin my friends and I went to this Target to get some groceries, sunscreen and such. Our first challenge was finding a parking spot that we didn't have to pay for. We could 15 minute parking and them walked through an abandoned lot to the very lack luster entrance. My immediately impression was that this reminded me of the Target from the early 1990s that competed with Kmart. The ceilings are low and the selection was limited but I would say, basically being located on the UT campus, the inventory is probably targeted to stuff college kids needs you know like ramen noodles and storage tubs. The one bright spot was that there was a Starbcucks inside and after our morning errands we were ready for coffee.

It looks like the place was hit hard as there were items everywhere, there were boxes littered throughout with items meant for restocking, and the energy just felt a little tense. That being said, I think it's not too bad of a location. Super close by where my Airbnb was and close by bus station and a major road in the city. It's long but not wide and so there aren't a ton of aisles but the aisles are longish. The beginning of one aisle might have chips but by the end of it you'll be with the makeup. Cashiers are up front and there aren't a lot of self checkout lanes. Some items were locked behind a glass door but for the most part, everything was accessible without the help of employees. I didn't find my first choice for a couple of items but found my backup choice. So I'll give it a 3 star. But don't expect it to be the cleanest or most tidy

After my purchase, I told Ruby about the elevator incident, that she was more engrossed in her cell phone than providing good service. I asked her who is the supervisor of this CVS. She said she is the supervisor. What a shock. A supervisor who gives Bad customer service and who didn't know how coupons work. Negative star rating!

Lost my prescription. Doctor sent in the prescription, but they are requiring that the doctor call…read morethem. Why are you making me go through extra work to get my medication? I go to the doctor's office through Sesame, an online portal for those without insurance. The medication isn't even a controlled substance. That's unethical, abrasive and completely undermines the importance of medication and mental health. It is absolutely beyond me that I may not be able to take my medication for a few more days because they want to hear her voice when they can plainly see she has submitted the medication to them. I will be finding a new pharmacy.
