We came here to celebrate Peruvian Independence Day and loved every second of it. We got there around 640 and it wasn't filled yet so we were seated immediately. Right after we placed our order it started getting packed. Our food was brought to our table so quick that it shocked us. Every single bite was so appetizing and we just couldn't get enough. Our server was kind and very attentive to our needs to the point where we ended up ordering food to go for our families. The place was spacious and the music just reminded you of growing up Peruvian. I will definitely be going back !

Great local spot with big portions. Service was great. Food was fresh and delicious. If you like Peruvian food and in the area I highly recommend you stop in. They have live entertainment on n that evening so it can get a little loud if your trying to have conversations. Check out some of the dishes! Only disappointment is no desserts so be aware of that.

The best chaufa in Bergen county!!! Bursting in flavor! The portion size is huge definitely enough to feed 2-4 hungry people! This will keep you full for hours & the flavors are immaculate! The customer service is great, the staff are very friendly & if you are looking for a place with live music while you eat this is it! Highly recommend checking it out for a flavorful meal

So this D'carbon opened up just a few months ago and I've been to their other two locations in Paterson but I think I like this one the best. Went in on a Thursday night around 6:30pm and there were maybe just 2 or 3 other tables occupied. They had happy hour going on so I tried their maracuyá (passion fruit) margarita and it was delicious and only $5. My friend and I tried the lomo saltado and the chaufa and pollo a la brasa. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and the steak for the lomo was tender and well-seasoned. Service and prices are good so I can't really think of any cons. Will definitely be back soon to try other dishes.

Great food and ambiance, at a reasonable price. Could do without the valet parking though.

I enjoyed the food. Lomo saltado and arroz chaufa are great! Red sangria and the margaritas are the best!

It was our first time at La Nueva Hispana and it was pretty empty for a Saturday afternoon but I…read morethink it was because it's not that well known. The place is at the same location where previously a Thai restaurant was and it has the option of stairs or a ramp for those with disabilities as well as an awning that's inviting and protects from rain. Now once you enter the restaurant is really clean with a modern leaf wall and the Nueva Hispana restaurant name in a neon sign. Lots of mirrors on the walls give the place a feel that is bigger as well as large windows. Large TV with salsa music playing. The service was very good and fast we ordered a $15.50 Milanese chicken breast (chicken cutlet) with French fries (they were really crispy and freshly made!) with a side salad in a tasty dressing. We also ordered Pescado a lo macho ( a traditional Peruvian dish of fish filet with seafood in a creamy sauce) with a side of yuca and salad for around $21-23. Overall the sauces were really tasty place is modern and clean with linen napkins, not paper, and good service worth stopping by and trying some delicious Peruvian food. Tip: no parking but lots of street parking. Also, no 1/2 or 1/4 rotisserie chicken meal that Peruvian restaurants are known for.

I've only been here once, so I'm not going to trash the place over a single visit. The food was OK,…read moreand I'd give it a second chance since it seems popular with other people. That said, my experience was not great. The TV was loud when we arrived, and the music coming from the kitchen competed with it, making conversation difficult. I asked for the TV to be turned down, and they did, but when a young kid came in later, the hostess turned The Flintstones up loud again, so once again it was hard to hear each other. More importantly, we clearly marked "no eggs" on the menu and told the waitress about an egg allergy, but the chicken fried rice still came with egg. After we pointed it out, with the menu I had written on still at the counter, the dish was taken back and returned with bits of egg still in it, which made it seem like the egg had just been hand picked out instead of the dish being remade. Also, ask for tap water unless you want to be charged for bottled Poland Spring. Overall, the food was decent, but the noise and the way the egg issue was handled made for a disappointing visit.
