I could walk to this CVS but I'd rather drive 20 minutes to the CVS in Culver City because that would be faster. I have had a problem here every single time I've come. With the same damn insurance every time, too! I swear this CVS is some kind of twisted government experiment it's like walking into an episode of The Twilight Zone where nothing works and everything takes about 100 times as long as you think it should. They should change the name from CVS to DMV. I once came in with SEVERE pain from a kidney stone. I was the 6th person in line trying to get my pain medication. I couldn't stand up. I was in such pain I was crouched on the floor as the pain meds from the hospital wore off. In this situation you expect everything to "seem" like it's taking forever but in my case it literally took 20 minutes to get to the pharmacist. And this was after the lady in front of me paid her co-pay with pennies and nickles while the cashier counted the coins so slowly it was as if they were playing some kind of cruel joke on me (maybe they were?) I had so much trouble at this CVS I went to another in Culver City to see if it was any better. The verdict? Night and day! Whereas the local CVS where I was a repeat customer treated me like some kind of criminal every time I came to get my medicine the one in Culver City took my insurance and gave me my medicine without any hassle whatsoever. This pharmacy has the worst customer service. If you attempt to call, expect to wait at LEAST 15 min for someone to help you. And then when someone is available to assist, they'll probably give you the impression that they're doing you a favor. In person interaction is no different. I did some shopping at Ralph's next door earlier and forgot that the remote control to my TV went dead as I have not been home much lately. Stepped in, grabbed some batteries, and headed to the check out line. There were about 4 or 5 people in line, and 2 employees working at the register but the line went by really fast. This came as a surprise as the line here is usually long and the checkout process is usually a lengthy one too. Got to the register, and as I was about to pay for my batteries I decided to also get some Recess Peanut Butter Cups. Figured I might as well get some more snacks. read more

This place is just about as colorful as the local Post Office, and they also sell liquor. It's a Hodge Podge of really really nice people, who are pretty damn slow at the register. The pharmacy is pretty helpful, although the waiting area seems to be mistaken for a bus stop for some of the more colorful characters of the area. It's small. The selection is low, but it's convenient and has a quaint appeal some how. Perhaps because everyone who works there really is friendly. read more

I am posting this review hoping it will prevent the same thing happen to onother person I have been using this pharmacy for a while and altough they are not too friendly I get my medication from there but this past week they did something completely unacceptable and yet very dangerous they put my life at risk on friday October 1st I got a call from my doctor telling me that I had tested positive for the H Pilory bacteria but unfortunately it was at very advance stage so we had to treat it aggressive and that he had already sent CVS the prescriptions so to go get them and start the treatment at once wich I did however my symptoms did not improve much so yesterday talking to my doctor he realized that CVS did not give the complete list of medications they omitted the most important of the antibiotics so I went to CVS and much to my dismay the chief pharmacist acted like whatever she said well you did not take it because you did not want to it's been sitting here in the shelf for 7 days I could not believe my ears I told her that my treatment may not work because of their mistake and her reply was well sir what can I tell you do want it ir not and I could see the staff smiling and giggling no wonder they don't care if they put people's life in danger they follow the bosses example now my liver is reacting in a bad way please who ever reads this don't trust that pharmacy always double check the list of your meds because in my case the consequences of their stupid and careless mistake could end up putting my life in jeopardy and I really want to denounce the attitude of the chief pharmaceutical leader such careless and disregard and disrespectful attitude towards a human life they put my life in danger because of their stupid and careless mistake..... read more

Do not get your prescriptions filled here. Even though they should be able to fill prescriptions in 24-48 hours, it takes them a week, for no reason. When you call to ask when they'll be ready, they keep you on hold for a long, long time. Then, they have a lame excuse like: "They haven't arrived yet." If you do get prescriptions filled here, make sure you order refills over a week in advance. read more

This review is regarding pharmacist Adrienne Vu's joke of a "consultation" she provided. All she told me in her 2 second consultation was that the prescription provided would result in drowsiness. Before I could even ask a question, she couldn't be more dismissive and walk away fast enough. I literally I had to raise my voice to get her to respond to my first question. After that quick question, she tried to avoid further engagement and walk away again. I even told her "Sorry, but I still have questions and obviously you're in a rush". YET, even after I told her this, she did this again with the 2 additional questions I had each time. When she did answer the questions, they were very short, curt answers. It doesn't take much effort to be present, ask your customer if she/he has any additional questions or concerns and basically pretend like you even care a little bit. You're the manager at this pharmacy for God's sake. Set an example. read more

Wow. Worst service ever. Was checked out by a brunette, slightly overweight girl at 7:30 pm 1/30/2016. Had a complete attitude when I asked her to speak louder because she was literally mumbling under her breath. Was totally sarcastic and rude and had a disgruntled look on her face the whole time. Didn't even say thank you when I finished my transaction and instead just yelled "NEXT" when she handed me my receipt. Truly terrible customer service. There is always a long wait when I go to this pharmacy even if there's only one person in the line ahead of me! The technicians usually have trouble finding my prescription even though I have received multiple automated texts that it is ready. I give them my ID so there should be no trouble finding my last name. The few times when I don't have my Rx number with me and I need to request a refill, I've been on hold on the phone for over 20 minutes! This is the most conveniently located CVS for me, but I am going to take my business elsewhere! read more

This place is horrible and if there was something closer that took my insurance, I'd go there. They routinely mess up my medication refill dates for a chronic and debilitating condition. The line is out the door, and I've been in line for 30 minutes just to pick up already paid for prescriptions last time one person was on the register while the other took a fifteen minute call that we all listened to because none of us were helped. I hate coming here, the checkout always takes half an hour and is ridiculous. They need to either hire adequate staff in numbers that allows CVs to meet their performance obligations or refuse service once they've hit capacity to be efficiently helpful. Often, rx can not be filled and have to call my dr to send somewhere else. So unhelpful. Three people In Front of me since I have been waiting for their prescriptions to be filled since Friday. My showed being "in progress" for multiple hours only to call them and find they never began processing it. This "my" CVS and "my" pharmacy. The pharmacist, Shannon is so nice and helpful. She takes her time to explain and help understand what the doctor is doing. When you're my age (bearly old, so new to meds and navigating thru quirky doctors)...you need a girlfriend to help you along! David is cool too and all the girls on the admin team are great. Not too friendly, never stop moving, don't get upset when people are frustrated (which is a lot). So sorry if you have to wait in line to pay for batteries and cheetos. This could possibly be the worst CVS store out there and I am a frequent CVS shopper and I've been to several of them all around. Today I went in with my mother and as usual there were the same employees; two of which are really sweet. HOWEVER, the assistant manager there, Jimmy Thompson lll, is the worst employee there. Today, I was waiting in line to be checked out and a lady in front of us was trying to return an item without a receipt and she had already used the product. I understand that you can't return something like that but this Jimmy guy was SOOOOO RUDE!! He then actually gave her the return and all but after she left he gave the most racist remark I've ever heard in customer service. He said that she should speak English because this is America and he then called her stupid. I think he should have refrained himself from looking a fool in front of a line full of customers.
