Came here after a nice yoga session at grand park, and it was a really nice pick me up! We got the chocolate cream & salted caramel matcha, along with the salted caramel cream latte! I didn't try the matcha but I was told it was good! I enjoyed the salted caramel cream latte as it wasn't too sweet. I really enjoyed their egg & cheddar sandwich, which came with a crispy hash brown. The inside is limited in seating but if you're able to score a seat, then you're in luck! It can get a bit busy so expect a wait as there were only two workers at the time and they were a bit backed up! Nonetheless, everything was good! They are a cashless establishment!

The staff was super nice! When we went, the store was empty and the drink was made promptly. We got the Pear Matcha and I would say there was virtually no pear flavor... Furthermore the matcha flavor was so weak that it was overpowered by the milk :( I think this place has a lot of potential so I'll be back! But for now it does not hold its own among the matcha titans of Los Angeles.

I love this place! The owner is the sweetest and the ambiance is amazing! We love the vibes. Some of the workers aren't as excited or enthusiastic but! The product makes up for it. The pastries and sandwiches are so good! I love the sando and the taste of it. It's perfection and makes the day 10x better when trying it out. Definitely worth a visit!

Rebrand! Loving the new interior. Great area to catch up with friends and get a coffee. The everything breakfast sando is great and I love that they have really crispy hash browns! Tried the chocolate cream matcha and I definitely enjoyed that! Staff was super helpful and friendly!

Cute little cafe in little Tokyo that I'll now on to my favs! Had the pear matcha and the little pear bits made it so yummy! Love that they use ceremonial grade matcha from Uji. The breakfast sandwiches and bites looked so good too. Will definitely have to try it next time!

I attended their soft opening, and it's a beautiful cafe! There was plenty of street parking available right in front. Since they open early at 6:30 am, parking fees aren't enforced until 8 am. I ordered the Sweet Cream Cold Brew and the Salted Caramel Cream Matcha Latte with oat milk. Both were delicious and made well. I enjoyed that the sweetness came primarily from the cream toppings. The matcha was a vibrant green with a distinct earthy flavor--always a positive sign of good quality matcha. The cold brew was smooth and not acidic. I would order both drinks again. They also offer a small selection of breakfast items and baked goods. I opted in for the butter croissant, and it was delicious when warmed up. The cost of all four items was $27.30 including tax and tip. The service was good. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available. I look forward to trying more of their drinks the next time I'm in the area.

Paying a visit to Damda meant dealing with finding parking in the area which kinda needed extra patience and luck lol. In love with the terracota theme for sure, and it's actually an adorable petite space for quick coffee break. Not that busy during weekday afternoon so getting my drink ready swiftly, but couldn't really sit and chill tho as I couldn't find a long-duration parking spot. Torn between coffee and matcha, then ended with their salted caramel cream matcha latte. They might have used blue spirulina if I jogged my memory right. The cream was pretty nice with light but just right sweetness. The matcha was so-so for my liking but YMMV! Would probably be back and gave a try for their coffee.

Very aesthetically pleasing inside and there is some seating which is nice! We went in the morning, so not super busy. Service is really great and friendly. Their menu has some unique offerings on it not typical of most matcha shops including a salted caramel cream matcha, naju pear matcha, and hash browns! They also have a nice bathroom. Having both food and matcha and other drinks is great and I'd definitely recommend taking a look at this place if you're in the area.

This clean cafe offers a unique selection of matchas! We got the pear matcha and salted cream matcha. There's also unique pastries to choose from. And I lays love a place that has a croffle on the menu. They have limited seating inside. Service was very kind.

A lot of unique options. I like that this place also serves bites like breakfast sandwiches and croffles! On Google Maps it's still called The Latte Shop (former name) so if you're looking for it, come to Damda!

Such an amazing cafe! Truly a gift to Little Tokyo as this store has such a variety of high quality matcha and coffee drinks. With the newest rebrand, the cafe has a soft red interior that makes the environment cozy and elegant. Every time I've come into the store, I'm greeted by the most delightful workers. They are always so kind and efficient while making the drinks, despite how busy it can get. Nico is my absolute favorite and makes one hell of a drink! Lastly, I just need to give a special shoutout to their cream tops. Not only are their drinks great on their own, but the cream top adds a whole new experience that many could not get elsewhere. Yes, cream tops are popular in every cafe, but DAMDA just does it so much better. DAMDA, you will always be my #1 cafe! I can't wait for their grand opening.

Been to Damda a couple of times and it is now one of my favorite cafe in Little Tokyo. The ambiance is nice, and so are the baristas. The only issue here is the parking, it's either street or the structure across the street

The mango had the perfect balance of tart and creamy. It wasn't too heavy, and it's easy to finish one by yourself. I also tried the pistachio, and it was really good too! It's nutty with a strong pistachio flavor, and again, not overly sweet. It even has little chunks of pistachio throughout, which adds a nice texture. If you love pistachio, this is definitely the one to get. I would definitely come back and try some of their other flavors!

