got the Dave's #3 combo here, with a slider, a tender, and fries, which also came with texas toast and mayo sauce The tender was all-time amazing, just like last time. They actually gave me two - which was surprising The slider was also incredible - though it was secondary to the tender the chicken piece was a little bit small - especially compared to the tender, but the dave's sauce, pickles, and mayo still made it taste really good it would've been amazing just on its own as well the one thing i have to talk about here - it's my first time getting these - are the fries this was out of this world I don't think I've ever had fries this good in my life. Not just from a fast food place, from anywhere like dude the crunchiness was UNREAL every single pieces, even after it was no longer cold, had the absolute perfect texture i want in a fry. fries cannot be improved from here. it's over it was so amazingly, incredibly crispy on the outside and yet the inside did not feel overcooked at all - it was just perfect adding on to everything, the seasoning! these fries were liberally seasoned with a spice mix that added a perfect amount of flavor. so many fries are seasoned with just salt, but these spices were incredible on the fries if all that wasn't enough, the cup of Dave's Sauce that these came with was a wonderful dipping option Extra Hot was basically the perfect spice level for me - it provided the absolute peak of flavor I can't ask for much more This is random but way to redeem my Reaper experience For the price, this is an insane deal. About 1500 calories of incredible food, in three different varieties, for just about 15 dollars? So good The portion size here was more than enough for a really full meal The only thing I might say is the texas toast was a bit soft, but even that tasted good when dipped in the sauce, so i'm not even sure on that

Didn't expect to enjoy Dave's Hot Chicken as much as I do. Chicken was tender, juicy, and flavorful. For those who can't handle spicy, they offer no spice and lite mild, but heat is a nice addition even if light. They also have the special sauce that's similar to most mayo based sauces, but it's addicting. Service is solid and friendly, each time I go to pick up my order, they let me know their names and to call for them if I need anything. Quite a bit of seating available but somewhat compact. Definitely recommend Dave's #2 because the slider buns are much better than the sliced bread. Tenders are tasty but the slice of bread is bland, white bread that was slapped on the tray.

I wanted to check out the hype and incidentally was in Cap Hill. This place was packed. I wasn't expecting a line on Saturday lunch time. Minimal decor with good seating. The guy taking the order was let's just say doing his job. We got the Dave's #3 with a hot tender and extra hot slider. It comes with fries which are seasoned and real good When our order came about 10 min later it looked really good. And the first bite set the tone. The chicken was juicy and had a decent breaded crust. The spice rub was telling. However I didn't experience that "aha" moment. Questioning if the meal was worth 16 bucks. Tip: You can get Dave's sauce, hot honey and or ketchup with your order. If you write a google review they reward you with a free soda or milkshake. -1 star : They don't offer glasses for water!

Great late night stop as they stay open veryyy late every day. Ambiance is loud and definitely a lot of college kids and teens. We had a group of 3 boys cut the line in front of us and another couple to join their already large group of over 4 boys in front. Oh well but annoying and you'll see the entitlement. We waited in a long line but I felt they kept it moving quick as possible. The employees were friendly and kind. I could see they had more than 4 cooks in the back and they were working hard! Food was mid. For late late night it's good but I think Chikfila has juicer and crispier better chicken. The spice levels were alright. My man got mild and I chose hot. Hot was good but not insanely spicy so def go up a level if you enjoy heat. The spice is not a saucy spicy but like a spice spicy. I did my slider with no Dave's sauce and asked for extra hot sauce packets on the side (they give Louisiana's crystal hot sauce). The fries were nothing special at all and to be honest was my least fav part of the meal. Macaroni and cheese we ordered also was not memorable. For late late night the sandwich was tasty but definitely not a place I'm going out of my way for or going to crave.

Dave's Hot Chicken is a good option for Nashville style hot chicken in the Seattle area. The gold standard is still Howlin' Ray's (in LA) for me. The chicken at this location good, but the dry seasoning was a bit overdone where the chicken was a little bitter and left me with a powdery taste. The Dave's chicken bites were also not seasoned consistently. Some had good seasoning while other pieces did not. This place is busy being in Cap Hill and close to Seattle U. It's also hard to find parking. It's a fast food setup and can be hard to find a table during peak hours. Prices are reasonable for what you get. A 3.5 star experience but rounding down overall for how hard it was to find parking and a table at this place. Stop by if you're in the area, but not something you need to go out of your way for.

