To my surprise, everything was delicious. The portions were large for the prices. Gen. Toi was well seasoned and slightly crunchy like I like it. It's sauce was genuine. It gets an "E" for excellent! The soup gets an "E" too. They used a chicken stock, not broth. Cooks know the difference and I am a cook. The dumplings were fried well, brown on one side and the pork filling was delicious. The pork fried frice was delicious. The rice was properly cooked with onions, bean sprouts, and fried egg. They made it the original way, no short cuts. The scallion patties were new to me. It was a little greasy and could have used a little seasoning. I heated them in the microwave on a paper towel and seasoned them with a little salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder. While the menu is expansive, many of the dishes are very similar, i.e. they have the same brown sauce as a component. Nonetheless, all the dishes we have tried are good. I'm partial to the wonton soup. I also like the moo-shi pork (though they would be even better if they heated the moo-shi pancakes before putting them in the foil). Orders are always ready for pick-up within 15 minutes. Service is very friendly. I haven't used the online ordering system because it is so easy to just call in my order.
