Da Vien is expanding a lot and I didn't even realize they opened a satellite spot at Stanton! This location took over an older building and has a drive through-thu window. Luckily Da Vien interior is nicely modernized , bright, clean and spacious -- so very inviting. I stopped by on a Sunday around 4 PM and it was packed with people hanging out and enjoying their drinks, which says a lot about how popular it already is. Despite the crowd, the vibe was relatively low noise level. I ordered the "popular item" marble drip latte and it was really tasty--smooth, refreshing, and still maintained a strong coffee flavor. The service was good and quick. Cool to see Da Vien growing, and this Stanton spot seems like it's already a hit.
This used to be a Lee's Sandwich so it's huge inside with a drive thru. The drive thru is poorly designed as it wraps around the building which makes it hard for parking. The spaces are on one side of the drive thru making it hard to reverse out of the spots. As you exit, you are adjacent to the drive thru line and if you got a vehicle that sticks out wide, you're stuck. I would recommend to not park in their lot and park in the outer lot to walk to the front entrance. This location doesn't serve Pandan drinks. The restroom requires a key. Next to each table and sitting area has an electrical outlet. Even the center couch has it underneath. I'm picky with my coconut blended coffee and they are still my top two places that make it to my liking. The coconut is perfectly ice blended and mixed with the coffee and topped with coconut flakes. Loved the strong creaminess and the consistent texture. Brown sugar fresh milk is the only non caffeinated drink.
First time at this location! Da Vien has been opening lots of locations lately, and it was about time given how crowded even their new locations are. GETTING HERE AND PARKING: No issues with parking WHAT I ORDERED: Strawberry cream matcha THE DRINK: Honestly, the matcha was okay. They recently switched to ceremonial grade matcha, but I kinda can't tell a difference. It definitely wasn't at a level you might expect at a smaller coffee/matcha shop, but it's not bad and the ratio was pretty good. The strawberry cream, however, was fantastic! I've had other drinks in the past with other creams, and this probably is the best one along with the ube and sesame. I'd skip on the banana, which doesn't really compare to other places that do it. Overall though, I like their egg coffee the best. SERVICE: Good service, drinks come out quick. You can order at a kiosk too. VIBES: Good for working/studying. Definitely more spacious than the Garden Grove and Little Saigon locations. Here's my work-from-coffee-shop checklist: * OUTLETS: Good number of outlets * WIFI/INTERNET: Yes, pretty good speed * BATHROOMS: Yes, have to ask them for a key * VOLUME: Not too loud * SEATING AVAILABILITY: Went on a weekend but there were still lots of seats open * LAPTOP FRIENDLINESS: No restrictions BOTTOM LINE: Pretty reliable place for drinks and getting work done.
Stopped by for a "wake up" coffee. They do open early and they do have drive thru. Plenty of parking since they have their own parking lot plus big empty parking lot behind them. Clean, big and spacious with minimal decor inside, easy & fast order. Fast turn around too, staff is nice and friendly. Great coffee too.
I've been to almost all Da Vien locations & I have to say their Stanton location is one of my faves! Very spacious & aesthetic with abundant seating and parking. My friends and I usually come here to work/study & haven't found an issue with grabbing a table on a weekday. Their drinks can be a hit or miss with the ratio of matcha/coffee base to cream top/flavor. Also more on the artificial side but the taste doesn't bother me. My go-to drinks are their banana matcha, ube matcha, and banana coffee! Their ham & cheese croissant is also a nice snack but wish they offered more food :') Honestly, a solid coffee/matcha spot that always has promos or BOGO deals if you subscribe!
I went through the drive thru and when they asked me what I would like they were yelling at another worker and we were taken aback at the unprofessionalism. The drink I had gotten was the strawberry foam oat matcha. I do not recommend the drink it was overly sweet and tasted like costco frosting after the foam was mixed in with the drink. You aren't able to taste the matcha at all in the drink. The worker also was not great at customer service I was honestly confused after I paid if I pull to the next window or what was going on. I paid and they just took their card reader and didn't say anything. It just felt awkward.
I've had Da Vien Coffee bookmarked for such long time. I finally got to try it and it did not disappoint! I ordered the DV coffee - the drink was strong and I loved the thick, rich cream on top. Yum! This place gets busy but the drinks are made pretty quickly so you don't have to wait long. The inside is very chic and clean, and they also offer both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's easy to relax whether you're hanging out or grabbing a quick break. There's even a drive-thru available if you're on the go. Parking is convenient and the restrooms are clean, which is always a plus. Da Vien Coffee is definitely worth a visit!
I stopped by Da Vien tonight because there was a Strawberry Cream Oat Matcha BOGO promotion. The drive through line was ridiculously long and the wait on the inside was long as well! Well, it was a fun experience! read more