I came here a couple times already and I feel like every time it's a hit or miss. The chicken can either be super juicy or super dry depending on the day. Maybe because of how busy they are all the time, but there is no quality control. However, if you're looking for a late night snack or dinner this is the place to be if you're in the caphill area. I love how they give you a lot of pickles and give you a lot of sauce packets if you're a sauce girly like me. When I went, they also had slushy samples, which is was nice.

Fabulous hot chicken slider place!! Visited them post a hike and it was a treat to our taste buds. We ordered their 2 sliders and fries along with 2 tender with fries, spice level hot and extra hot. The hot is great has a good kick to it but the extra hot is not for the faint hearted. Their slider, fries and tenders everything was delish and their dave's sauce adds a great zing to the meal. Service was a tad bit slow but they keep slushies for tasting while your waiting so I aint complaining. They do have plenty of seating and this place is open until 2am on weekdays and 4am on weekends. Seattle needs more of such late night eateries. All in all love this place and il be a regular for sure!

I've been to this Dave's several times and it always has good vibes. It's usually pretty busy whenever I visit, but the staff are friendly and efficient and clearly working hard to keep things moving. The food is consistent and reliably good, and it's especially convenient that they're open late at night.

Dave's Hot Chicken specializes in Nashville-style fried chicken tenders and sliders with their spicy mayo sauce. Overall, the chicken is pretty solid, although the fries can be cooked a bit unevenly. There is a wide scale for spiciness and a medium level here still has some kick. Note that drinks are extra with their combos. Location opens late but parking can be challenging. Looks like a second location opened up in Redmond too.

After hearing about the hype of Dave's Hot Chicken, we had to come and try for ourselves. The line went fast, the employees were kind, and the price was fair. The batter had a great crunch and the chicken itself was tender, but the flavor didn't blow us away as we expected. The seasoning seems like it was mostly cayenne and paprika (not very spicy even though we got Hot for spice level) and the sauce is a bit like thousand island dressing. Overall a good place for a quick bite and is good for value, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I'm sure everyone knows this place already. I got to try it for the first time recently & it is delicious. We came around 9 PM, very hungry, post pickleball. The line was long and it's a war to find seating, but we came out victorious. The food took a reallllly long time to come out (but this was expected). They were handing out little slushie samples to keep people satiated. The pink color lemonade slushie was my favorite. The fries are my number one favorite thing here. They are so oily and seasoned (which is just the way I like it). Make sure you ask for extra extra sauce because it is the best part. I also tried the cauliflower sandwich, which was also delicious, but I defiantly liked the fries more. I needed more pickles with the sandwich. My friends loved their chicken. It came out a little spicier than normal this time. This will be my new go to spot for fries.

I live in Kent and I am a bit jelly ya'll on the hill have this gem. I was tipsy when I stumbled upon it after bar hopping. It was around 10-ish and BUSY but it gives you times to formulate your plan. The ambiance is cool. Very hip and urban. The menu is not complicated which is lovely. Ordered and the wait was only like 15 min or so which equals to me at least, that they have their ish together, at least for that night. I just got mild tenders and fries, extra crispy. While it is as simple as it gets, Everything was amazing and flavorful. Perfect drunk food on your way back from hitting the bar scene up there if you want to make the hike. Sorry Dave's... I waited outside for an hour and thirty minutes just to order this sandwich. I ordered enough food for my girlfriend and I which ended up being over $50 (ouch). Inside was packed, no available seating at all. This sandwich is good but it's not great though, especially considering the price and wait time. The overall vibe of the place is cool, however, the space is very small so when it's busy it's nearly impossible to move around. So, is the chicken worth it? meh. Don't get me wrong, I love Dave's Hot Chicken, but ever since the prices have gone up with the demand for the chicken it's just not really worth it anymore. Dave's chicken is very crave-able, and your first experience there will always be your best. But this is food I can only realistically enjoy 1-2x per year. The medium to hot chicken is really great and portions are generous, but by the end of my meal, I'm always a little regretful. This review is for takeout. Finally got a chance to pick up today and the food is AMAZING! Great tasting chicken, very well seasoned and breaded and the fry on it is perfect. Served with a delicious Cole slaw and sauce and soft, fresh bread. Fries were hot, crispy and well seasoned. It's also great when restaurants actually deliver on the heat: mild is mild, hot is decently hot, and the hottest indeed packs a punch. If you're sensitive to spice go for the mild and you'll still get a damn good chicken experience. Even the pickles were perfect!! Great tasting, fresh, and a nice change of pace for the food scene. Will definitely come back to try the shakes and other sides! Friendly staff and great overall service and experience. read more

