My family and I like to make it out here for 1/2 priced games every Wednesday. It's usually not as busy on Wednesday evening like it is during the weekend. Sometimes we have trouble finding parking but it's not a big deal at all. We will power thru the cold or if it's raining! We usually snack and play games. Today we ordered the buffalo wings and the sliders and ribs and the chicken and waffles. It was all delicious. Our 7 year old can devour the sliders! I had a few drinks as well and everything came out to be $70 which isn't too bad considering how much we spend when we usually go out to eat. We're all full and we got to play some games. I've had the bartender serve us a few times. I think his name is desean (I apologize for the spelling). He is always a delight! He's laidback but you could tell he's passionate for what he does. He was asking for our opinions and thoughts on how he made my drinks and on the food. He continuously checked up on us at the booths. This was my first visit to Dave & Busters at this location. My first one-hundredth review, and that makes it fitting I write about all the super fantastic fun filled evening we all had! This place is packed tight with wall to wall people! But who cares it was so much fun. We were starving by the time we got here! As packed as it was everyone was pretty respectful of those around them. That was a shocker! Once we were able to locate a table downstairs we ordered several appetizers. We also had placed our name on the waiting list upstairs for a table. The wait was 1 1/2 hour long! No worries we had calamari, spinach dip, wings, and mega chips to hold us over. The kids ran around and played games. The adults did the same! What a treat to see the kid come out in all the "grown-ups." There are so many games here! You can either put all your winnings on your card or you can have your winnings via the paper tickets. Kids of all ages really seem to enjoy watching the machines pumping out tickets. The bathrooms need an attendant really bad! The ladies restrooms are nasty! Upstairs and downstairs! Poop in almost all the stalls either because no one knows how to flush or they are stopped up. I can only imagine the men's restroom and their bad aim! It's really loud too! You can't hear when they announce your name for seating. I suggest that when you think it's time to be seated you check back in with the hostess upstairs. This way your guaranteed you won't lose your spot at a table. We had lots of people in our party so we were able to enjoy a smorgasbord of food off the menu. Everything was pretty good too don't know why the are rated so bad on the food. This is my review pre-pandemic. In terms of this Dave & Buster's, everything was pretty on par with any other D&B that we have ever been to. My husband and I are avid D&B gamers; we like to go and destroy the Down the Clown and other games for fun. At this D&B, we didn't have any issues. The games were clean (not sticky with soda, alcohol, etc.), the tech staff was friendly, and the cashiers were also super nice at the redemption center. Bathrooms were also squeaky clean. We'll surely be coming back again in the future. read more

They steal the waitstaff. I think she thought we wouldn't know. She added money to our bill for her tip. Not just mines 3 different people checks And also forged someone signature cause their check wasn't signed and added herself a Tip .. and they just think that this is acceptable.. saying they will have a talk with her. .. well normally that is our place to hang. But I have officially had enough. This the second time this has happened to me at the Frisco. Tx Location. And just forging someone signature is a felony I told my daughter to press charges on the girl.. D&B offered our money back but nothing for the girl singing someone name that's a felony. We went there Sunday to watch last week of football. Arrived at 12:15 PM. We were told at the bar that it would not be open until 1:00. We thought that was odd but rolled with it. We were seated in a dining area. The waitress informs us they only have water, lemonade, and unsweetened tea. I asked her what was going on and she just shrugged. I suggested they close their doors until they get whatever is causing them to be hampered fixed. We figured it had something to do with carbonation. I'm not sure if this is a 1 star for Dave and busters or the Yelp app...apparently they don't take reservations. (Which, scrolling through reviews, I see others have the same issue) So we head in at our reservation time with 2 excited 8 year olds only to be told there is a 90 minute wait...we had been at the zoo all day and were hangry, so that wasn't really an option. I will say the tables in the restaurant were nicely spaced and everyone was masked appropriately, so we would have been comfortable eating there minus the snafu with the reservation. Went in to this place tonight with my family of 7. We were hungry at the mall. I walked up to a very bored looking host. He barely paid attention that I was in front of his stand. Not a single person waiting for a table and it was 8:45pm or so. Plenty of visible seating. I asked for a table expecting to be sat immediately and the host quoted me 45-40 minutes... I looked around and saw plenty of tables and no shortage of wait staff. This location used to be great... the host just made up the 45-50 min. We went elsewhere. read more