Really excited to find Da Vien opened a Stanton location! I really, really love their drinks, but they're so far away that going there is rare. I went on grand opening day on Saturday, came really early because I wanted the aesthetic tumbler they were giving away lol. Was it worth it? Ehhhhhhhhhhh, but I was just doing errands while waiting anyway. They cutoff the giveaway line at like 7:40am;; Interior design of the store is nice! Trendy and chic. Employees were nice and fast even though they had a huge line to get through. I ordered a half sweet ube coffee and it was delicious! I love that their drinks are consistent across stores. Da Vien is very convenient since you can order online on their app plus this location has a drive thru. We came for the BOGO Banana Matcha deal. They premake their drinks, so it's ready super quick. Yesterday I came a little after 12pm. This is my second time coming to Da Viên, first time here in Stanton. When I went to GG, I got the Ube Matcha Latte. It was good but I felt it mostly tasted like Ube. I got the Coconut Matcha this time and thought it was really good since I like coconut water but definitely the matcha flavor wasn't strong. As time passed, it mixed together more I started to taste the matcha but it was really subtle. There were quite a few people in line when I ordered however the drinks were served quickly! I HIGHLY recommend to park in the external parking lot across from the store rather the ones next to the drive thru. It was my mistake because when I arrived, there wasn't anyone in line for it but when I exited, so many cars lined up and it was hard for me to get out! read more

Upon arrival,plenty of parking. Including handicap parking and easy double door entry. We were greeted by a young lady. I believe it was 10:30am, so not busy. Inside plenty of seating. We gave our order, and thats when I noticed they also had a drive thru window. Plus a kiosk for ordering. Again, we were greeted,so we placed order at register. Place is very clean,with nice foliage making tye ambience peaceful. I grabbed a house coffee, and my friend went for a speciality drink. All was very pleasant and great space for a meeting. Visited the Stanton location for the first time and it was pretty nice and spacious. There are plenty of tables, making it a great spot to study, hang out, or catch up with friends. I ordered the Banana Matcha Latte, which is delicious as alway. I also tried the Strawberry Tea, which was super refreshing and light. Ordering was quick and easy through the self-serve kiosk, and our drinks came out promptly. I'll be back! read more

For six dollars, I expect coffee, not a cup packed with ice and a splash of liquid. What I got was basically a few ounces of coffee buried under a mountain of ice. It feels like a rip-off in disguise. If I'm paying premium prices, I shouldn't be left wondering where the actual drink went. This is BS check my review on yelp for pictures of my drink. We were in the area and decided to check this place out. I had initially drove by there a few weeks back and thought I saw a drive-through however, when I pulled up to the plaza, it wasn't very clear. Therefore, I opted to park my vehicle and just walk inside. It was confirmed once inside that there is indeed a drive-through. The location itself is in a rather large plaza with ample parking, flush itself is very spacious and bring me perfect for meeting a large group of friends. Ofc we ordered the coconut coffee and my daughter ordered the strawberry Matcha. Both were good, however could have been sweeter. The barista was informing me the marble trip as a popular option not as strong version of the OG Vietnamese coffee. Maybe I'll try that next time because the coconut coffee was not hitting. I think I prefer phin smiths version instead. read more

I was curious to see what would take over after Lee's, and wow Da Vien Coffee did not disappoint! I crave their drinks now. I tried the matcha cold coffee and it's honestly one of the best I've ever had. That ham croissant? Perfecto. The line can be long, especially in the mornings, but it's totally worth the wait. There's a drive through and a good amount of seating inside! Although it does get very packed inside and out. Went with the banana creme matcha and the marble coffee. I thought the matcha flavor was really good, just needed more banana. The marble coffee had really good caramel flavor, but I thought it was just overly sweet. However, Da Vien is really good overall, have been to their other locations and have tried many other drinks, this continues to be a solid coffee spot! read more

Feb 2025 Grand opening popped off! From a live DJ playing all the hottest tunes to the desperate queue that wrapped onto Beach Blvd. with all trying to claim their schwag -- WHAT AN ENTRANCE. Lampson Square Plaza has been absolutely **transformed** with the addition of Da Vien Coffee, and I love the vibes it brings into the city. Best way to take care of your community is to put it to use. I stop by this coffee shop WAY more than I'd like to admit, and the prompt/friendly/efficient/accurate service keeps me wanting to come back for more. It's a perfect place to lock in and study or day trade. My personal favorite is the Egg Cream Coffee and a recent delicious discovery is Pandan Milk with an extra Espresso Shot. Da Vien coffee hits Beach Blvd in the old Lees building. They serve top knotch coffee and tea drinks with a unique twist. The Banana latte is a creamy delight. A nice combination of ice, milk, espresso and a banana cream froth. I also tried their regular iced coffee which had a huge kick in it which jump started my day. They open really early and close late. The drive thru moves quickly. A little birdie told me there will be another location closer to me in Cypress. read more

