We ordered the Strawberry Cream Oat Matcha, the Lychee Jasmine Tea, and the Einspänner Latte. The Strawberry Cream Oat Matcha was an easy 10/10 according to my daughter..and trust me, she's tried just about every strawberry matcha out there. My husband ordered the Lychee Jasmine Tea. His first reaction was that it was a little too sweet, but once the ice melted a bit, he said it was perfect. Then there was the Einspänner Latte... I don't know what was in that latte, but the caffeine hit me after the first sip. The flavor and sweetness were BOLD (to say the least), and I swear the caffeine was off the charts...and that's coming from someone who drinks coffee every day. I really wanted to keep drinking it because it was so good, but I just couldn't. My body was like, "Absolutely not." She was STRONG. I saved the rest, hoping the melted ice would mellow it out a bit, but it was still strong the next morning! I just noticed you can choose the caffeine strength on the menu, so I'll definitely be trying that next time. Needless to say, we'll be back!

I am so happy this place is next to the banh mi place i like to go to too. I got the ube coffee cream in a large. I used the kiosk and it was ready in a few minutes. It was the perfect lunch time pick me up. It was perfectly sweet and it helped me work throughout the day. It was super clean and simply decorated. I defintiely would come back to work there too.

This is purely on my preference. For context, I am a coffee drinker. I drink coffee everyday. Not your typical watery ice coffee. I drink Vietnamese drip coffee everyday. The darker and thicker the better. I end my work day with 2 cokes. Caffeine is in my blood, my mom trained me at 7 hahahah (not kidding). I don't know what coffee they use here. But theirs causes me to be uncomfortable. Like chest palpitations and this weird feeling in my chest I can't describe it. No but really tell me so I can avoid it in the future! With that said drink at your own risk. The coffee tastes good, it's flavorful. Not as sweet as I like it but creamy and rich. The foam on top is delicious. If I could just have that I'd be happy. If you are coming from Rosemead Blvd. You cannot turn left into the plaza. I got parking right in front with no issues. Customer service is definitely lacking. Came in and basically it was: give your order, pay and leave. This was my first (and last) time here. I also got a lychee jasmine tea. That was delightful. It saved this from being a lower rating.

ORDER einspanner cream & cocoa powder topped over vietnamese iced coffee ($6): 7.5/10 i ordered through the kiosk. vietnamese coffee tends to be quite strong and i can be sensitive to caffeine, so i appreciated the option to have my drink prepared less strong. TURNAROUND TIME the turnaround time was quick when i visited on memorial day before 11 am. SPACE & SEATING the interior design and furnishings of the cafe lean warm brutalist. there are a few tables that can seat 2-3 as well as an oblong table tucked away in the corner that can seat a larger party of 5-6. there are 2 gender neutral restrooms are available to visitors.

More and more Vietnamese coffee options available in town and they all start expanding and getting more accessible! Da Vien isn't an exception with more outlets across town now. Offering large-sized cup, it's pretty good deal for what you get. Bold coffee taste yet balanced with creaminess from the milk. I personally would go with Marble one given the Vietnamese one prolly's bit too strong for me. But if you're more into the really strong one, it's def the right pick! Got our orders for to-go, and I could finish the cup in probably 3 rounds LOL. Highly recommend online pre order since there might be line during busy hours.

This is the third Da Vien location I've visited after the Westminster and Garden Grove spots and the coffee quality has been consistently solid (+ strong) every time. I usually go for the egg coffee or strawberry tea, but this visit I decided to try the sesame latte ($6). The coffee itself was bold and strong as always which I appreciate. I just wish the black sesame flavor stood out a little more, but overall it was still tasty and gave me the perfect energy boost. Highly suggest ordering online for pick up - quick and convenient!

