The best thing about our experience was Markee she was very friendly just a pleasant server, My husband ordered the Eggplant and Penee looked good besides the sheer amount of water pooling around the sauce reason being pasta maybe not drained well enough pasta or they the defrosted the eggplant on the same plate the eggplant was so gummy like previously frozen it seemed to be frozen and microwaved , pasta was ok sauce tasted good , I order lasagna well it looked delicious the cheese looked hot and gooey couldn't wait to taste so first small bite under the cheese tomato was cold I thought couldn't be so took another bite stone cold obviously this was in the fridge or freezer , guessing the cooks do not know how to check internal temperature wow the menu's 50 year old recipe down the drain, so Markee the server was very polite I explained about the lasagna and said touch it , me after seeing these to meals said just have children fingers and fries figured couldn't hurt chicken fingers, Markee offered to bring me a house salad while I waited and my husband ate his dinner my food came but my husband was done at this point I was hungry the fingers were acceptable the bed of fries under the fingers I ate two were under cooked like the grease was not hot enough so fries adsorbed the grease and were limp and greasy, I didn't want to mention to Markee well my husband had been finished eating we were just ready to go, we have been to Sunday brunch and been very pleased but this meal dinner was a big flop and there were only 4 tables at this on a Tuesday afternoon about 3:30, what was the cook doing ?? $22 eggplant $22 and 50 year old recipe lasagna and $17 bed of chicken fingers and fries, just a note yes the lasagna was removed from our bill but $41 really was a high price to pay for such poor quality. A 3 because of hostess & length of wait for dinner. There was only two other parties in the big restaurant so it wasn't busy ( i always take this into consideration). Hostess sat us, asked what we wanted to drink we ordered a water and a Bud Light and then didn't see anyone for 10 minutes. Waitress Dallace who tried her hardest but couldn't do what the kitchen didn't produce. we ordered happy hour garlic cheese bread- it came rather fast... then the 30 minute wait for our entrées, A Sicilian sandwich and ricotta penne pasta. Dallace said it would be up soon... The sandwich came fine but I ordered grilled chicken with my pasta & i was starving & didn't notice it at first. The restaurant was getting busier and it took a while for the waitress to come back and check on us. I told her that grilled chicken was missing but by that time I was just done and wanted to get home after coming from the SMF airport and traveling home to Chico. Besides the missing grilled chicken I felt that the pasta was cold & the sauce was lukewarm as well. Dallace made accommodations on our bill. Which we appreciated. One final note: when I got there to use the restroom there were no toilet seat covers in one of the two bathroom stalls which I thought was strange considering it was a Saturday night. read more

We have been there a few times since moving here, but this time we did pick up. Well they taped the au jus on 1 side. So it spilled all over my husbands truck, when I called the lady assumed that I said it spilled all over the food. Which I did not say at all, and started being very rude until I told her that wasn't what I said. I had done the online order to be picked up at 4 pm but was sent an email saying to pick it up at 5 pm, well I take car of a 16 month and didn't see the email. My wife ordered the jumbo ham breakfast with eggs and potatoes. The ham was huge. Her breakfast was very good. I ordered the senior pancakes with bacon and a small side order of biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were very good. Not so with the biscuits and gravy. I took a taste of the gravy, it was terrible. My wife said let her taste it. She did not like it either. The service and wait time was pretty decent. The restaurant itself was really cute decor, but that's where it ends as far as this place goes. The food just plain sucked, especially for what they were charging. The quality just isn't there. It's low-grade wannabe "Italian food" in a really cute setting. Olive Garden is way better and even their quality has suffered over the years. That's saying a lot! I don't know what kind of chicken they used, but it was obviously fake and very poor quality. The salad did not have fresh lettuce in it at all, a lot of brown pieces. if you're going to charge more than $20 for a salad, at least make it fresh and not pack it with mostly nasty lettuce. Very disappointing. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and some pasta. The pastrami was burned. I mean, black and crispy, bread too. The pasta was supposed to be spicy, it was not and the sauce watery. The garlic bread was absolutely inedible, harder then a brick. 45$ wasted. Pretty sad. I called to complain, and I was only offered an apology. I will never come here again. Bit of advice for management, instead of standing around chatting with your employees, maybe you need to do some quality control and check on the terrible cooks. My first visit here was really nice - great service by Chrisann was much appreciated. The calzone was full of cheese and the dough was amazingly light and tasty. Will hang out here again...great place to take family. The decor was colorful and lends to the personality. The staff provide great customer service. I love the family friendly atmosphere and that it's a local business vs. chain. Some of their dishes are hit and miss. The eggplant parm had a LOT of breading, like super thick, so that was a miss but the pasta and alfredo sauce were great! Their chicken cordon bleu was definitely a winner! Docking one star cuz we were served cream of chicken soup that clearly had been sitting at the bottom of the pot. It was gloppy, thicker than gravy, burnt tasting and super salty. The waitress agreed it was thicker than normal and promptly returned with minestrone soup. I feel staff should have known not to serve that. Regardless, we'll definitely will be back. read more

I have eaten at this establishment a few times and NEVER AGAIN!Only one major problem..I ate here a few years ago and had their mussels and had gotten sick just overnight. I thought maybe the mussels were old etc. and I would just steer clear of their seafood. Recently, I tried it again (5wks ago) and got major food poisoning! I ended up at Chico Enloe x2 since then and have taken a total of 3 antibiotics which I am finishing up my 3rd one now. I have been majorly sick x5 weeks and just now starting to feel better. I know this is where I got the food poisoning from as two of my friends ate the samething and also got sick. So, that is why I gave this establishment a 1 star. read more

First time in all the years my Husband & I have been together in Yuba County, that I convinced him to try DTC for Breakfast. Portions were worth every dollar! Observed Manager helping his busy Staff. Definitely the epitome of a Superior Manager in my book! Showed he cared about his Customers & Staff. Also, on our way out I heard him thanking customers for coming in. Now that businesses are starting to open & the public is getting back to dining in ~ DTC had covered tables & rolled silverware, alongside well spaced seating in place. If I could give 10 Stars. Glad I remembered a review my Pet Sitter gave! DTC definitely won us over & Britteny gave us the Best Service we've had in along time!! Stellar all across the board. Giving this place 5 stars. There was a slight miscommunication and I sat without service for awhile, but it was explained with sincere apology, so it's all good. It happens. I stopped in because of Yelp and the diverse menu. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood for, and when I asked for a side of a couple meatballs and a dinner salad, it was not a problem. My adorable server Ana was gracious and sweet and QUICK. The meatballs were amazingly tender and BIG. Yum. The salad had iceberg, mixed greens, kidney and garbanzo beans, pickled beets, little tomatoes and was also BIG. The interesting thing about this place is that it's locally owned and an Olive Garden opened up right next door! Well apparently every time I post a review of an incident that happened in the restaurant it gets taken down. Guess DTC doesn't want anyone to know that they failed to keep a table of three women and a young man in a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment because I watched that table get accosted and verbally abused by three men and no one in the restaurant came to their aid. Where was management? These women had to force these men to leave themselves. And then I heard they were attacked verbally out front and it was quite the scene with cops being called. The woman and young man came back in to finish their meal which I was glad to see but no one from the DTC came up to offer apologies. Very disgusting to see and made me feel unsafe. Won't come back for quite awhile, if ever. read more