She took me here. The place was very clean and tidy with a lot of different types of sweet treats. I was there for one thing only. I did ask the gal working if they were made that day and she said yes. We ordered a raspberry, an orange, a coffee bean and the popular mango. This was my 2nd time trying these and our hopes were high BUT the raspberry was just awful the filling was strange and it had just raspberry jam inside,I dint eat it. The mango was okay so we shared that. The coffee bean was just awful as well so we didn't finish that either. The orange was the best of the group but overall just a disappointing experience once again because these are not cheap. I'm starting to think I might just have to give up my journey to find these although there are some places in Vegas that look promising. I don't think Reno has any bakeries that make these. They look so beautiful but the taste is a let down.

If you're a chocolate lover, this cake is a dream. It's rich and decadent without being overwhelming, incredibly moist, and has beautiful, prominent layers that make every bite satisfying. The frosting is smooth, creamy, and best of all, not overly sweet (the perfect Asian-approved level of sweetness!). They also added a chocolate "Happy Birthday" plaque for my mom, which was such a thoughtful finishing touch. Everyone at the party was asking where the cake was from. Each piece features smooth, sculptural finishes, layered flavors, and seasonal components--elegant in appearance and delicate in texture." Each cake serves one and is 2.75" in size. Love that there were mini versions of these mousse cakes. All of the glazes were done well and the cakes were moist. Earl Grey Strawberry - Light Earl Grey and strawberry flavor. However, I prefer the Jasmine and Strawberry combo. The Earl Grey Strawberry combo did not taste harmonious like the Jasmine Strawberry. The glaze is beautiful. Not only aethetically-pleasing, but the light jelly-like consistency, creamy and smooth glaze brings a beautiful texture. The cake is moist, but you mostly get the glaze. It is a mini-cake, but you can taste everything in one bite. It is small enough where you can eat it by yourself or share with someone if you want half. Sobacha - Good nutty flavor of sobacha, buttery flavor at the end. Yet still light texturally. Overall beautifully done! Hojicha - Beautiful, strong hojicha flavor. Any hojicha lover would love this! Espresso Cookie Butter - Really good strong flavors of the biscoff. But did not detect nor taste any espresso flavor anywhere. Matcha - Light in matcha flavor. Vanilla sponge cake. Buttery flavor at the end. Chocolate Black Sesame - Very strong black sesame flavor. Has a caramel layer between. Buttery, nutty deliciousness! However, I prefer the signature cake slab version. Favorites: Espresso Cookie Butter, Hojicha, Chocolate Black Sesame. SIGNATURE CAKE SLABS Taken from Dōmi website: "Cake Slabs are sliced portions of our signature whipped ganache cakes, crafted for effortless enjoyment without compromising on quality. Each slab features soft, balanced layers finished with light whipped ganache made using Valrhona chocolates--refined, indulgent, and true to our fine-dining-inspired approach to cake." Before consuming always bring to room temperature or the swiss meringue buttercream will be hard and the cake will be a bit more dense. Yuzu - Very good yuzu curd with light tartness and sweetness in balance. Creamy buttercream. Vanilla cake was soft and moist. London Fog Birthday - Love the overall look! Moist vanilla cake. Light Earl Grey flavor in cake. Vanilla buttercream is thick and creamy. Overall tastes like light Earl Grey. Love the rainbow sprinkles throughout the cake! Chocolate Black Sesame - The black sesame whipped ganache and vanilla buttercream is so good! Moist, rich cocoa cake. Not dense like the last time I've tried it. The thin layer of caramel between the cocoa cake really brings the nutty black sesame and buttery caramel flavors together. Without the dark, buttery caramel flavor, this cake would not be as fantastic as it should! The cocoa cake was slightly dry when eaten separately, but with the buttercream, I could not tell and it was delicious! Hazelnut Blood Orange - Tasted a bit of hazelnut flavor. Cannot detect the blood orange. Had to double check my order to see if I got the right cake. Can only taste cocoa cake. A little bit of deep tea flavor or caramel. Hard to detect. Some kind of dried yuzu or blood orange peel on top. It was a bit hard and unpleasant to chew on. This was my least favorite. Favorites: Chocolate Black Sesame, London Fog Birthday. I'm glad I've got to try both types of cakes, but I love the signature cake slabs! The marbleization design of the cake was stunningly beautiful and the flavor was robust in Japanese Hochija tea flavor - just how I like it. The mousse part is where the Hojicha flavor is at and the texture was nice and smooth. I liked that it was not too sweet. The base is a thin layer of dark cocoa cake, which contrasted the Hojicha perfectly. Chocolatey and roasted tea flavor ... just warms my heart and soul.
