There were a few cars ahead of me which was a good sign in terms of the place's popularity. When it was my turn, I quickly decided on the egg coffee because I've only had it one other time and remember it being delicious. I was not disappointed. My drink was absolutely delicious, and it was actually Vietnamese coffee. Some places will say they serve Vietnamese coffee, but once you take a sip, you immediately realize it's a weak imitation. They're located alongside a large plaza with plenty of parking, so I'd suggest parking on that side instead. Ambiance/Environment: This location is their first ever DRIVE THRU! Don't worry, you can still come in-person and order if you prefer that. The interior is so spacious compared to their other locations. I love the decor and how clean it is. Plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Perfect for a study session, coffee date, & simple hangout. Service: Everyone was sweet, quick & efficient! Throughput was quick after ordering. Drinks: I've tried every drink from their menu. Their Vietnamese coffee is absolutely strong & creamy, and their foam is thiccckkk. When I want a Viet coffee, THIS is what I mean by Viet coffee. Da Vien had a BOGO marble drip promotion, which was the optimal time for me to visit their new location on Beach Blvd. The interior seating is very well designed with optimal space to hang out while still giving the feeling that it is spacious. Very good job on the design and they continue to get better with every new location. I went to pick up my drinks at 9pm on a Thursday as I was heading home from LAX. I couldn't believe how busy they were and most people were not drinking the BOGO drink. It's an organic busy that can only be achieved by offering a tasty menu, which they do. The egg coffee is delicious, really it is. Another location with a drive through although the drive through does move decently. The store is in the corner of the center which is good for the drive through because the line can block traffic but the shopping center isn't too busy which is good for car traffic. Da Vien is our GO TO coffee shop! Been coming to Da Vien since they opened their first location on Bolsa in 2021(?) and since then we probably grab a drink here every 1-2 weeks! We're so happy they opened up this location, which is closer to us, but it's also much bigger inside than the other two locations, AND it has a drive thru. We've tried a lot of their drinks but our favorite is the black sesame latte with an extra shot of espresso! We like to get an extra shot so there's more taste of coffee than milk. The sesame cream is very rich and flavorful and blends really well with the coffee. By the way, the drive thru has two lanes. Left is for drinks, right is to exit. So if you happen to park in the lot that's in the drive thru, and can't get out because of the line, use the right lane! read more

Before leaving the OC from visiting my parents, my husband and I stopped by Da Vien's newest location. We decided to go through the drive-thru this time because the line wasn't long. Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the egg cream coffee and the coconut matcha. We both loved each drink and honestly would've loved a larger size LOL I love anything coconut water and matcha. Their matcha cream tasted amazing! My husband said his drink reminds him of tiramisu - which we both love that dessert quite a bit so it was perfect. From the outside, the interior looked warm and inviting. Went to Da Vien for the first time after hearing so much about it! The first thing I noticed was the interior design. It has such a clean and cozy aesthetic I could see myself coming by to get a drink and read a book or study. I love davien, in my opinion best place for coffee in OC. The staff here is great. I ordered a banana matcha latte and it hasnt beat any other place for me. We come here often since my dad loves the ube vietnamese coffee here. We have been to every single location and you cannot beat it. The line here wasnt too long when we arrived but they also provide a kiosk and there was no wait at all and paying for our drinks were at ease. On a saturday evening, I pulled up in the driveway and there wasn't a long line today! The worker greeted us & was very nice. We got a regular matcha latte & a sesame matcha latte which only took 5 mins to make.. so fast!! They tasted very balanced not too sweet or earthy. This used to be my favorite matcha place of all time. Not sure what happened, but they have since changed their matcha recipe or the way they make it, because it tastes completely different now. Their ube matcha was my absolute favorite but any time I order it now it tastes super off. Also they recently upped the prices of their ham and Swiss croissants which was one of my favorite reasons for going there was getting a decent sized croissant for under $4. Now it's up to $5. I fear they're worried too much about expanding to more locations and becoming a popular chain rather than the quality of their matcha or drinks anymore. read more

The best thing about da vien is it really caters to people who like flavored coffee but ALSO who just like coffee in general! Despite being so busy, they're able to quickly keep up (but def expect a line at all times). I normally order online for pickup since I live nearby and my order is always ready on time. The interior is surprisingly really big and has a ton of spaces to seat. It's not the most quiet since it's quite bustling but great place to hang out. This location has drive-thru but it also has sit down area inside. It's really nice and modern with plenty of space if you want to work from a remote place other than home. I tried the marble drip, da vien and sesame flavored coffee. I also had the han and cheese croissant which is small but packed with ham and very cheesy. If you like creamer coffee, the marble drip is your choice. If you want it stronger, the regular vietnamese coffee or da vien is great. Almost as good as Lee's (still my favorite). Service was very quick and the staff call out your order when ready so pay attention. You can order from the kiosk or through your phone on the app. If you order on the kiosk, they will call your name.
