Delish! Got the fennel sausage wood fired pizza but substituted for an oil and herb base! Great choice while between games at All Star Village. Sat at the bar and had great service! Highly recommend.

Food is amazing and staff is attentive. It's gets crowded fast so either make reservations or arrive when they open. Eric the chef is great and I love that they have something new to try every time I come. The specials are usually up my ally so I enjoy the new dishes.

This was a small out of the way italian spot that was deceiving on the outside but warm and welcoming inside ! The food was outstanding !! I ate at the bar since I was solo and enjoyed the company of folks around me.. the food was homemade and superb, felt like being in my grandma's kitchen. Highly recommend !! Service was great and very helpful.

The food was really quite delicious. It's a bit on the pricey side but that's what you get for eating this delectable food! We had the duck, steak and Seneca Pizza. We also had scallops as an appetizer. The crème brûlée was really delicious for dessert. The portions were a bit small for the price. But this is a nice place to go to impress your date or when you simply want a special treat.

The only true 5 Star I've come across in this part of NY. Beautiful farm country with this gem hidden away in a very old building that once housed a bakery. Small parting lot in the back on the outskirts of town. Nice, simple decor in warm tones. Kitchen is partially exposed from the bar and one dining area. Dazzo's has a wine bar with a small selection of draft & bottled beers. The staff is hip friendly and very knowledgeable about what they serve. As for the Food........ One would expect quality ingredients in this farmland area, but the chef creates a very interesting, planned out variety of rustic European cuisine. We tried an assortment of small plates, entrees, and desserts. Everything was very good to excllent. The hanger steak with caramelized onion polenta cakes and grilled bok choy was a Home Run! Pork loin with herb stuffing, cipollini onions, parsnip mash and apricot puree was a fine tuned, melding of ingredients. Pork loin can have a slightly dry bite or two which is easily rectified with that mash and puree. Just to look at the home made pappardelle pasta going by to another table is enough of a reason to order it. It looks perfect and one bite later it is perfect. Covered in a slow cooked beef-pork ragu with cream and Parmesan cheese, and now we are seeing the love put into the food. Brussel sprouts wood fired in duck fat, pancetta, and a fried egg sounded amazing but was (very surprisingly) a little dry. The delish meat, egg & salty flavor was there, but we needed to add a little olive oil to it. One stand out was the roasted garlic hummus. It was served with roasted long hot peppers with a Naan type bread. A robust hummus! Only item we would not get again is the wood-fired oysters. Although seasoned superbly, it's a small oyster and a small order at that for the price. P.S. the creme brulee was better than what's served in the fanciest of Manhattan restaurants. Go to Dazzo's if you want the full package. Go hungry and try as many items as you can. Or just keep going back. Either way, if you enjoy a great food experience, enjoy Dazzo's. P.P.S. reports that the handles on the forks were too skinny were unfounded. We had no issue twirling our pappardelle ( LOL)

I cannot stop thinking about the incredibly dinner I had last night at Dazzo's. Beautifully designed space, comfortable, welcoming staff. The Americano was amazing, the Brussel Sprouts and Focaccia were exquisite. I ordered the Ravioli and was transported to heaven. And dessert? There are no words. I must go back, I cannot stay away!

And it's not just the creative food, the outstanding wines, or the accommodating service. It's the one thing that all great restaurants have: an absolute commitment to making sure each customer has a fantastic experience. You can serve all the tasty food you want, but without that commitment, you'll always be good and not great. It's something these folks understand. I'm guessing it's also why everyone - and I mean everyone - we saw in the restaurant during our last visit had a big smile on their face. So yeah, we could recommend the outrageously delicious Balkan platter, the innovative pastas, or the proteins with avant garde flavor combinations. We could talk about the deep, rich wines from Croatia and Slovenia. We could muse about the modern surroundings with rustic touches. But all of that is subservient to the main point here: This is a great restaurant operating at the top of its game. It's worth the visit. It's worth a detour. I know - the secret will be out. But these folks deserve it.

This being the closest restaurant to the Railway trail, with decent reviews and casual dress code,…read moredecided to ome in just at sunset on a Saturday for dinner. Cheerfully greeted by a nice person who was thrilled someone was trying her restaurant for the first time. Seemed it would be a pleasure! Banter! Joy! The location is adorable - an historic inn with lovely interior stone walls a nice bar, a dining room hung with farm implements and your usual skinny staircase and sunny porch. Absolutely thrilled by the continental and sometimes quirky selections (sweet and sour schnitzel? Why not!) Ordered quickly, letting the waitress know of time constraints. Half an hour later she brought the salad course. An hour after that, the manager or maître d' -- she never said but she did clearly have some authority and was the boss of the waitress--stopped by to inform the table that the delay was potato pancakes. The chef had apparently felt compelled to make a whole new batch of potato pancakes from scratch. And therefore it was our fault the food was taking so long. This would make sense if the table next to us wasn't also waiting twenty minutes for buffalo wings. And if our waters had been refilled. And if there were apologies rather than resigned excuses. The explanation landed like a desperate attempt at humor as the Titanic made a turn directly for the iceberg. No offer of even a comped cup of coffee, not a glass of wine, or even a sincere wish that things would go faster. We could do nothing but feel sorry for her and her staff in this wonderful little local inn and wonder who the monster was who is running the kitchen -- my beef stroganoff was terrific but the plate that made us late held a couple of small sausages, a large scoop of red cabbage and three jam-lid sized mashed potato fritters which could just as easily have been replaced by literally any starch... it was ninety minutes start to finish in this bizarre mystery of a restaurant. Was the chef on strike? Having a bad day? His front of house worked so very hard to cover for him. I have only sadness for this glorious little place - my favorite kind, locally owned, delicious dishes, deep pours. But I will only go back when I don't have a long drive ahead of me -- or perhaps for a laugh with people from the City who don't know how to slow down.