Came here because they went viral for the first location to have drive thru. Luckily there's not a lot of people on Saturday morning so there's no wait at all. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The store vibe is awesome too. I placed the order online so I just came to pick up just in case. I was so excited when I found out Da Vien Coffee was opening a bigger location a tad bit closer to my house. I love this location, it's so spacious, but come around on weekends and it is already packed! They have very robust Vietnamese coffee and offer a good variety of flavors. Lately I've been on a banana kick and both of their Banana Matcha and Banana Lattes are delicious! If I'm not feeling banana the Marble Drip (Bac Xiu/white coffee) and Ube Coffee are my backups! This morning the staff was super nice and helpful with my mobile order. I orders 5 drinks and it was all neatly packed in a bag with a cup holder. Unfortunately, during transit the matcha latte spilled and got all the other drinks and straws wet. I wish they would've plugged the lid opening :( Glad it was contained in the bag or else it would've gotten all over my car. read more

Located in a plaza so there's plenty of parking. At the moment this location is the only one that offers drive through which is quite convenient! The line moved fairly quickly which I appreciated even with bit of a line that wrapped around. The drive through staff was friendly and patient, double confirming my order with me. I tried the coconut matcha and it was refreshing. The matcha itself is perfectly delicious and I love that you're able to control the sweetness level. I got half sweet for my order which balanced well. My sister got the banana matcha latte and it's her new favorite drink. The banana flavor wasn't too overpowering and with the matcha it blends well together. Knowing that the matcha here hits the spot will definitely be back for it & can't wait to go back to try out the coffee & inside space as well. Went to go try this coffee spot near Westminster and this place was OK! We got the Banana Crème Matcha Latte ($6) and the Ube Matcha Latte ($7). The banana crème on the matcha coffee was really good though i wish it was more combined with the drink and the Ube Matcha Coffee was really rich and creamy, though a bit heavy! Overall this place is definitely not bad but I would probably choose another place next time for matcha. HOWEVER! This place is a great vibe for studying and I can see myself coming here a lot if I lived closer. Its hard to find places with tables and good vibes to study. read more

They also have a drive thru here which is so convenient. I tried the matcha coffee and it was delicious. Their coffee is good and sweet but the matcha creme on top was the best part. I love Da Vien! If you like Vietnamese coffee or matcha, you gotta give this place a try. They have 3 locations right now and this location is newest. This location is convenient because of the drive thru! I would suggest ordering online and picking up (if you're doing take out). Service is great all the staff are friendly and helpful if you need suggestions. I've tried many drinks and some of my fav are the egg coffee (it's a classic and I feel it's "how they first blew up" but just my opinion), coffee with Ube or matcha creais good too! I wish they had a pandan one! Their marble drip is good too! For matcha, I love their banana matcha or just regular iced matcha is good too. My friends and I lovingly call Da Vien "the thick coffee place"--and for good reason. The drinks are rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. I've had the banana matcha latte, egg cream coffee, and ube cream coffee, and they never disappoint. We'll literally drive 20-30 minutes just to get our fix! I've been to all the locations, but the Stanton one with the new drive-thru is by far my favorite. It's super convenient, and I was genuinely impressed by how fast the service was--even with a long line. Plus, they have cute outdoor seating, which is a nice bonus if you want to chill there for a bit. Their food and desserts are just as good. The ham and Swiss sandwich is so tasty--honestly better than 7 Leaves. And the bingsoo (Korean shaved ice) at the Garden Grove location is a must-try. Everything is flavorful, generously portioned, and priced right. Another plus: parking is never an issue at any of the locations, which makes the whole experience even smoother. They also offer bottled sized drinks so you can take the Da Vien magic home with you. Sure, they're always busy--but that's just a sign of how good they are. I love that they made a drive through. I've been wanting to try their matcha for a while and they definitely live up to the hype! The drive through wrapped around the building and took around 20 minutes. Their matcha is super rich in flavor. I got the banana matcha and it was such a great combination of flavors. The banana cream was so delicate and sweet. The coconut matcha was nice and refreshing. It's nice because you can adjust the sweetness. Make sure to mix the drink well! This is currently my favorite Da Vien location I came here the day after grand opening and was impressed by how organized it was. I love that they have an online order option and soon a drive through to make things more convenient. But if you want to stand in line it goes pretty quickly. I usually get some sort of matcha here and I like that they have different versions. Surprisingly my favorite is their black sesame matcha latte with oat milk. But if you prefer coffee, their egg coffee is really good. And you can adjust your sweetness and ice level. The inside is casual but nice. It can get noisy but theres a few chairs, tables and sofa for you to hang out. It has a cool vibe. Parking is easy since it shares a lot with the old grocery store that closed down. read more