WOW EGG CREAM VIETNAMESE COFFEE!?!? Need I say more??? My husband got the banana cream on his. If you know this coffee you know it is dangerously strong. This did not disappoint. Super packed upon arrival. Now we understand why! Matcha looks like what they are pretty popular for. They import their matcha. I need to go back to try it! They have seating inside (limited) and some tables outside. Bit of a newer store, but the buzz about it looks like they have a following. My coffee was soooo strong it made me do all the things!! Normally I get my fix from lee's...... this place is now REPLACING THAAAAT. Soooo yummy QUICK SERVICE and you can mobile order ahead also use their app for points towards free drinks. I highly recommend installing their application if you do not already have it. This will allow you to place mobile orders, which can help you avoid lengthy queues. A significant benefit of providing your phone number is the opportunity to receive their promotional offers. The queue was not as extensive as during the previous promotion, but a considerable number of individuals were certainly awaiting their banana lattes. I definitely enjoyed their banana latte!

Da Vien is a well known modern Vietnamese coffee shop from Orange County, and so glad they made it to SGV. They have REALLY strong caffeine in their coffee and matcha drinks! Like won't sleep until 2am strong, if that's up your alley. There's usually a crowd on the weekends so expect to wait around 15 min. The bustling atmosphere is a good sign of how much people love this spot. My favorite drinks incorporate ube, though I like to lower the sweetness and ice (there's a ton of ice normally). Unfortunately, the strawberry cream top on my matcha tasted artificial and overly sweet.

My favorite place to get Vietnamese coffee in this area has been Da Vien. It is a little out of the way, closer to the 60 freeway, but ordering on the app is very convenient. I also love that I'm earning points with my purchases. They often have BOGO deals on a random weekday between 2-4 PM. These are really nice deals but who drinks strong coffee in the middle of the day T.T They are certainly expanding as I saw on Instagram that they are opening a new location in norCal (Milipitas?) as well as Alhambra now.

i come here so often and i've always had good experiences coming, now i came today. I was helped with a girl she was dark curly hair. didn't catch her name, so that's the reason im describing her, but everything was fine as she took my order then it came time as she re called my name and rather said it in a aggressive way and just gave such a bothered look... ? i was very much confused to why..? but yeah definitely recommend she learns better customer service or something. other then that drinks are pretty good here. read more

Da Vien Coffee is such a gem in Rosemead. My partner ordered the banana latte and absolutely loved it and I had the sesame latte which made me so happy. Sesame is my favorite flavor and I have not been able to find a good sesame drink since Honey Boba used to sell it years ago. It has been such a long time since I found one that was this good and Da Vien really delivered. I also love that they let you customize the sweetness so you can get your drink exactly how you like it. The vibes here are fantastic. The space is filled with plants and has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It feels perfect for a book lover who wants to relax or for anyone looking for a calm spot to study. Yum! I got the banana cream coffee and it was really good definitely one of my favorites I've had in a while. I like how you can adjust the coffee strength since I don't like too strong of a coffee flavor. The service was pretty good, I say this because they're very quick even though there's a long line the drinks came out in 5-10 minutes. The ambiance is okay, I think it's cute but there's just too many people there to enjoy it but I may have come at a busy time. The milk tasted like the Korean packaged banana milk, the strawberry jam was so sweet and you didn't taste the matcha at all. It tasted like banana milk with a hint of strawberry. I liked the matcha cream top coffee as it was full of flavour and fragrant in the coffee aroma. We ordered the egg coffee hot, ube cream latte (only iced), and ube latte. I tried the egg coffee and the ube cream latte. Both were pretty good. The ube latte was spot on and hit the spot. Finally opened! Despite how popular and busy they are, their drinks come out fast!! The options of ordering in line, at the kiosk, or online make things so convenient. Both times I've been have been packed, but I've waited for less than 5 min before I hear my name call. Ube Cream Coffee is my fave bc you can actually taste the ube instead of overly sweet white chocolate which I usually experience with ube drinks. I wouldn't order over 50% sweetness though bc if you know Viet coffee, you know it's STRONG and SWEET. I would also recommend the Black Sesame and Egg Cream Coffees, too... honestly they're all good. The flavor is pronounced and the coffee is strong. The parking lot is big, but shared with other businesses. When it gets busy, the parking lot gets a bit dicey, so be patient or bring a friend to pick up the drinks. read more

