My coworkers and I got a bunch of things to share and nothing disappointed! The soup dumplings were a highlight as well as the mixed veggies. I always love to see baby corns. I also loved the ambience. The service was nothing to note. Thai tea is great too.

I liked the food here. Came here for the dim sum and brunch. Nice selection of dumplings and decently priced. Personally, the other items (we got a noodle side dish and a veggie side) were kinda pricey for about $20 a piece. Was good though and we devoured the everything on our plates. I made a RSVP before, but when I went they seemed confused, but didn't have to wait a long time to be seated. Its kinda small, but busy. There's booths and tables in the middle. I think this is a good place to go if you're craving dumplings. Bathroom was kinda gross and could use come TLC.

Don't be fooled by the high ratings on Google; they have an offer where if you leave a good review you get a free dessert. The food here was okay. The pan fried chive and shrimp dumpling was crispy. I could see chives, but somehow couldn't really taste the chives as much in the dumpling. The pan fried turnip cake was too mushy. It was crispy on the outside but the inside stuck to my mouth and didn't have the nice chew that a good turnip cake should. Shrimp dumplings were overpriced at $8 for 3 dumplings. Instead of chopped shrimp, it tasted more like a shrimp ball inside. The ginger tripe was probably my favorite. The flavor was good but the sauce was a little too thickened by cornstarch. We also ordered the scallion ginger lobster, which in the picture on the menu showed noodles underneath. When it arrived it only came with rice and when we asked the waitress about it, she said the picture was actually lobster lo mein and that the picture was wrong! Why would you put a picture of lobster lo mein and name it ginger scallion lobster?? Luckily our waitress got us a side of lo mein, but I was still disappointed and didn't appreciate the false advertisement.

Rounded up to four stars because I think a lot of my comments are very specific personal preference when it comes to Chinese food and dim sum in general because everything was ultimately cooked perfectly. Ordered: mixed vegetable dumplings + krabmeat/spinach/shrimp dumplings + crispy sesame ball + veg. spring rolls + pan-fried veg. dumplings + pan-fried shrimp & chive dumplings + scallion pancake + steamed egg custard buns + sticky rice in lotus leaf (didn't notice that this was meat filled! couldn't eat) + crispy shrimp balls + vegetable lo mein + shrimp fried rice. Many dishes, a mix of vegetarian and seafood, had an off-putting flavor or were just way too big to eat and enjoy comfortably with the texture, imo. Threw most things away, sadly. The shrimp fried rice, vegetable lo mein, and shrimp w/ chive dumplings were INCREDIBLE, though, and my partner was obsessed with his egg custard buns. I'd get like 4 orders of those shrimp and chive dumplings and just call it a day.

Food is testy , very friendly and good service, traditional Chinese style restaurants. Would love to back again soon .

Ordered the dim sum platter. I appreciated the variety which is why one would want the platter. They have some unique item combinations. Overall I would say it was average. Of course getting fresh dim sum in flushing or china will be better, but the dim sum platter was an ok delivery option. I also was craving hot and sour soup which was also above average here (good flavor, thick, not very spicy though).

This place was recommended by the concierge at our hotel for lunch since my mom wanted "NYC Chinese". We took the quick 10 minute stroll to this restaurant during lunch time which was nice. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. They have the lunch rush down pat as we did not wait long for our food at all. Both my mom and I were pleased with our selections. Also, it's something about their rice but it was so nice and fluffy lol. Ambiance is very nice for what one might think is a hole in a wall. Great decision for lunch.

My friend chose to have her birthday dinner here. They have large tables for groups. Overall the food was ok. Flavors were decent. They have a great happy hour with $5 glasses of wine until 8pm. Prices are reasonable. We shared pork soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, spring rolls, cha siu buns, fried rice, and lo mein. The bottom of the buns were a bit soggy. They offer dim sum all day, but I didn't try it.