Some of the best Vietnamese coffee I have had in a very very long time! We got the regular large and egg cream. Crushed ice, strong coffee and the cream was egg-cellent! So glad this closer location opened up and was excited to try the drive through after the gym. However, the line wrapped around the building! We just parked and went inside to order but it was crowded as well. Since the people at the register were taking quite a bit of time, we decided to use the self order kiosk which also had a line. Matcha drinks were good as usual but I'm not sure why the regular matcha was shorted in volume vs the black sesame matcha. This doesn't happen at the Garden Grove location. I definitely recommend just heading to that location for quicker service and full drinks! read more

Congrats to Da Vien on their 3rd newest location! Iykyk, Da Vien is my #1 favorite coffee shop everrr, so when they announced their newest location, best believe I'm sprinting there. Parking: Ignore parking in front of the shop bc it'll be difficult to leave since it's only one way (you'll have to exit through the drive thru). They're located alongside a large plaza with plenty of parking, so I'd suggest parking on that side instead. Ambiance/Environment: This location is their first ever DRIVE THRU! Don't worry, you can still come in-person and order if you prefer that. The interior is so spacious compared to their other locations. I love the decor and how clean it is. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Perfect for a study session, coffee date, & simple hangout. Service: Everyone was sweet, quick & efficient! Throughput was quick after ordering. Drinks: I've tried every drink from their menu. Their Vietnamese coffee is absolutely strong & creamy, and their foam is thiccckkk. When I want a Viet coffee, THIS is what I mean by Viet coffee. My go-to is the Egg Cream Coffee! I also love all their matcha drinks; tastes premium & sweet. When I want something refreshing, I usually get one of their iced teas or Coconut Matcha. Everything I drank: 1) Egg Cream Coffee 2) Salted Coffee 3) Lychee Jasmine Tea 4) Coconut Matcha 5) Banana Matcha Latte Pricing: Decent prices for coffee $$. In this inflated economy, $5-7 is average price now. Of course, their coffee is worth it. Best believe I'll be back for more! read more

Been to their other store in Westminster years ago and recognized the name. I drove through their drive-thru which was really convenient. I ordered their banana latte based on the reviews and thought it was good, but was a little sad because I finished the espresso kind of quickly and all that was left was the banana foam. Definitely worth trying/visiting if you're in the area or need to stop for coffee as they're conveniently located off Beach Blvd, on the north east side of the 22 freeway. I was in the area when I discovered that Da Vien had replaced the old Lee's, and since I had a hankering for Vietnamese coffee, I pulled into the drive-thru line. There were a few cars ahead of me which was a good sign in terms of the place's popularity. When it was my turn, I quickly decided on the egg coffee because I've only had it one other time and remember it being delicious. I was not disappointed. My drink was absolutely delicious, and it was actually Vietnamese coffee. Some places will say they serve Vietnamese coffee, but once you take a sip, you immediately realize it's a weak imitation. Not here. If you need a strong coffee drink, this place is for you. Definitely look forward to trying more of their drinks. read more

Da Vien had a BOGO marble drip promotion, which was the optimal time for me to visit their new location on Beach Blvd. The interior seating is very well designed with optimal space to hang out while still giving the feeling that it is spacious. Very good job on the design and they continue to get better with every new location. I went to pick up my drinks at 9pm on a Thursday as I was heading home from LAX. I couldn't believe how busy they were and most people were not drinking the BOGO drink. It's an organic busy that can only be achieved by offering a tasty menu, which they do. Da Vien is our GO TO coffee shop! Been coming to Da Vien since they opened their first location on Bolsa in 2021(?) and since then we probably grab a drink here every 1-2 weeks! We're so happy they opened up this location, which is closer to us, but it's also much bigger inside than the other two locations, AND it has a drive thru. We've tried a lot of their drinks but our favorite is the black sesame latte with an extra shot of espresso! We like to get an extra shot so there's more taste of coffee than milk. The sesame cream is very rich and flavorful and blends really well with the coffee. By the way, the drive thru has two lanes. Left is for drinks, right is to exit. So if you happen to park in the lot that's in the drive thru, and can't get out because of the line, use the right lane! read more

Love the drive thru. The service is quick and friendly. I primarily order the iced banana latte, which tastes so delicious. I did try the brown sugar fresh milk, half sweet, and it was good but that brown sugar taste just stays for hours. In any case, this is a new favorite for me.