Hi there my name is shartqueesha I am fellow customer of Dave's mother flipping hot chicken I love there chicken as a big black queen I love fried chicken it's one of the best kinds of food I could ever eat I love the oilyness of it I love to suck it out the savory tenders. I walked into this store I order my usual chicken sandwich the lady who looked like a meat stick asked me if that was all assuming since im a big built narwhal who's black that I would've wanted more and I said no make that 10 more sandwiches 5 dr pepers and make it quick she took exactly 45 min to make a simple sandwich I could've ate 64 burger before she came out w one sandwich white noodle FAWK . I then grabbed my sandwich and left it wasn't even good that skinny twig couldn't do anything right she looked like she was breaking her knee caps carrying my burger my chicken was bigger then her head FO REAL never again plus I got explosive diarrhea that sent me to the ER don't trust that twiglet read more

Food is top notch just because of the recipe. The fries do come out slightly salty but it's bearable. The sliders and tenders are always bussin. Too bad we gotta stand outside in the cold for a good 2 hours. Hopefully, that'll change soon. The ambiance is nice and their graffiti background is top notch. Service, however, requires some polish; for example, we tried ordering the hot box but they wouldn't allow it -- but we got 10 sliders instead. Make it make sense. If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. Came here around 8:30, ordered 4 meals, but only written down 3. Had to do an online order since the line was butt fucking long. Order said it was done, but the lady said 10 more minutes, we go up after 10 min, she said 15 min. like wtf????? 1/3 orders was also wrong, didn't get us a slider but 2 chicken tenders even tho we ordered a slider and chicken tender. They apparently ran out but failed to mention this before we already paid. Do better. read more

Finally, a hot chicken place worth the money in Washington! This place was packed on a Sunday afternoon. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. Very friendly staff and great portions. We had a long wait but they are still new and the line was out the door. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend giving Dave's Hot Chicken a try next time you're in the area. read more

Dave's Hot Chicken was created by best friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan. Dave, a chef trained in Thomas Keller's (French Laundry) organization set out to create the perfect Hot Chicken by searching, tasting, and frying. The four friends scrounged up $900 to put a tiny stand in an East Hollywood parking lot. The menu was simple, and chicken was the star. And what chicken it is! Sourced and prepared to be the juiciest and most tender imaginable with each piece topped with Dave's own mix of spices ranging from "Mild" to "The Reaper". Arman created Instagram buzz and the lines began to grow. Two nights later, Eater/LA showed up to see what the fuss was about. The next morning's headline read "East Hollywood's Late Night Chicken Stand Might Blow Your Mind". Almost instantly, the lines stretched around the block. A year later, the boys had the money to open a shop in a hip strip-mall with de_cor by local street artists, where the crowds continued to grow with wait-times of an hour and more. From there, the incredibly craveable "Hot and Spicy" varieties have created a cult following with rave reviews across the U.S. and Canada.

In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept -- take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw -- they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long. After 6 months of running the pop-up with long lines, the team took the plunge and opened their first physical store in January 2018 in a sleepy strip center in East Hollywood. Demand for their crave-able hot chicken exceeded all expectations and sales have grown every month since opening with consistently long lines throughout the day.

We each got a combo #3, a slider and a tender and then a side of Mac and cheese and a small chocolate shake. The chicken is huge! Definitely getting your bang for a buck here. Came here on a Friday night around 8:45pm. We're not from the area so we were anxiously following our Google Maps until we spotted the purple lights and saw a big crowd of people standing outside. The parking is really confusing because from what we saw it was only street parking and the roads are very tight. We looped around and got lucky with a decent stall up on a hill. All I can say is the hype is real!!!! After weeks of watching YouTube videos of this yummy chicken I can say it's frickin awesome! I got medium spice level and the hubby got mild. We got 2 sliders and 4 tenders. There was a line, but it moved quickly. The workers were kind and looked happy even though they might of been stressed with the crowd. The place was packed with young adults or kids? who just like all of us- like themselves some yummy hot chicken! When our buzzer went off we grabbed our food (to go) and asked for extra extra Dave's sauce. The worker did NOT skimp and threw in a huge handful (god bless you lol). Best fried chicken I've ever had. So flavorful and just the right amount of spice. Can you guys make a location in Hawai'i?! I'll be your #1 customer haha!! The place also didn't look clean. Tables were dirty, the floor was sticky, and it just felt like the restaurant wasn't being kept up. It was super crowded with long lines and nowhere comfortable to wait. What really bothered me though was seeing some questionable hygiene in the back from one of the staff members, which made me lose my appetite. I think it was the manager, he was an African American male and he was picking his nose and handling peoples food. For a food place, that's really not okay. Overall, not worth the wait or the hype.
