I had the opportunity to visit the rooftop of this establishment last Sunday afternoon while visiting Sacramento. It came highly recommended by a local friend. The cocktails, DJ spinning records, and ambience did not disappoint. I had a blast! It should be mentioned that the servers were attentive even though crowded, and Danny Sarmiento and the rest of the staff who manage the rooftop made us feel like welcomed VIP. We came here on a Wednesday evening so it wasn't too crowded. I heard about this place from a friend and they recommended coming right at sunset to see the birds. I had no idea what they were talking about but took their advice and showed up around 8pm. Sun was setting, no birds. We had just about finished our drinks and the sun had just about completely set when flocks and flocks of crows suddenly came pouring into the sky. They all landed around the surrounding trees/buildings and began preening and settling in for the evening! What a cool experience, and this bar has the perfect vibe for it. Cute decor, nice rooftop patio experience, and pretty good drinks. I didn't personally try the food here but on hot days they have cooling mist raining down on guests and it didn't seem like the kind of place to eat for that reason (unless you like your food damp). This made for a fun pandemic outing for me and my girls. Reservations were a breeze and the rooftop setting was perfect (though they may need some heat lamps later in the season!). I got the Dickcissel, my girls got the Classic Tweeter--everyone agreed they were on point. I was super happy with my choice, the burger was delicious and perfectly sized (not a giant, cut in half and maybe eat most) and we got sides of fries which were also yum. Of course we had to order the Maneki Neko, and they brought us small glasses to share, but I'd skip this next time, it was so sweet! Wish they upped their bar game to include more wines and beer, but overall, we had a great time! Vibe was trendy and staff were super fun and friendly. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE! WILL NEVER COME HERE OR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Was told there was a several hour wait and was totally fine with that ..put my name down and went somewhere to grab a bite ACROSS THE STREET because there was a wait and no tables available to sit down. received a text message notifying me that our table wad ready. Walked up within a minute of receiving the text and showed the front person security guard and then was told to go to the back of the line. Went to the back of the line to wait then realized line isnt moving at all and was worried about losing our table. Seen one of the employees and asked if our table was going to be given away and she said it was already given away because we "took to long" and explained to them that we were told to go to the back of the line while showing the text message to prove it. They argued and disagreed and were very rude and did not let us explain the situation and made us feel so uncomfortable. As we were walking away because we were getting no where with their incompetence he stated to the girl "see what i have to deal with on the daily with these kind of people" I will be calling the owner of the security company to make sure that young man receives proper training and learns customer service and active listen skills. As for the girl who works there she also needs customer service training and needs to learn active listening skills. Such a disappointment! If I could leave no stars I would!!!! read more

Spent a lot of money at the bar just to get kicked out even though one of the girls was just sitting on the chair... when we got to the rooftop bar after waiting one hour downstairs and paying a cover fee to get in. I really wanted to like this place. I liked the atmosphere. I liked the energy. I liked the food. There is one critical error that was such a big deal though, that I won't be going back. We asked for club soda to go with our meal and the poor waitress tried repeatedly. Like six times... But the bar wouldn't give us our drinks. This waitress was trying, but the bartender kept prioritizing the other drinks. Eventually a "tonic water" arrived for us to share. My friend and I were just going to deal with it until we took a sip. He asked me after he had a sip, "does this have alcohol in it?" I took a sip, it did. It was vodka. I told him it didn't and dumped it in the planter box next to us then had some words with the bartender and came back with water. He had been six years sober. This is an inexcusable error. There are people on medications that can't drink or it could kill them. There are people like my, a recovering alcoholic, and can't drink. He had a great time, but I just had to lie to my friend so he didn't go down a spiral that doesn't end well. It was in the middle of the day so it's not like everyone is drinking and it's a club vibe. It was lunch on a roof top terrace. I love the concept of this place but if you're serving alcohol, it is literally your job to be responsible and not over serve, and to give someone water when they ask for it. I understand it's a hard job and they are busy. But this is inexcusable. Clearly safety isn't a priority. read more
