So I have been coming to De Lacey for about 20 years, I never wrote a review before Idk why but now I had to Vicky did my Gel manicure and Lisa did my basic pedicure. Vicky for some reason wasn't happy with two of my nails in the manicure so she redid them while Lisa took a long time to do my pedicure, they were perfectionist, not only that I wanted a specific color so they spent time with me until I got what I wanted. I was so happy that I left almost 50% of the cost of the services. I'm not rich but I work on customer service so I can complete appreciate their hard work. Thank you so much ladies. Oh man, where do I begin?! I love love love this place. Wholeheartedly. All the ladies are so welcoming and kind, and I always look forward to seeing them and laughing with them. I've been a loyal customer for the past 3 years and I wouldn't have it any other way. My toes never look sexier than after I come to De Lacey, and I always feel like they're giving me their best. Always so accommodating. But the star for me here is Anh. Ask for her if you want your nails complimented by all your friends and strangers. I'm so sad. My family has been coming here for years and today the woman who did my nails ( never seen her before) cut the bottom of my foot and didn't tell me or put alcohol on it. I just found out when I got home. She also cut my toe, showed me and didn't put alcohol on it. The instrument she uses (looked like a cheese grater) she put in the plastic bag like I've seen them do before for trash and used items, then pulls it out cleaned it in the water my feet were in and put it in her cart to use again. Honestly a great place to come and get your nails done. The interior is beautiful with high ceilings and the parking is super convenient and plentiful. After two days the polish on my manicure started coming off so I removed the polish and the gel was not completely off. Some nails had quite a bit and obvious. My nails became more damaged with the gel still on. I asked several times, please make sure the gel/glue if off- that's the reason I called, explained and came back in. They should have done a complimentary manicure because I had to come back in, but instead was asked if I'm getting a manicure. Best place and only place to get your nails done in Pasadena! It's $40 ($25 for a gel manicure + $15 for a regular pedicure). The ladies here work quick so you'll be in and out within an hour. I usually request for Linh or when booking my appointment. She is real sweet and meticulous so your nails will be in good hands with her. There's a parking garage across around the corner, but plenty of street parking if you come in the morning. (Meters are free between 8am-11am!) read more

We did a walk-in appointment on a Tuesday morning, and they were able to immediately accommodate two pedicures. Excellent deluxe pedicure. First time I went here, my gel manicure and regular pedicure took three hours. Second time I came back and they assured me 3 hours was not normal and if it was busy, max would be 90mins. After over 2 hours, I'm not happy with the quality or the end result. I asked the technician multiple times to cover the edges. Two nails got smudged which she fixed, but a 3rd looks terrible and all the edges are awful. I told them I was unhappy at the end and they said they could fix them by filing them, but I was so frustrated I declined them trying to fix anything because I don't trust it will look better. It's obvious that the problem is poor paint coverage and the edges are SO messy. Plus, I specifically asked for gel and reg paint that would match and I basically got coral nails and orange toes. I received a 10% discount, but honestly it's not abt the $. It's being told they look okay when they obviously don't and having a poor second experience. Not coming back. read more

We had an appointment and they weren't on time. We waited for about 35 mins. For my Gel x, 2 ladies worked on it, one to apply/glue the tip, one to put on the gel polish. They were rushed and my nails started to lift/pill after 1 week. They didn't do a good job cutting the cuticles and it kinda hurts when she filed my nails. Bad quality tips. I highly recommend her and frankly, everyone here is so kind and top-notch at what they do. They truly care for their customers and strive to be professional and kind to everyone. Maintaining excellent protocol with safety precautions , i.e., masks, frequent hand washing between customers, etc., during the pandemic.