I went during their soft opening which will be until June 27th and their hours are from 9-2 (they aren't open Saturday and Sunday). The line was fairly quick, I got there at 1 pm and it was really crowded and packed in the store but I waited about 10 minutes in line. Waiting for the drink was quick though; about 5 minutes. Despite it being crowded and the staff being overwhelmed, the cashier was still kind and informative to any questions I had. Their drinks never disappoint and is super delicious! My favorites would be their Da Vien coffee or Marble Drip (aka Bac Xiu). I wouls definitely say its worth the wait! read more

The line was out the door when I went but it moves really quickly. They also have kiosk ordering as well. I ordered the ube matcha latte and it was pretty good. I wish they put less of the ube cream and more matcha instead. There were also a good amount of seating inside the store. They also have a shared parking lot but parking might be hard to find depending on when u go. read more

I've been pretty good excited & anxiously waiting for Da Vien to open in SGV to see what the hype was all about. However I was a little disappointed when I made a visit today. There's a video circulating online that drinks were $1 for the soft opening from June 16 - June 27. Come to find out it's not true. Despite the chaos & the false advertising, the interior is clean & modern, staff was friendly, and the drinks are good. Parking is small & seats are very limited. Tip or advice is, if you can, order online prior to your arrival and/or order on the kiosk to avoid waiting in line. read more

Management needs to figure their shit out lol. I feel bad for the workers and people who went today. Some random tiktoker who went to their friends and family baited people into thinking Da Vien's doing $1 drink during soft opening. That's totally untrue and Da Vien should've clarified that on their social media. I ordered mine at 10:09am, app says ready by 10:14, and didn't get my drinks until 10:30. They also had a bunch of people just waiting because the workers kept calling names and not numbers so people didn't know how long they need to wait. Drinks were good and workers did their best but it's not worth going. What a f**king shit show it was this morning. read more

Order online and your drink will literally be out within 5 minutes. The drinks were good. I got the ube matcha, egg coffee, coconut blend, and ube coffee. The parking and location may be difficult so just be wary for that. I just parked on the street across. Service was quick and easy, I saw my drinks ready and picked it up. Love Da Vien coffee! Very glad they opened a location closer to LA. Their drinks are always consistent and tastes great. The workers are friendly and welcoming! Prices are affordable, fair and even better when they have bogo promos! Definitely download the app to order ahead and earn rewards towards free drinks. They do get pretty busy so ordering ahead helps to avoid waiting. Parking gets full but there's street parking also. My fav drinks would be the Ube Cream Coffee, Banana Matcha, Ube Matcha & Da Vien Coffee. read more

Favorite coffee stop in the SGV--used to have to drive all the way out to OC, so I'm beyond happy they're here now! From catching up with friends to quick work coffee runs, this has become our go-to spot for that perfect "wake me up" boost. The service is impressively efficient, especially considering how busy they get, and the staff always keeps things moving smoothly. There are not that many places that do Vietnamese coffee, let alone a place that does it well with reasonable prices, but this is one of them. I've had the marble coffee and it's got a great rich coffee flavor, mixed with nutty and slightly chocolat-y flavor with the classic condensed milk and mixed with ice. I've seen Viet coffee cost upwards of $8-9 for a cup, and so it is refreshing to see it only cost $5-6 for the time being for good quality Viet coffee. I will need to try their other options, including the matcha series as well as their other coffee varieties, but it's going to be hard to choose anything else with how good the marble was! read more