Spent the evening here, about 2 weeks ago. Went down stairs spent time playing games, and drinking beer, spent close to $100.00 down stairs alone. 3 of the games we tried took my points but never got play time, by the 3rd broken game, I decided to go to the game counter to ask about having points added back to my card, for at least one of the games. The woman helping us snickered at us while we waited, and made no eye contact, just handed me the card and said " here" with a pretty snotty attitude. Making me feel in the wrong for asking to have the points loaded back on the card. Then around 7:45pm went upstairs to ask about billiard rentals. The girl behind the counter said it was 8.00 an hour. At 8:45 we go to pay for our hour and are charged $23.00. I explain to the manager that the girl in the front gave us the wrong price, and that prices should be clearly posted. He said he would refund our play time for pool. He randomly wrote down the last 4 of the card we used... on a napkin, and said he would refund it, and it will take up to a week. That was 2 weeks ago. Never got our refund, and we wont be returning. TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT , and zero follow thru. This location is not run well. I expect some kind of decency from head staff, as dave and busters is not a cheap excursion. The ripoffs start right at the entrance. First they charge you $3 per game card (something which likely costs them nothing). For a family with multiple kids this becomes really costly and again costs them nothing. Then you can't pay for games with money, you have to buy some fictitious currency, for no apparent reason. The exchange rate for dollars to whatevers is also unnecessarily confusing. For example the price is like $22 for 127 credits or $29 for 143. They intentionally don't use any round numbers anywhere to confuse you about the prices. Then on top of that, the prices for the games themselves also make no sense. The game prices are like 9.7 credits or 6.2 credits with decimal places! Why do they need to charge you to the 1/10 of their fictitious currency? Anecdotally, $50 for 3 kids lasted me around 30 minutes. Most of the games charges 10 credits and were over in 30 seconds - especially those ticket-prize games. Of course no matter what you do, you'll end up with unspent money on the card because of the way dollars to credits to game prices don't align at all. The cashier at the front was very rude to us for no reason. My daughter had just gotten a drink at the food court and she rudely made us leave and throw it away - after paying. They are located at the entrance to the food court! Then while waiting for my daughter to throw away her drink, one of my kids touched their decorative rocks and the lady admonished me again for allowing my kids to play in their rocks. This location is pretty nice and has some great updated games! We went here for my husband Christmas party. This place is 2 stories and the whole place was reserved for his company. Their food was good not great but it was buffet style. The staff was great, everyone was really great racing around helping everyone. In their bathrooms they had a maintenance button for their bathroom. Silly me but I think that's awesome if their bathroom is out of paper or something wrong. Even on the upstairs level. Food: (3/5) - I ordered a burger, and it was just okay. I asked for a medium rare and got a medium well. But the fries were good! Service: (3/5) - It was just okay. Wait staff could have been more attentive. Cleanliness: (4/5) - Wasn't spotless but it was overall okay. Good hang out spot: As a restaurant, no. As a arcade, yes! Games were fun. Cool bar, terrible selection of games. The game selection consists of reskinned and half working sweat-covered light gun shite and 60% ripoff ticket games. Not a place for a gamer, injustice was the only fighting game the place has. There is no retro games, or really any multiplayer options. This is an arcade for parents to let kids dump $100 on cheap prizes for an hour or two. It's also loud as shit in there, yet somehow you can't hear any of the games. Alcohol prices are average. I really debated writing this review. Today is my sons 10th birthday. He wanted to come to Dave and busters. I took the day off work and decided to let them have fun at thier favorite game place. We get there and I seen what appears to be a manager asked him about the unlimited play card without having the birthday package since we only have 4 people not the 10 required, he was extremely rude like I shouldn't of bothered asking if we could purchase them for just the 4. I said ok cool doesn't hurt to ask, went a bought the regular play cards. We sit down and im eating a slice of cheecake from cheesecake factory next door(my sons birthday cake is a cheesecake). He approaches me and tells me I cannot eat that here because it's thier competition. I said online it says for birthdays you can bring a cake as long as it's store bought and not ice cream cake. He says nope because it's thier competition(not becauseI didn't buy a birthday package or anything, just it's thier competition). So my son cannot eat his birthday cake even though online it says "all birthday parties" if it specified you have to purchase a package to eat your own cake then I would totally understand, but to place blame on competition?? I just spent $59 x 4 cards and decided to not even order his birthday lunch here because of this. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere if this is how we're treated. I'm surprised to see so many couples and groups, adults with a choice coming into D&B's. After all, it's a kids joint with a steakhouse feel. But to be honest, it's a kids joint that isn't chuckie cheese, but a faux front -- chili's is better. A very large space, with upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs, the restaurant. Downstairs, the gaming. The gaming is what it's really all about. But the games, although really fun and great, are really expensive and quick. Some lasting as short as 20 seconds. You can go thru $40 in tokens in no time, in fact, that's what my daughter and I did. I would go back for the games, after payday, and skip the food. read more

