So I'm normally a huge fan of hot sauce these days, but I wanted to give Dave's Hot Chicken a try. It's located in what we fondly call Restaurant Row in Monrovia that goes all the way into neighboring Arcadia. It stands where the old Applebees used to be, and honestly I feel like when they revamped the building it brought a little bit of life and spice to our little town. The restaurant itself is nice and very clean. The tables and small seating area have aluminum chairs with fire house red paint and I love it! Now for the food! Like I said I can't eat super spice foods much these days, but the spice level are available for you to adjust to your taste preferences. I chose spicy for our cauliflower bites, and not gonna lie--the heat made my nose run! lol which meant it was pretty awesome! My kids had the sliders and I've got to say, it's giving some of my favorite chicken fast food joints a run for their money as far as tenderness and flavor! I enjoyed the cheese fries as well along with a nice helping of pickles. Very yummy with spicy food. The service was fast and friendly and we enjoyed our meal as we ate it in the dining room. The ambiance was a cool 80s music vibe and honestly I'm into it! I definitely recommend Dave's and I'm happy to say, spicy or not, I'll be back for seconds!

One of my favorite locations for Dave's. I have been here more than once. The staffs here were so efficient. They were pretty friendly. During the free sliders day, there was a staff greeting people at the door and instructing customers when to enter. That way it wouldnt get so crowded. Orders were taken and names were called in minutes. I think I was in and out in 20 or 30 minutes at most. This was consider fast compared to other places who offered free stuff/foods, imo. The tenders and sliders were fresh and juicy. No one likes dry chicken. Parking avail Will definitely return to this location

Love this Daves Hot....Flower is a sweetheart...She is kind and helpful..The food we were served was hot,Fresh and Delicious... .Her Manager should appreciate her...She's awesome,helpful and makes all feel welcome upon entering Daves!!!! Place is bright and colorful with all kinds of artwork everywhere. Alex the cashier was friendly and informative. Ordered spicy buffalo loaded fries and my friend ordered chicken strips. My spice was medium and his tenders were mild. The flavors can get hot quickly depending on what you ordered. $15 and was filling decent lunch. Wouldn't probably come too often because it's a lot of fried stuff but to indulge I'd come by for it.

Found the Fallout Survival pack meal ! Food is fresh doesn't have a gruesome wait time . Service is ultra polite fast friendly and just all around great! Atmospherically it's a fast casual restaurant place is clean organized bright and energetic seating is spacious! With a fun vibe .

I came for the fallout meal. I had Dave's in Hollywood few years ago and I remember liking it. However today our food was very dry. The sauce was good. The milkshake was awful. We got the chocolate one and it just taste like syrup. All the workers were nice and hardworking so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of two. I do think they expanded too fast and allow their quality to go down.

During lunch hour on a weekday, I need to order something that is quick and portable in case I have to go back to work! Dave's hot chicken was super convenient and the ordering kiosk helps make my choices more easier. I ordered a couple things for a quick lunch get together: non spicy just in case we share for the toddler and I don't really want to eat spicy Dave #2 Two Chicken sliders (non spicy) with cheese fries subbing the regular side. Extra cost Dave #1 Chicken tenders (2 non spicy) with regular fries Dave's Chicken bites (10 non spicy) After ordering on the kiosk, you can have it email your receipt. Unfortunately, the printing option wasn't working. Once your order is ready, they will call your name. The meals came in trays and the utensils and ketchup can be asked at the counter. Each of the chicken tenders and the bites came with a slice of bread, it was okay and just plain white bread. Unfortunately, I forgot drinks weren't part of the meals so had to go back and order drinks from the kiosk. Another issue was I realized after sharing some of the fries that they forgot one was a subbed cheese fries. So when I went back to the counter, I had to wait a bit since the staff were in the kitchen but luckily one of them saw me and I was able to let them know. They handed me a container of cheese which works as a dip instead of poured over (which is great since the fries stayed crispy). The food was good, we were able to finish within an hour as well! Would definitely come back!

I don't know why this place wasn't full of people when I went close to lunch time on a weekend! Order through the kiosk. Food didnt take long at all. You can choose tbe spice level and it is accurate imo. Service was friendly and helpful. Place was clean. I got the #4 slider with fries and loved it! Its a lot of food for the price which was comparable

This is by far my favorite fast casual restaurant. I came here for dinner and ordered their chicken tender and a side of fries. This restaurant is located in a plaza, so there was ample parking, sufficient indoor and outdoor seating, and I did notice that the restaurant was cold inside. I probably waited about 10 minutes until I got my food. Chicken Tenders (5/5): This was so good! The chicken was super tender and juicy, whilst the breading was the perfect amount (thin and really crispy). I added a bit of honey drizzle on the chicken and that really topped off the flavor, it was delicious! French Fries (4/5): Fries were good, but nothing special. It was crispy and seasoned nicely. I wish it came with a different sauce other than ketchup, I think maybe an aioli sauce would've been the perfection addition to the fries. Overall I really enjoyed dining in here. The food was delicious, staff were nice, and restaurant was clean. It's definitely on the heavier side, so I'd come here occasionally as a treat.

-I've tried this place two times and both times it was not spicy enough for me, it's a little disappointing -The medium spice was not as spicy as hot cheetos -It was still tasty but I would say try hot if you like the spice level of hot cheetos -I was pleased with the size of my chicken -You order from a kiosk, which is nice. yay no human interaction lol -$11.57 for Dave's #4 Slide with Fries, it's not a bad price!!! anywhere you go a meal is like $15-20 now -I will come back to try hot. Hopefully it's spicy enough. xD

This Dave's Hot Chicken is conveniently located in a plaza with plenty of parking, alongside Kohl's and Trader Joe's. I stopped by on Drake's birthday to take advantage of their promotion: a free chicken slider for downloading the app and signing up for their rewards program. Though the line was long, with about a 30-minute wait, it was worth it. The slider looked amazing, with visibly high-quality chicken. I got the mild spice level, which had a good flavor, but it didn't come with any sauce, so it felt a bit dry. Next time, I'd definitely ask for some sauce to add that extra kick of moisture. Normally, one chicken slider is $6.99, so the promotion was a fun perk. I also recommend their combo meals--specifically the two-slider combo with fries and coleslaw, which goes for $14.99. It's filling and, in my opinion, worth the price! The setup inside is bright and vibrant, with a bold graffiti art style on the walls that gives the place a unique, artistic vibe. They have plenty of seating options, including covered outdoor seating and indoor tables, which is great for different dining preferences. There's also a self-order kiosk and a designated pick-up area for third-party and online orders, making it easy for takeout customers.The fountain drink dispenser is self-serve, a nice touch if you're dining in. So I used to always come to Dave's with my family but did not eat meat because I'm a vegetarian so I was just nibble on fries until the not chicken came out and I tried it and I'm so hooked I feel included and I don't even like honey but pouring the honey on the sandwich is so good now I make cauliflower wings at home and I put honey on it just someone bringing up Dave's makes my mouth water so yummy
