After hubby and I took the dogs to Walled Lake to swim we were all hankering for a cold treat. There are apparently no ice cream shops right on the lake, which surprised me, but this one is just down the road within easy distance of the beach. I didn't know until we went there that orange julius has merged with Dairy Queen so my choice was easy. I got an Orange Julius and it was delicious. Hubby got a blizzard and each dog got a small vanilla cone. Boy did that ice cream hit the spot. Service was fast and friendly and the ice cream was delicious as it always is a Dairy Queen. read more

Getting the ice cream was super fast and there were a lot of employees there. I got the chocolate chip cookie doughy blizzard and it was nice and sweet although a little more cookie dough would have been nice. Also i wish it was less liquidity. I also got the cheesecake fudge caramel blizzard and girl scout thin mint blizzard and it was good and sweet. read more

Frankly, this is the best Dairy Queen I've been to in Michigan. Came here on a late Friday evening (around 9:10pm) and it was a little crowded, but I was served super quick. The staff was very friendly, and you can tell they were all properly trained because of how smoothly they moved in the back. I got a Summer Berry Cheesecake Blizzard, and it was absolutely delicious! It was creamy, yet ice cream tasting. I got a Medium, and it was a little too much dessert for me, so maybe next time I'll go for a small. Check this place out! read more

You order a small cone they give you a mini. You order a medium they give you a small. You order a LARGE twisty cone you give you a medium. Learn how to fill a cone. Geez! She redid our cones 3 times and each time gave us and even smaller cone. I'll go to the other Dairy Queen down the street so when I pay 3.50 for a stinking cone I'll get what I actually paid for. 7$ to watch their ice cream machine EXPLODE and wait 20 minutes for 2 cones as they helped everyone waiting OUTSIDE. read more

Worst hotdog ever; the bun was stale, the hotdog over cooked and tasted like it sat out all day. Staff should have never served this to a customer. I'm only giving this 3 stars because it's not what it used to be. This Dairy Queen has been around for like 50 years (or thereabouts) and up until a couple years ago it was small and quaint and old skool. The old retro freestanding building was torn down a few years ago and in it's place they put a condo-looking building with sleek 'hipster' storefronts. The ice cream here is just fine...but the nostalgia of and old ice cream joint is long gone. read more

The Dairy Queen in my small town has taken 20 minutes for the single car in front of me, given me the wrong food, and refused a $5 lunch box because I was there a little before 4, not after 4, before. This is within my last four visits there. This is not only bad customer service but when I am out wanting food I recommend every restaurant first.