I just had the worse experience at Dave & Buster's (DB). It all started with no host staff telling you to self seat when you are at the bottom level so you are left standing around wondering if you have to wait to be seated. Once I asked, I could only find one clean table. With 4-5 waiters and one manager, you'd think the tables would be cleared more efficiently. The worse part, and shockingly experienced, when I asked the manager who my server was, he responded impatiently, "I don't know" and walked away. His name is JB and is shorter with facial hair. If the manager on duty is like that, it's not a surprise the customer service culture is subpar. Next, when my waiter dropped off the water, he said he would "be right back" to take my order. Well, after watching him walk around aimlessly in circles, he never came back so I left. There you have it. I just lost 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Went there with friends last night to specifically play the new "life" size rock'm sock'm robots and have dinner. We were very disappointed to find the machine kept taking our money but wouldn't play. Found the game dude and he turned the game off. It was off the rest of the time we were there. He did refund our lost credits on the card and even added a few extra but that was the entire reason we went there. We have eaten here many times. Generally I find the food to be middle of the road. Some things are really good and others are not with others being just meh. I had fish and chips last night. Chips were great. Fish had absolutely no seasoning. It tasted like breaded nothing. I enjoy coming to Dave & Buster's! Always a fun time! I don't eat there anymore because the few times I have, it was a bad experience. For for games and drinks, sign me up! I went a few days ago after not having been here in a long while and it looks like the spruced the place up! With new games and drinks on the menu, it's even more fun! To my surprise, the new games they had, we got to play for free to try it out. So fun! I like how the location is in the mall, so you can just go in and have some fun after a day of shopping. The happy hour is great and they also have a late night happy hour which I believe is after 9 or 10pm. Can't remember..but either way, it's a great deal and should be checked out! read more

We had a unpleasurable experience. I want to say up front, my stated reason for yelping is to give those referring to the reviews an honest feel of what a place is like. There is no greater satisfaction than to find a place on yelp go there and declare " a Find" based on the combination of your experience and the reviews that led you there. That being said, this was the worst experience I've had at a restaurant in years. After a movie we decided to play pool and enjoy a hamburger. So we set up and stated playing. Our waitress took drink orders and came back with weak watery iced tea. Ok no problem how bout a Dr Pepper. Ordered a burger all the way with mustard and mayo. In less than 10 mins she brought nothing that resembled what I ordered and when brought to her attention she disappeared never to return! Requested a manager. Nothing after a 10 min wait. This is my second visit and this time was less pleasant than the first. The bartender was sort of rude and inattentive. Coming from a girl who thinks Chuck-E-Cheeses makes for a great date, it's no surprise that I found my D&B experience amazing and exhilarating. Adult drinks, electronic games, and great food, all at reasonable prices. What more could one ask for? I'll preface that this was my first first time to a D&B, so this review is not relative to my (non-existent) other D&B experiences. This place was HUGE - lots of place choices to sit and drink, or sit and eat, or sit and play games, or not sit at all. If you're there hungry, and you want more than play, try the Eat-and-Play Combo (http://www.daveandbusters.com/Eat/Menu.aspx?id=592)! There's 3 levels ($15.99, 17.99, 19.99) - in each, you get a entree, plus $10 in game play! Often times, this equates to only $3-4 more for the $10 game card. Plus, if you register your card (enter in your email at the kiosk at the front desk), D&B will give you $10 to use (unfortunately it can't be redeemed immediately as it comes as a coupon via email the next day). For the play part, if you're a competitive spirit like I, and want as many tickets as possible, I recommend the "Win Tickets" games where you have to hit the stop button as a light moves up and down, or around, a "jackpot," such as the Wheel of Fortune or Cyclone. There's quite a few machines out there with this theme, and the jackpot goes up as other poor souls fail to stop the evasive light at the right time. Search for ones that have 150+ and give it a shot. They normally cost around 2-3 points to play. With my $10, I was able to get about 450 tickets. This doesn't quite amount to anything good from the prize room, so I'm saving it. :) Or you can be more relaxed about your play time and go for the "Classics" such as Pac-Man or Skeeball; or get a little more action with Star Wars Trilogy or Rambo. Don't forget all the ride, drive, fly games too! The prize room has a pretty large selection too (at least compared to Chuck E Cheeses), from D&B branded variety of glasses, to a playable Piano Tie, to an Apple iPad! If you really want the iPad, I recommend you go to your nearest Target (and save 5% with a RedCard); it'll take 200,000 tickets otherwise... which requires you to win a lot of Jack Pots! Given my .45/ticket ratio, it'll cost me $90k to "win" that iPad. No thanks. Either way, go, and have fun. Take the kids, or the cousins, or the parents, or your date. ;) Did I mention full bar and lots of big screen TVs with people running around kicking/throwing balls? read more

