Got here at 5:30 on a Thursday. As soon as we were seated water glasses were filled a basket of bread was brought over and our drink order was taken. I was planning to get something from the menu but changed my mind when the waiter said Soft Shell Crabs. When that is one of the specials I will continue to order it. That will probably be the next few times that I return here. The way Giorgio prepares it is unique. Read my reviews to see. By 7:00 pm it was quite loud since every table was filled. You know I'll be back. Sal E. New Rochelle

Nice bang for your buck. This place makes some of the best pasta dishes I have ever had. 10/10 foodgasm. The Cavatelli Casareccia is something that is worth breaking a diet over. Their veal martini fish is cooked to perfection. The service is exceptional. The dining room is very narrow with a table of 4 on each side of the isle. The downsides: They do not have a bar and their house wines were underwhelming. The restaurant can get very noisy because there is nothing to dampen the sound from bouncing off the floors and wood floors. There are stains all over the ceiling.

This location is next door to the Club Pilates I visited. I got a to go order but the place was packed . I saw the food that was coming out being served and it looks amazing. The spot is a great casual date night place!

After sitting in my bookmarks for years, I have finally made it to Da Giorgio. I first discovered this spot when chef-owner Giorgio Giacinto competed on Chopped - he's originally from the Bronx so he stood out to me. Since then, my parents had been here a few times with great things to say, which only further persuaded me to visit. My opportunity finally came when we decided to celebrate my brother's birthday here with Sunday dinner - so off we went. Da Giorgio is located in the North Ridge Shopping Center, a small strip of stores among a few local businesses. It's not a large space, especially when comparing it to other restaurants in Westchester. The layout is rectangular with tables lining the perimeter - I would say there were 20 or so tables in the entire restaurant. The decor is mostly Earth tones with lots of Italian accents and medium wood finishes. They play a combination of English, Spanish, and Italian music which adds to the atmosphere without overpowering the aesthetic. The menu is separated by apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. They make their pastas fresh, so I decided to splurge and divulge in some carbs - but first, apps. We decided to split three: the spicy calamari Calabrese and two specials: the eggplant stack and the grilled peaches. All of the apps were really tasty; the peppers added an extra layer to the calamari to make it stand out from the obligatory fried calamari on the menu of every Italian restaurant known to man. The eggplant was tender and the red sauce it was in was full of flavor. The peaches were wrapped in prosciutto, and served with mozzarella on a bed of arugula drizzled in balsamic. For my main, the lasagna Calabrese was speaking to me - the pasta was tender and the layers were embedded with mini meatballs. The flavorful marinara really brought it together - it was a solid dish. Service was great - everyone was super friendly and attentive. Overall, I had a great experience at Da Giorgio. I'm generally wary of Italian restaurants in Westchester, but they have proved to be an exception to the norm. The food is delicious, the service is great, and I would definitely return for another meal.

Anytime you find yourself in Westchester County, specially in New Rochelle, check this place out…read more for Lunch or Dinner. It is a very quiet place, cousy and very romantic. Anytime, I find myself in, and I am in a lot, it feels like in a boat, a special place, private in a cruise boat... The food is composed of Italian and South American dishes, a very rare combination that gives a lot of choices of very delicious meals... The service is super great, they are very patient, knowing it is very difficult to choose from the great diversity. What a hidden gem!…read more My cousin was in a play recently, and another family member was researching where should we go for a linner - and stumbled upon 179 Main. From a current Westchester resident, my sister, mom and I were hesitant to go , but we were proved wrong that it was a great restaurant. We were a party of 7, and we all felt cared for, the staff was understanding, and attentive from the moment we sat down to leave. Each member in my party had something diffferent: 1. Chicken sandwich 2. Burger 3. Ahi tuna tacos 4. Carbonora (x2) 5. Chicken capricossa 6. Chicken Parm - and even accommodated vodka sauce instead of regular marinara sauce. Wine was nicely poured, cocktails were tasty (although I didn't love my raspberry martini) beer was cold. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and welcoming. Will be coming back ASAP!

The restaurant is small and cozy. Large metal chandeliers adorn the ceilings and it has an upscale, rustic vibe with candles on the tables. Their menu is enticing. It's Italian inspired, but has lots of variety beyond the classic dishes. The appetizers were fantastic. The crispy artichokes were airy and melted in your mouth. The brussel sprouts were deliciously crispy with a pleasantly sweet sauce. I enjoyed the pistachios on them. The eggplant fries were a unique offering and very tasty topped with crumbled parmesan cheese. They would've been even better with a dipping sauce. For my main, I had the mushroom ravioli. The sauce was rich and creamy and it was topped with sharp parmesan and arugula. I enjoyed it, but the portion size was quite small, as the dish only included four pieces of ravioli. My husband got the black linguine and enjoyed the accompanying cream sauce with shrimp and lobster. To drink, I had the queen margherita, which was nice and tangy from the passion fruit. The waiters were great about refilling our water. The entrees took a little while to come out, but overall service was good. Definitely looking forward to coming back!

I also ordered the Greek salad which was decent. Hubby ordered baked clams and they were to die for. He also ordered the chicken Parmesan which was okay. It's not the best I've had but it was so so. I wouldn't order it again. Honestly, it was the version I would have made at home: fried chicken cutlet with melted mozzarella cheese on top. Nothing fancy. The best chicken parmigiana I've had has been at Peppino's in Katonah, NY and T & J in Port Chester, NY.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, and you can specify your preference when booking. To start, we shared the mozzarella e pomodoro. The burrata was nice and creamy, but the portion size was on the smaller side. I loved the insalada di pere. The pears and gorgonzola paired well together and the champagne vinaigrette gave it a pleasant sweetness. My family also enjoyed the calamaretti fritti.
