Mac and cheese
andrea m.

The only reason my I'm not going to give it a one star review is because I got a 5% discount. I love Mac and cheese and I was really expecting a good plate of it. However the wait.... THE WAIT WAS AN HOUR AND SOME CHANGE...... also can we talk about the price? The Mac and cheese is 14 dollars. I'm not one to complain about prices because I be getting Mac and cheese for the same price, however I just think that if you're charging that price then the Mac and Cheese should be 14 dollars worth of cheese and goodness. #nevergoingback #getyourmacandcheesesomewhereelse.

I was drawn in by the aroma of fresh brewed coffee breakfast menu has so many different choices it was hard to choose fresh fruits healthy size pancakes and challah bread French toast so delicious I had the hot chocolate with whipped cream the booths and counter seating brought the nostalgia of so many art work and old style telephone booth with the seat..it a A+ service with a smile and make sure they asked if you needed anything. It was a great meetup place so spacious and the decor so tasteful making this a return for lunch or dinner

My order

I ordered a breakfast through uber eats breakfast was supposed to be corned beef hash, crispy potatoes, eggs and toast and I only got the corned beef hash...I called to complain and was told that's what I ordered I screenshot my order and it was a whole breakfast not corned beef hash and the lady I spoke to was rude and just said contact uber eats then

CHICKEN & WAFFLE

chicken and waffles taste good separately but they came with no condiments or utensils or like. anything at all (ordered to-go). which is a bummer :( if it wasn't $20 and came with all the parts i probably would've rated it a 3.5-4

Kids French toast

Came here on a Sunday morning after arriving from a cruise. Had to look for someone to sit us down. 4 people , 2 adults &2 kids. Water was brought to the table for 3 my husband had to mention there was a 4th person. One daughter got a bacon egg and cheese sandwich which she loved. My younger daughter got a kids french toast , which she loved. My husband lo ed his breakfast burrito. I got the lumberjack. Pancakes were over cooked, eggs were supposed to be scrambled but looked like an omelette. Bacon was nice and crispy. Home fries had no flavor. Coffee was good. I mean it was a blah experience. Hey it's just a diner right lol

After about ten years, I returned to this diner and was pleasantly surprised by the great changes. It looks more modern, the customer service is excellent, and the food is delicious. Atmosphere is great.

Florentine breakfast wrap and home fries
Trevor B.

Overall, it was good for breakfast. The French toast was actually good and the sausage. Eggs are eggs, and the home fries tasted good. Both eggs and home fries needed salt. The florentine wrap tasted bland. However, it is decent for what it was.

Chocolate shake!

Love this place! Great location, close to all the bars on 5th Ave and a perfect place to end the night! DELICIOUS fries and chocolate shakes. The inside is so adorable and well decorated. Will be visiting again.

This is named a Cubano sandwich which obviously it is NOT.

Finding out problem of delivery and not even contact customers for the solution. Causing customers wait more than a hour for the order.

It gives old world charm meets NYC cool and the combination just works. The drinks set the tone perfectly. The Espresso Martini was bold and smooth, and the Heatwave Margarita had this creamy tropical quality that was really unique. Food-wise, the Smoked Salmon Plate with soda bread was a delish, first time trying soda bread and it was a solid pairing with the dish. The Asparagus & Spring Pea Quiche was hearty, savory and golden crusted perfection. But the star? The French Toast, sitting in a warm maple sauce topped with a cloud of cream. Fluffy, indulgent and an absolute must order!

Had a welcoming and upbeat server, but the service was general slower and not rushed, 2.5hr for our meal. I was excited as the dishes sounded unique and promising but a lot of them fell short: The egg tonnato didn't have much flavor, the herb oil only adding a slightly grassy taste. I was excited for the hiramasa crudo, but it was bland and one note, even the mild pomelo overpowered the fish because of how little flavor. Fried anchovies were tasty and paired well with sage but the portion is so small for the price. What went well: sea bass was very well cooked, very soft, flaky, well flavored. Was under salted but I could add that myself. The pork was also well cooked, tender, generous portion of meat that paired well with the cherry. We finished off with the burnt caramel tart, which had a good flavor although the texture was on the softer side. I don't think the creme fraise really complemented it, but still tasty. There were some good dishes and Sailor is a vibe, but the price point and what we received I'm not sure if I'd return for a meal.

The atmosphere really sets it apart--those soaring ceilings and massive windows create an airy, open feel that's perfect for daytime drinking, and the sports decor adds character without being over the top. Despite being a sports bar (I'm sure it gets lively during Knicks playoff games), it was surprisingly family-friendly during our visit. We saw several other families, including one with a small baby, and the vibe was welcoming and chill. It wasn't crowded, so we could sit wherever we wanted. On this visit, we tried the deviled eggs, french fries, and Sonoran dog, all of which were tasty and came out impressively fast. The drinks are solid too: my Negroni was well-made, and they have well-priced beers and decent cocktails throughout. Daily specials make it even more budget-friendly. The staff is friendly and laid-back, which matches the overall vibe. Bonus points for being dog-friendly with a sidewalk patio, and the hours (weekdays 3-11pm, weekends 12-11pm) work well for both afternoon hangs and evening plans. Super convenient if you're hitting up BAM.

Our server, Pierre, was really attentive and pleasant. It was a fun night-big crowd. It's a shame I didn't get to experience their food menu. A server zipped passed me with some goodies that I must try. I'll be back.