PROs - location , service and food taste CONs- not much vegetarian options. Great location. Right on Madison Ave . Was hungry and was craving Chinese food . Lunch specials were about 13-14$ .. wanted to taste this food , looking at all Google reviews . Was a 4 plus review in Google .. service was good .the only issue was the waiter / waitress wasn't sure about vegetarian stuff and he had to go to chef and check everything . Also the vegetarian options were very limited in lunch specials. Lots of seats to sit and dine . Ambience was good . Ordered mapo tofu With spring rolls and hot and sour soup. Spring rolls were a bit cold and I thought it would be hot .. taste was good but I wish it was a little bit fresh . Hot and sour soup was just incredible.. superbbbbbbbb.. tasted really good .... Mall tofu tasted good but I wish the tofu was a bit fried (like general tsos tofu" . I asked them and they said it will be fried . Too much quantity of tofu and very less sauce . Wish they had more sauce . Overall I liked the food .. very good experience .. 4 stars

Finally got a chance to try this place after noticing signage repeatedly on my way home whenever in this area. Noticed they have a sign out advertising all-day take out specials. Decided to get takeout for dinner. Ordered the eggplant with chicken special and the assorted vegetables with fish filet special. Food was ready within 15 minutes of ordering. Neatly packaged containers and sturdy double paper bag. Good excellent portion size. Good value. Food was delicious. The takeout special comes w option of egg drop soup or hot and sour soup, a crispy vegetable spring roll, and a pint of white rice. Will I be coming back? Absolutely.

Wonderful new dim sum restaurant on Madison Ave btw 33rd and 34th st. Came here for lunch and they had a nice sit-down atmosphere with comfy booth seating. I ordered their dim sum platter ($22.99) which came with one of each: -Red bean sesame ball - love the mochi texture but wished the inside red beans was more purée -Duck dumplings & Pork roll - good but not memorable -Black truffle and spinach dumplings - perfect texture! -Crispy shrimp ball - nice crisp on the outside but maybe too much shrimp -Shumai and har gow (steam shrimp dumpling) were sooo amazing that we ordered extra. Both were juicy and fresh! We also ordered a side of crispy tofu skin shrimp but I wouldn't recommend them since there were very little shrimp and mostly crunchy tofu skins. The platter was a nice experience for our first time visit but Ill be ordering a la carte the next time I go. Staff were nice but with only 2 working there, it took some time to flag them down. As long as I have 2 hrs to be spare again, I'll be back!

There was a wait list to get seated when we arrived but the process was simple and moved quickly, and service was prompt and food came out quickly. We ordered both the standard pork XLB and my faves, the pork and crab ones, as well as pan fried pork dumplings which I was surprised to discover were also full of soup, chicken corn dumplings, and two noodle dishes: rice cake with pork & mustard greens, and pan fried noodles with beef. Servers were conscientious about allergies and very specific about letting us know which items were which, but other than that were largely appropriately hands off. They did ask us, mid-meal, if it would be ok if a service dog were at the next table to ours, which I thought was courteous. (The service dog was adorable and well behaved.) All the food was fab, which we expected. It's nice to come in a group and be able to order more items for a greater variety. The rookies executed well (and thanked us for the instructions on how to eat XLB to avoid getting soup everywhere) and were pleasantly surprised by my longtime favorite, the rice cake and mustard greens. I'll need to remember that the pan fried pork dumplings also have soup, because I really liked the texture of them. Such good food, and as always, better shared with friends.

I really liked the scallion pancake and eggplant. The pancake wasn't crispy/dry, but rather the exterior was crisp and the inside was still a little soft/fluffy. It's the first time I had a scallion pancake that wasn't just straight dough inside/outside, or so thin that it got crisped out. I really liked this texture profile though. The eggplant was 10/10; the eggplant was cooked well, so tender but not soggy. The sauce was really good too such that it was sufficient spice but not flaming. Would recommended. I enjoyed the cucumber salad and tofu as well, but have had better. Seasoning and prep were good though -- although the tofu was cooked so tender (or maybe was silken tofu to begin with) that the whole table was struggling with carrying it from plate to mouth -- heh. Food came out very quickly; staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Decent amount of seating with a cozy vibe. It was a good meal, not my favorite Szechuan spot, but definitely hit the spot.
