My friends and I were craving Korean food after we went to BTS. The wait was long, but it was definitely worth it. The food was fantastic. The budae jjigae was spicy but just right since it was cold outside. The rose tteokbokki was so creamy that I wanted more. We really enjoyed the meal and sipped on some soju. Went on a weeknight so not crowded. I love kalbi so of course I ordered their kalbi, which is very inexpensive since everywhere else nowadays cost at least $50. Also got the Military Army Soup. Though the portion is smaller than other places, but it definitely filled me up. Perfect for one meal, so don't expect to have leftovers for a second meal. The fries and the hot pot were good, no complaints there. The La kalbi had good flavor but the portion was so small for the price compared to other places, each bone was like 4 dollars each. The stir fried baby octopus was a little sweet and spicy but also a really small portion considering half of it was cabbage. The seafood pancake wasn't crispy, but rather kind of soggy. The boneless chicken was so disappointing, it felt like there weren't really any pieces of chicken and even then, there was fried rice cake included in it so the amount of actual chicken was maybe 3 ounces on the entire plate. Inside is nice with the lighting and decor, service was good, but food was pretty overpriced for what you get. Overall, the selling point of this place are the late hours. Such great food and excellent service! We came to celebrate Mother's Day here with the family. We were seated quickly, the server took our order and informed us of the special drinks for Mother's Day. Food came out promptly and was delicious! My parents and family enjoyed all the different dishes we ordered. We had kids, teens, seniors, and adults with us, all with different tastes, but everyone enjoyed everything that came out. You might need to park a bit further down the road and walk back. If you come in as a big group, they will apply service tip automatically on the bill for 20%. The decoration is decent and clean with a big TV displaying Kpop MV. Foods are really good, their seafood pancake is crispy and generous in seafoods portions. The ambiance is giving pocha vibes and I like how they have a variety of items on their menu. I also like how it is open late. I got the army stew and the fire cheese chicken this time with their new lychee sparkling soju. I thought the sparkling soju was good, it tasted like juice. The fire chicken was alright- it was not as good as I remembered. It was too oily which did kind of overpower the chicken and cheese. We found this delicious Korean place off yelp on a whim and it was great! They had a large variety of traditional Korean dishes and the restaurant had a great ambiance. I really liked the seafood pancake as they were generous with the amount of seafood and the batter was very crispy. The cold noodles were surprisingly good too! The army stew was very hearty and was great to have on a chilly day. I did think the soondubu was a little lackluster though, and though the fried chicken was very crispy and juicy, the sauce was on the side and so not coated very well on the wings. What a great Korean restaurant with good vibes and great service! I made a reservation for 30+ people as we wanted to eat dinner before karaoke and this was close by. Long overdue and review is for current vs past years. Came here late night on a weekday. Wasn't too full, the place can hold big groups with 4 booths and 10 tables. Ordered the watermelon soju of course, could not taste any soju for some reason. The garlic pork belly was not crispy (2/5). Stir fry chicken gizzards were a bit too gamey for me and not as flavorful (2/5). The cold noodles imo was the best dish (5/5), good vinegar ratio and radish and slivers of cucumber. This is a solid hole in the wall location that serves a good variety of Korean food staples. The K-Pop playing in the background, customer photos on the booths and drawings really add good ambience. My girlfriends and I have come here after going to karaoke and have worked our way through the menu. All the items are made fresh so make sure you are patient. Also, if you order the nachos with beef make sure they do not forget. Of the three times we have ordered, they forgot to add beef once and then barely put any on another time. There is one female and one male bathroom. They are both for one person at a time but decent in size. There may not seem to be much parking in the front but there is more in the back. Dad Bak is opened until 2 a.m. Upon entry I was greeted and seated immediately. The ambiance is inviting, well lit, clean, and no over power smell of cleaning supplies. I ordered beef bulgogi. The food came pretty quick. It was the right temperature. The sides were great. I wish they had cucumber and clear noodles. How have I never reviewed Dae Bak after going here SO many times? Well, this makes for a perfect Throwback Thursday review! Most of the times I've been here was for more of a Thirsty Thursday kind of vibe, with lots of flavored soju and hearty eats. So I've never been sure if the food was good or just tasted more amazing because of the soju. However I recently went here completely sober and the food really held up. First of all, there's complimentary *Banchan*, which are small dishes with various ingredients. Typically in Korean restaurants some Banchan are spicier than others ranging from super mild to extremely sweat inducing, but the ones here are all mild enough for me to eat (and I have an allergy to spicy foods). The *Omelet Fried Rice* is very comforting and super savory, especially with spam. Yes, there's ketchup on top of the egg, by the way. So be ready for it. Always dependable is the *Fried Chicken*. It's ridiculously crispy and nice and hot. Make sure to give it a little time to cool off! And the new one I hadn't tried until this most recent time... the *Bulgogi Hot Pot*. YUM!!! They put all the ingredients into the hot pot and it cooks right in front of you. I like the ratio of meat to veggies. Pretty generous portions of both. TIP: They are still open late, even on weekdays. DATE TIP: Perfect spot for a soju date and comfort food. Way to go! read more

The kimbap was so delicious and hit the spot! The perfect blend of umami flavors along with the fresh and pickled vegetables. My friend said she'd had better Korean fried chicken, but it was quite tender and juicy. The breading was also very crispy and was hot hot hot! The garlic fried chicken came with a small portion of fries on top which came to a surprise to both of us. Had she known, she wouldn't have bought the sweet potato fries.