This Sunday 4/29/24 at my local Dave and busters, that I have been to countless times before, deeply disappointed me. Me and my friend walk in just to go eat dinner when "Shirley" did not welcome us in, did not smile, did not greet us, just said "you both need to be 18 to be here" she goes on to question both of us asking if we are 18. I am 18 my friend is 17 so she asked us to leave so we left immediately. When we were outside wondering what to do, I wondered if we should mention that we just want to eat, not to play games so we go back but she wasn't at the front so we walked through to the restaurant. The other front desk people were very welcoming and kind and even gave us direction to the dining room. Shirley stops us near the host stand and told us we needed to leave and had no regard for our questions and when we asked if our friend who worked there was there she said he does not work there when he in fact was working that night. She rudely escorted us out. She just made us feel bad and embarrassed. read more

I came here for the first time last week and I had a blast! I came here on a Saturday night with some friends, just for the games. We didn't get any food but I stole some glances at food being served and it looks pretty good - especially the desserts. They have so many games! We spent maybe 3 hours here and the time flew by so quickly. There were still some games I didn't get a chance to try which means I'll have to come back some time. They use a card system to play the games rather than the traditional coins/tokens which is very convenient. The tickets you earned can also be stored on your card so you don't have to carry all of them around which is great. One annoying thing is sometimes the card won't read and you have to slide it multiple times to get it to work, but that's only occasional and a minor inconvenience. The place was pretty packed since it was Saturday night, but on the games floor it still felt very spacious. Also, there was never a line more than 1-2ppl for any game, even for the more popular ones. read more

D&Bs was my fav place to take my kids. They loved it. I loved it. And then the managers ruined it. We have been super-loyal customers for years, starting in to the early 2000's. We have spent stupid amounts of money on games, mostly because they were the only game in town. Some new games , but that weird "3.7 or 5.2 credits" pricing was designed to make it less clear how much cash you were spending. All that went out the window as long as we were having fun. Food has been reasonable both in price and quality. Cocktails fell into the "well, we are out on a date" price point, so I can't really complain. Where D&Bs has fallen grossly short was their response to using those very-costly, highly-expensive credits on products in their "shop." We saved up hundreds of thousands of "points" by being regular customers. We had points that could purchase essentially anything in the in-house store. We bought a camera. The details don't matter. what matters is the managers' response: After shelling out thousands of points for a name-brand camera, taking it home, and using it, we realized that it was broken and essentially useless. We returned it to D&B's within a week of use, showing receipts documenting purchase. The assistant manager was very helpful, saying "we can take care of this." He had to run it up to a higher level of management. This jack wagon decided that "it's not our problem" and told us to take it to the manufacturer. Look, you took out money. You took our tickets. You gave us a product in exchange for your tickets. That product failed. It is most certainly your problem. And I am stunned you couldn't accept responsibility. As such we have diverted our spending money to one of dozens of other competitors. My kids associate D&Bs with sleazy management, so you've lost another generation of customers. All of their gamer friends know that D&Bs essentially steals from their customers. Freeplay, thank you for being a gamer's paradise.
