    Brunch special: krabby daddy benedict
    Shannon L.

I love Cycle Dogs! Stay tuned to their Instagram for specials during the week and for brunch on weekends. All the food is vegan and delicious, and they recently expanded their cocktail/mocktail/drink options. Everyone who works there is super kind and accommodating. The drink menu is physically on the table, you scan a QR code to pull up the food menu, but you order from a server at your table you came to check in on us and refill water and coffee. They have outdoor seating for when the weather is nice and you can also do to go! Both breakfast burritos are delicious, love the French Tourist. I've yet to try the pancakes or chicken & waffles but it's on my list! And for dinner I love any type of loaded fries they have, and the elote dog is always a winner. Also first place I ever had mac n cheese on a burger!

Wow this food is amazing. We had a bit of a difficult time finding cycle Dogs, didn't realize it is in the back of the brewery. Had a trash can dog and it was excellent. We'll definitely be back

The only fried pickle I got in my delivery
    J D.

Oh cool Cycle dogs has fried pickles on the menu as a special - unfortunately I only received one fried pickle at the bottom of my delivery bag, that was all that arrived. When ordering delivery I only have about 40% confidence in my order being made correct and not having missing items. Some days it's worth the risk, other days it's not.

Delicious creative vegan fast food items! Tried the Seattle Dog ($9.20) and Pretzel Cowboy Burger ($14, Saturday Special). They were both super tasty and hearty. Loved all the individual components of the two items! Good amount if indoor seating and outdoor seats to sit at.

The food was okay - it sure is edible but nothing really great about it! If you are looking for vegan fast food joint, this could be the one! The pickle spears were super oily and that was a total bummer. The chickin sandwich was good The mock tails were totally worth a try ! They have a happy hour menu as well. Their online menu changes couple of times a day. Overall I wouldn't go back to this place again

Rise & Shine burrito with sausage, and a side of collard greens added

Located in the heart of Ballard just off Market St, this is now their brick-and-mortar location. I came for weekend brunch. This is the place for vegan junk breakfast and brunch items, so don't come here if you're looking for a healthy meal. I got the Rise & Shine burrito ($14 plus tax) and added a side of collard greens ($4 plus tax), and a coffee (bottomless). The food took a little while to come out -- maybe 20 minutes -- but I had plenty of coffee to warm the stomach. -The burrito itself was decent, albeit simple, coming with nicely seasoned vegan sausage, firm tofu and tofu scramble, roasted potatoes, and vegan cheese, served with a mild salsa on the side and some tortillas. 3.5/5 -The collard greens were not great: very sour and bitter. I struggled these down to be honest. This dish needs to be re-thought out. 2/5 Service was very friendly and reasonably attentive despite them seeming short-staffed. All in all, I wouldn't rush back, but if you're staying in Ballard, I'm not sure how many other vegan-friendly brunch spots there are.

I am so in love with this place!!! The Seattle dog was so so delicious! I cannot wait to try everything else! The food was properly packed and the portion sizes are good. The relish and other toppings were the perfect addition to slice through the dog and make every bite perfect!

Seattle Dog - 4.5/5, recommend hot sauce with it, cannot tell the difference compared to real meat BLT - 4.5/5, ingredients fresh, again cannot tell the difference between vegan bacon and real bacon in this sandwich, plus liked the vegan bacon more cuz it's lighter Fries - 2/5, too crunchy and way too salty for me, somewhat saved by the dipping sauces, but I wouldn't order em again Ambiance was nice, decor is nice, our server was kind and attentive.

Breakfast burrito, chips and pepita salsa

Finally made it to the brick and motor iteration after loving the food truck at Peddler (rip). It's a really cute spot with seating inside and out. I treated myself to a solo brunch and was not disappointed. Got one of the breakfast burritos and loved the pepita salsa with the house made chips. Also had a mimosa and beer. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and still wearing masks which is kind. I took half my burrito home for later as the portion was a decent size. I really appreciate the mix of NA mocktail options along with creative cocktails and would love to come back for a happy hour. I think one of my only points of sadness is that there's not more variety in the brunch menu, but understand it's probably easier to keep it limited to certain times.

    Animal fries! - delicious
    Anu P.

Love them! I am a picky eater when it comes to plant based meat options and I never thought I would like a plant based hot dog and boy was I wrong! These guys make it so good! We tried the Elote hot dog - it was the best thing I have had in the last few days. It was a hot dog topped with elote. The portion size was generous. MUST HAVE for anyone that like elote/corn and/or craving for an amazing vegan hot dog Animal fries These are like the animal fries you get in In-N-out burgers but more fancier . These are fries topped with an amazing sauce (think mayo+ketchup+paprika) and grilled onions The portion size is huge- we ordered a small but it was good enough to be shared. The place has both indoor and outdoor seating. You can order via your phone from your seat and they bring the food out to you. The servers are friendly and warm. The place has ample street parking. So glad I found this place in Seattle where I can get good vegan fast food!!

Great vegan fast food. Big Mick, French Tourist and Breakfast Burritos are all awesome.

    Corn dogs

I was pleasantly surprised about this place. I didn't realize it was a vegan restaurant until I saw the menu. The faux meat are actually really good and tasted good. I wouldn't say they tasted or have the exact texture of meat, but good food nonetheless. The corn dog was good, which there was more breading. The fries themselves were nice and not soggy. The waiter though, he was the best! We brought our dog and he was so kind to our dog and gave him some water. Loved him!

Simple dog & hangry style fries

Overall not a bad spot but I don't get what all the hype is about We had a party of 3 for an early Wednesday dinner. It wasn't busy at all so we were seated right away. You scan a QR code at the table to view the menu, order food, and pay; food is brought out as it's ready. Staff was very nice on our visit. I got the simple dog and modified it to spice it up (added sauerkraut, mustard, mayo, relish). One friend got the elote dog and the other got the spicy Chik'n sandwich - they both liked 'em. We also got a large order of the hangry style fries to share - I would pass on them next time, way too much onion for my taste (to each their own!). The weekday menu isn't extensive but allowing to customize the dogs can get you what you're looking for. I don't think this is anything too special honestly but it's nice to see a vegan spot thriving. Maybe if the menu gets more fun I'll return one day. Current covid practices: show vaccination card upon arrival, staff wear masks.

This was my first farmer's market in Washington and it was utterly magical!…read more The produce quality is so amazing and I loved all the variety! The flowers were beyond beautiful. I don't think I have seen more beautiful blooms anywhere else! I love that it was heavily focused on local small businesses, farmers, and FOOD. We stopped for a few bites along the way and were blown away every time. So good. This market is huge and stretches for a few blocks, so be sure to come early and give yourself ample time to explore. Also, with it being in Ballard, there are a ton of cool, hipster shops to browse while you're in the area.

Ballard Farmers Market was my favorite farmers market in the greater Seattle area for many years…read more Recently, the booth count seems to be less than before, with restaurants occupying the street space (understandably) along two blocks. Subsequently, I lost some interest since I don't live nearby. While I was in Ballard on a recent Sunday, I rushed to the market to see if it was still open. Officially, it was not; they closed at 2pm. But they were still packing up. I believe they are not allowed to sell after the official closing time; I asked one vendor, they declined. The staff wants the streets to reopen as soon as possible. As I walked the two blocks, several vendors still have some items on display on their tables. With a bit of wink, wink, accidentally dropping cash on the table and accidentally taking things off the table, I walked away with goodies. I won't say what I bought to avoid anyone getting into trouble. Street parking was easy enough nearby on a Sunday.
