I recently relocated to Highland Park and was very excited to see that I now live a few blocks away from a CVS. Sadly I have only came here three times in the last 3 1/2 months. The first time, my sister and I were being hit on the a tall blonde haired, blue/green eyed employee that was helping us check out our items. We felt uncomfortable but did not think much about it. The second time, which was 3 weeks later, my sister went by herself and that same employee was helping her check out but this time he was asking personal questions and even continued to ask for her number. I recently came by myself here and same employee helped me check out my items and was asking personal questions about where I live, if I "like to hang out" and even my age (when I was not buying items that needed an ID). I left as quickly as I could. I am very disappointed that I need to go to the CVS on the other side of Highland Park on Figueroa, when there this one that is walking distance, because I do not like to be verbally and sexually harassed every time to go shopping for items that I need. read more

I used CVS.com to try and get a digital photo printed, and everything went wrong. I uploaded and processed the print order via CVS.com and selected the CVS on York Blvd (4414 York Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90041) for pick up. I received a confirmation email that the order was received and that it would be ready in about an hour and then no further communication. I went to the store a couple of hours later to pick up the photo and was told when I got there that the printers were broken and that I needed to reorder for pick up at another store. Would have been nice to get an email saying the order was not going to be processed! So then I went back online to CVS.com and reordered the same thing for pick up at CVS at 1122 E Broadway in Glendale. I received a confirmation email that it would be ready in about an hour. Then an hour later I received an email that the order was ready for pick up. Note, this order consisted of just one single 4x6 print. I drove to the store and when I got there they told me they did not have the print ready. Then the clerk fiddled around with the computer and told me that the order was in the system and that it was behind other orders and wouldn't be printed for another hour or so. This turned out to be a lie, as confirmed by a different clerk later, and only served to waste my time further. My order was not in their system at all. The second clerk (after the first one's shift ended and she left) advised that I use a USB drive and print it on demand using their other machines. So I went to my car and copied the image off my laptop and onto a USB drive and brought it back in. Put it into 3 different computers and none of them could read the drive. Then he suggested putting it on my phone and try that, but the computer couldn't read images off my iPhone (that approach seems to only work for Android). Then I found a different USB drive and tried the whole process over again with the same result. Then I tethered my laptop wifi to my phone and uploaded the order once again to CVS.com to see if they could get the order that way again. I waited another 10 minutes and the order never arrived in their system. At that point, I'd wasted another hour with these people, was extremely frustrated and fed up. I tried every possible way to use their service, but was an utter failure. I would never use CVS again for photo services. Their Kodak equipment is super obsolete and the clerk basically told me the company doesn't care and will not upgrade or fix problems, because even though it doesn't always work, sometimes it does. And for CVS, apparently, that's good enough! read more

Bianca the store supervisor is completely incompetent. What a shame that such a great store could give such horrible customer service. Not only is she incompetent but she is also lacks empathy. And that is what leads to the worst type of customer service. Priscilla and Joyce thankfully stepped in an helped me out. But sadly I think I'll just go up the block to wallgreens. read more

Never wrote a review for a pharmacy...but checking on hours of pharmacy brought me.to these horrible reviews...personally the crew and the pharmacy have always been adorable and competent...there are always a few older folks waiting who are cranky and confused...but hey that's the neighborhood. ..thumbs up from me read more

Never use yelp but i had to make an account just to leave a review. Went in with a friend to buy a dry shampoo i have sensitive skin so i sprayed on to see if it would harm my skin and it wasnt for my skin type so i put the product down and walked away my friend was going to purchase 3 conditioners but she decided not to because target is only 2 minutes away glad we didnt products were better priced at target but anyways the only reason i am writing this review is because the guy with glasses who acts like he owns the lot screams across the cvs is this yours? My friend responds with no and we walk out as he proceeds to follow us out the door screaming you are not allowed at this CVS no more! Good riddance! How rude no wonder you hardly see customers and read the rest of the reviews before you set foot in here. read more

