Well, this kinda thing I'm facing for the first time. And that's called out of state moving. I've needed my one bedroom to be delivered 3000 miles away, and not only that, I've also had a delay in my new apartment, so Alan and team were really really handy with that. So what happened, out of blue I've decided that I'm done with California and left for good to Florida. And here I am, staying on Atlantic coast but all my stuff back in Cali. Had to find someone. And that's where yelp become really handy. Quick search - and voilà. Simple case moving answered all my questions within an hour of my request, even though it was weekend evening. Isn't it a good sign of hard working guys? Exactly. Now here is Hella of a service, cuz I haven't even been present in my old apartment in Newport Beach. I was in Florida, while movers packed my apartment. The company agreed to receive a key by mail, and even drop it off at leasing office. O U T S T A N D I N G ! Then they put everything in their storage for couple of days, and when I was ready they started moving cross the country. I thought it gonna take a week or so, but no, it was a matter of couple days. simple case is a horrible company to move with. they will give you a cheap rater but you will pay for it in the long run. do not use this company. Just a few of the issues that we encountered were: 1) Didn't bring a big enough truck after we went over an intro call going over what was being moved- customer service took no accountability and said it isn't their responsibility to have a big enough truck 2) damaged items 3) the crew that they contracted and sent out was unprofessional 4) the foreman of the crew sat in his phone for over three hours 5) we were quoted 5-6 hours for a three bedroom home move- took 9 due to the above. 6) we had to rent a U-Haul to finish moving our things. the crew refused to go back for what didn't fit 7) the crew left all of our boxed items in the garage they refused to take them to the labeled rooms. overall the worst moving company we have ever used. Custimer service takes no accountability and won't make the issue right. Save yourself a huge headache and use any other company, and especially one who doesn't contract their work read more

Yikes! Simple Case moving is not a moving company, they are a moving contractor. They will show up in un-branded shirts, un-branded trucks, and cannot guarantee that their trucks will fit all that you listed when you booked with them. Everyone gets a different moving crew, they cannot guarantee who will show up to your home. The moving crew that we got in South Orange County did a horrible job, broke furniture, put my daughter's bed back together incorrectly, and were unprofessional. They are so incompetent that they didn't even have a box knife on them and used my cheese knife that was sitting on the counter to cut open plastic wrap to retrieve their "free" moving pads. Once we brought the issues to their attention they refused to take accountability and just said "we will review if we work with this crew in the future". I would not recommend using Simple Case moving unless you plan on having a job half-done. The only positive thing I can say about them is that they are cheaper than other companies in my area, but it's not worth the hassle. read more

Genuinely Zack and his team did an amazing job. Moving my 4 bedroom house into a 3 story town home was a huge job. they were working hard from 9 in the morning till 9 at night making sure I was set up. They even were able to move my large washer and dryer up 3 sets of narrow stairs to get them in their new home too. Honestly insane they were able to do that. I was very skeptical and ready to leave the washer and dryer behind, but they got it done and were willing to remove the old washer and dryer down the stairs for no additional cost which was so kind after a long day. Simple Case moving was hired in May to help me move from a 3 bedroom townhouse to a 3 bedroom home. They gave a reasonable rate, I think one of the cheaper ones in Irvine, CA. However; you get what you pay for. They were very slow, did not handle our items with care, and one of the movers became disgruntled when I told him we only had one mounted TVs for them to take down saying " I planned my day around you telling me two". It was clear that the moving crew that showed up wanted to get a full eight hours out of us, and did not care about doing a quality job or an efficient job. An amazing team ....Andy and Sam ....came out to my storage unit today . I needed to downsize to a smaller unit ....but, I still had many boxes to move. Some of my things needed to be re boxed more securely, also. Andy and Sam worked quickly and efficiently to get my things packed, handled and transported to my new storage unit. Do not use this company. they contract out their work and cannot gaunter what moving crew you will get. The crew that showed up didn't bring a big enough truck and refused to make multiple trips. They took over 9 hours for a 3 bedroom home after being quoted 5. Broke multiple pieces of furniture and the customer service team won't help rectify the situation. We hired movers expecting everything to be moved and ended up needing to rent a a UHaul to finish the move ourselves. read more