Absolutely believe the hype. Everything that I have gotten here has been really good but my favorite is the Matcha with coconut water. It is so refreshing and delicious every time I have come here there has been literally no line and I think the drinks come out relatively fast, especially since they have a online or tablet ordering system, and you could order with the barista as well. I like ordering on the tablet so I could see what everything is and I could leisurely look at what everything is and what it looks like, but I don't think you could go wrong with anything that you choose here. I ordered the matcha coconut drink. It was really delicious. Definitely on the sweet side so I would consider that if you are cutting down on the sugar. As someone who's a huge fan of Vietnamese culture and food, I've always been excited to try spots that promise authentic flavors and unique experiences -- so finally getting to visit Da Vien Coffee in Rosemead was a treat I'd been looking forward to for a while. But once I got inside and ordered, everything started to turn around. Reddit I expected my coffee to be watered down (because sometimes long lines = rushed drinks), but that couldn't be farther from the truth. The coffee was rich, bold, and full‑bodied -- exactly what I hoped for from an authentic Vietnamese café. The balance between the strong brewed coffee and the sweet cream was just right, and every sip felt satisfying, not diluted or weak at all. I genuinely love Da Vien and often visit the OC locations--it's my go-to spot for drinks! However, I'm sad to say that the Coconut Matcha left me disappointed. It had a strange aftertaste, and both the coconut and matcha flavors were lacking in strength. This was my third visit, and I had hoped the first two times were just off days due to how busy it was. Unfortunately, the experience hasn't improved. After expressing my concerns to the staff, they were very kind and offered to remake one of my other favorite drinks--the Coconut Blended Coffee. While I appreciated the gesture and their friendliness, the remake also fell short. It tasted watered down, with a bitter aftertaste and none of the rich, creamy coconut-coffee blend I've come to love. I just wanted to say that Davien makes amazing coffee, definitely some of the best I've had! I did notice, however, that BOGO days could use a bit more organization. I placed my order during the first hour of the promotion, and even though the app said it would be ready within 10 minutes, I ended up waiting over an hour just to get inside. Once inside, the counter area was crowded, which made the experience feel chaotic. One idea that might help is having a separate pickup counter with drinks prepped and labeled by first name and pickup time, so people can grab their orders more efficiently. It might also help to prioritize customers who order early, allowing them to enter ahead of those who order later. Overall, the coffee is fantastic, and I hope the ordering process can be a little more streamlined on busy promo days. read more

The coffee here is seriously good--probably one of the best I've had in a while. Smooth, flavorful, really well made. No complaints about the quality at all. But I ordered online and ended up waiting 40 minutes just to get my drink. The system was super unorganized--no clear updates, and it wasn't obvious when or where to pick up. A bunch of people were standing around confused. If you're just coming for the coffee, it's worth it. But don't expect a quick grab-and-go unless they fix the way orders are handled. read more

The drinks are okay. I got a strawberry matcha with oat milk. My only complaint about the drink was that they didn't put enough strawberry purée. It was like 5% purée. Every time I go, the service is always terrible. During my trip on 11/24 at 8am, the guy that working at the register was literally forcing me to join their rewards system when I clearly told him I wasn't interested. After telling him that I wasn't interested in joining, he gave me such terrible attitude -- it was such an uncomfortable feeling. read more

Davien Coffee is such a vibe! Just visited their new location in Rosemead today and I'm so impressed! The space is super cute and cozy, and the staff were beyond friendly, they're so welcoming and attentive. I had their Strawberry Matcha and it was amazing as always, perfectly sweet and refreshing. I enjoy their coffee drinks. Matcha is ok, slightly missing in matcha flavor. This place is very busy, parking is hard to find if you come at peak times. Lines can be long but drink turnover time is very fast. Coffee is strong as expected, I enjoy the egg cream on top of my coffee, very good. Affordable drinks would come back. Service is nice, staff is very quick considering how busy they are. read more

This place is seriously overhyped. I finally tried Da Vien Coffee and was thoroughly disappointed. The "vibe" felt forced and crowded, and honestly, every drink I sampled was overwhelmingly sweet. It's like they dumped a whole bag of sugar in each cup. If you prefer your coffee with actual coffee flavor and less of a sugar rush, look elsewhere. Not worth the hype or the cavities. read more

I stopped by Da Vien today and bought two Ube Matchas. They were a solid 10/10! The shop was busy with a lot of customers, but the staff handled it really well. They were fast, helpful, and organized. I especially want to shout out the beautiful girl with glasses who took charge, directed the others, and made sure everything ran smoothly for the customers. read more

I'm guessing this place is for retirees and kids on summer break. Basically, people that don't have jobs and have the time to stroll in ONLY on a weekday after 9:00am, BUT before 2:00pm because nobody wants coffee early in the morning or after 2:00pm because that would be absurd. read more

Da Vien more like DA TRASH. Bunch of wild animals fighting to get their drinks. Workers all look lost. Literally no one even calling the drinks and just camping around the back to make drinks. Whoever is the manager at this place should get fired. read more