I love this CVS pharmacy! Recommend highly... Probably due to one exceptional pharmacist (she could be an assistant), who's name I can't recall. I've been to many pharmacies and didn't have the best experiences. I would say they have great customer service, however, I would not use the Drive-Thru if there was more than 1 person before me in line. I have only had that happen once when there were 2 cars ahead, and it took what felt like a million years. Usually, it's not that busy so yay for that. I just wish they were open 24hours. I'm a night owl. I'll have to mention said pharmacist's name (next time). It's important to me, because nice, smart people who will help you are so hard to come across these days. I'm a Monthly customer who is happy!! You can say I'm sort of like a bubble girl. I know the arms look so dumb, I can't even. read more

I was here Sunday morning Nov 26 and I bought one item and handed the young Asian clerk a $20. Bill. He took it and said there was trouble with the register and called a skinny woman over but neither gave me my change back for the $20. They ran around causing confusion purposely, it seems. Other customers were upset because they were being held up. They are thieves and use bate and switch tactics. read more

I am a local physician that regularly uses this pharmacy because my students go there for convenience, but there is a female pharmacist with a monotone voice there that has the worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my 15 years as a Psychiatrist. She is rude, condescending, and just plain totally unacceptable in her customer service, let alone a physician who calls regularly, and every time I call it's as if I have never spoken to her before. Maybe it's part of her passive aggressive method because she knows who I am and doesn't like me either. By the way, I am a Psychiatrist, so I have a lot of experience with passive aggressive people and I am not exaggerating here. I am starting to refer my students at Occidental to the Fairpark CVS instead. I hate being negative, but I want her boss to talk to her about her attitude, as it is not good for business. Her CVS is not the only game in town. People will vote with their feet with this kind of service. read more

Reviewing the Pharmacy Only at 4414 York, LA. I wish I could give ZERO stars. I call for a refill & went to pick it up when they text'd it's ready & nothing's been done. And they're RUDE about it. There was a guy at the window taking a loooong time while there were about 5 of us waiting in line. Turns out the guy had his prescription at another CVS but he was still allowed to take as much time as he needed, leaving the rest of us to wait. But when it was my turn and I found out nothing had been done to refill my order, plus they were out of stock (what is it with CVS always being out of stock on meds frequently purchased?) and they were being RUDE about it, I was told to move along as there were other customers in line. WTF who does that? The pharmacist on duty bent over backwards to back up all her staff that effed up and spoke to me in a rude manner and said they would make the calls & give me a partial order. I waited one hour & then I felt lightheaded and had to leave but I let them know. They admitted they were waiting for a callback (that should have happened a week earlier when I originally called but c'est la vie). So I went home without my meds but when I was able to go back they did have my partial order and some other meds ready. Whew, a lot of work and stress for me to give Big Pharma their overblown prices and to line everyone up and down the ladder's pockets!! read more

Avoid this pharmacy. I am a physician who has called in prescriptions to the pharmacy, the staff is incompetent. At the very least they may lose your prescription and waste your time, or worse they may give you incorrect medical advice. read more

Basic supplies. Good for a last minute gift too.

Convenient, in a way, because our doctor sends our prescription directly to the pharmacy. But when we go pick up our meds, no matter how many people are there in the pharmacy, the service is just so slow and inefficient. It was way different when Frank was there, even if it's just him there, I seem to get what I need when I need them. Hope Frank will be back soon. read more

Basically a CVS is a CVS, but this pharmacy is exceptionally inept. I advise you to fill your prescriptions elsewhere!!!

this cvs used to be easy to fill rxs, but now the new pharmacist makes every excuse in the book "not to fill" controlled medications...pharmacy tech said my rx would be ready in one hour, i retured an hour later and "magically" the pharmacist..a.k.a. "wanna be doctor" said there is no more of my medication, ??? hmmmm this isnt the first time either, sam, patty, and most of the pharmacy techs are very nice and helpful, but the pharmacist, need to do their damn job and just fill what the doctor prescribed.... we dont need the wanna be doctor/pharmacist's (2 cents)... read more
