This is the second time trying Korean BBQ, and this time I loved it! We went on a Sunday night. We walked and and got sat immediately. I was surprised it wasn't more busy but excited to eat. We did the unlimited BBQ and it comes with all the meat and sides shown on the menu. Because it's all you can eat, they'll refill whichever meat/side if you'd like more. Ambiance was laid back. The music wasn't overwhelmingly loud which was nice too. The staff was also very friendly and efficient, coming by often to make sure we had everything we wanted/needed. Pro tip that I had no idea until now, but use the onions and pineapple to add flavor when cooking the meat! Can't wait to try this out again :)

Ugh, I hate giving Dae Gee only three stars. The food is amazing and the flavors really get to the heart and soul of Korean BBQ. My biggest issue is the service. While the staff is friendly, once you start your meal, they disappear. This is my second visit and I LOVE the food, but having to hunt down my server just doesn't make the experience worth it. On this visit, the grill was not working properly. After waiting 10 minutes for someone to help, I just started turning knobs on the grill. I wanted to chow down on some BBQ. If the owner, Joseph Kim, reads these.... please make an improvement. The food is fantastic, but this little detail reduces the experience.

Leaving a review after 2nd visits during lunch time. I personally think this Korean restaurant…read moreshows "sincerity" into their food. At least for lunch combo, the thoughtful assortment of main dish and side dishes as well as soup of the day are very satisfactory. Their food is little bit more on a savory side compared to other Korean restaurants who use too many spices. Before I met Baekga, i was pretty disappointed in local franchises of Korean eateries in Colorado, but Baekga not only they have very calm and toned down atmosphere for pleasant meals, it is the venue I would actually bring my visitors to. The location is little far for me to explore their dinner menus but I would love to when I am nearby next time. Champagne kimchi was inspiring. I never had any kind of Kimchi taste like this. I really praise for the creativity. It would be a good pair with a variety of food such as charcuterie board, katsu, sausage dish, barbecue, and simple with wine! I personally liked Dakgangjeong, Beef radish soup (soup of the day), and champagne kimchi from my visit. Frankly, this venue maybe a polarizing Korean restaurant especially for Korean natives, but I personally think this venue deserves more recognition compared to other local Korean franchise in Denver/Aurora who just serve the food items but not the sincerity and/or creativity.

It's def a more modern Korean restaurant from the interior alone. But food was delicious. I was interested in a lot of items on the menu u so it was hard to choose from. The dakgalbi lunch special was an actual full on lunch with sides and soup. The galbi tang was pretty good. The meat is some of the best I've had in CO. It was very tender and fell off the bone very easily. The La galbi was so good and flavorful. When it's mixed with the onions and veggies and rice, everything tastes really good combined. I would skip on the pancakes because they were a little burnt. We saw a different one come out and it was also burnt. Otherwise, eat around because it's quite flavorful.

We got the classic soondae soup with bone broth and spicy soondae soup, both without intestines. The soondae was very chewy and the classic broth was on the lighter side. I added some pepper and spicy chili paste for added flavor. It tasted great with the kimchi and pickled radishes. The spicy broth definitely had a kick to it and had lots of pepper flakes inside. They ddukbokki took awhile to come out but once we got it, we enjoyed how it tasted like classic spicy rice cake with fish cake in it. It only had half of a boiled egg, but it was still good paired with the spicy and sweet sauce. They had lots of seating indoors. Definitely will be coming back to try more items.

I thought I would be too much of a wuss for it, but if I could go back I would order all of them that flavor. The kimchi fries were stellar as well- they had kimchi, jalapeño, queso fresco, bulgogi sauce and beef on them, and they were so flavorful. The portion was huge too- it would have been a good appetizer for 4-6 people, rather than to split between the two of us. I wish they offered a half portion. The only thing we weren't a fan of were their cocktails- the flavor was good but they tasted weak. We tried the Seoul Sunset and the Forbidden Fruit, and the Forbidden fruit was definitely better. Get a beer or wine instead. They do have happy hour on Friday and Saturday. Service was friendly and quick, if not super talkative. The ambiance was fun, upscale city with neon colors and brick. Highly highly recommend if you're looking for good food at a mid level price.

Went at night after work for an early dinner, got there around 5:45pm or so. Not very busy which is nice and the restaurant is clean. There is only one aunty that was working and she was very nice. I like trying different places for their soondaeguk to see what kind of soondae they use. Of course this restaurant isn't know for soondae so it's the frozen ones that comes with the soup. Overall the food wasn't bad but the soup was missing a little something but I just couldn't pinpoint what it was. Maybe the bone broth didn't have a deeper flavor that I was looking for. I will definitely come back to try other items as well if I am visiting Colorado again!

We ordered takeout and while everything was wrapped nicely and didn't spill, it was lackluster. The chive pancake was sad. It looked undercooked. I'm not sure what happened since the last time I ordered but it's gone down.

However, I was very pleasantly surprised at the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the warmth of the owner! We walked in Thursday night at 11pm. It was one of the only Asian restaurants in the area still open after our flight landed. As expected, the customers were sparse save for 2-3 tables of diners. The interior was immediately green flags - l loved the decor and wood tones. It felt like I was in Korea! The menu is your typical pocha fare - soups, Korean pancakes, army stew, KBBQ meats. We ordered the jalapeño soy chicken wings, volcano pork, and the kimchi fried rice. My favorite was the chicken wings, really crunchy with good flavor and the wings were decently sized. The volcano pork came over a fire burner and cooked at our table. It was definitely pretty spicy but paired really well with the kimchi fried rice, which I thought could be spicier. The pork quality was ok but I really liked the flavors and the bean sprouts in the pot. I particularly love that K Pocha has zero sugar soju on the menu no sugar = no hangovers!) I always drink the brand with the fox on it and squeeze a bit of lemon into the shot. We were served by the owner and the service was efficient. He didn't seem to speak the best English so we had to have one of our friends translate when we asked questions, but he was really nice and welcoming. K Pocha seems to be pretty new, so I will hopefully be back soon to support his business! I definitely want to try the army stew and the tofu soups.
