Tabitha quickly responded to my inquiries about getting work done on several pieces of furniture. She came to the house and did some initial repairs on the trimwork on a large antique cabinet. Additionally, I delivered to her a round wooden breakfast table that needed to be stripped and restained and an old bed frame that had a broken spindle between the posts. While I had a basic idea of what I wanted, I debated getting a formal project manager to handle coordination of the full install. With a ton of experience doing this kind of install, Marcus helped out so much that I was pretty much able to handle coordination of the main pieces and personnel without needing to hire anyone else. He did a great job making the vision come alive and was transparent with any problems that arises (and importantly fixing them when necessary). He was friendly, fair with pricing, and also very quick-- framing and installation took only 2 separate, spread out days (to allow for drywalling and parts arrival in between). My personal experience with him in terms of communication was excellent, but I also purposefully avoided peak summer season so as not to catch him at a busy time. I did a lot of research on artificial turf companies servicing the Brushy Creek area and after some shopping around, came across Umesh and KG Lawn Care. After receiving some ridiculous quotes from some of the "bigger" artificial turf companies, offering a lower grade of turf for a substantially higher price, I went forward with the project with Umesh and KG Lawn Care. Umesh took on my project of installing approximately 1000 sqft of artificial turf, metal edging, and black star gravel around some cypress trees. Roughly a month before starting, I expressed to Umesh my desire to have the project completed in time for our family's annual crawfish boil, which he assured me he would fulfill. I can't say enough positive things about Umesh, Lucas, and their crew. As we neared the date of my family's party, Umesh assured me that he would push to make the deadline, even with unpredictable central Texas weather. Umesh not only kept to his promise in finishing the project in time for our party, but also knocked it out of the park! The artificial turf looks incredible and instantly became my daughter's favorite place to play. Umesh and his crew put a level of detail into the project in ensuring every aspect was perfect for my family. As pleased as I am with the project itself, the most noteworthy aspect I want to highlight in this review is how Umesh does business. He has hardly finished 25% of our work. I would definatly stay away from him. Beware do not give him any depoists before the work is completed. I forgot to add that we had an offical contract signed by both parites agreeing on the payment schedule for 50% down before the start of the work and 50% at completion and mutally agreed contract pricing and terms. How can you trust someone to give more money if they are not truthfull to the agreed terms? I dont want to post the signed contract on this page but if anyone would like to ask feel free to reach out. He doesnt understand what a contract agreement means.
