They cut my nails precisely, they gave my legs a nice massage along with some nice hot stones, and I really enjoyed the person who did the service for me. They are all really nice and are quick on responding when it comes to appointments. There is no longer an expert in this shop. The first visit was in the evening so I couldn't see well because I was tired. The French nail I received that day was the worst. The second visit was at 2 pm and they seemed very relaxed. I wanted a gradation nail and picked two gold glitter colors, but only one color she brought. She did not understand my request. I didn't even give me a chance to pick a different color without telling me that I didn't have the color I picked. And he started coloring at his own pace. If there was no color, we would have to remove it from the sample and choose a different color. I paid $ 115 without a tip today. It is better to donate to another place. Kim was my nail technician- I observed how she continually made sure that my nails were to my liking and evenly shaped / designed. instead of choosing from the color palettes available I showed her a photo of something similar to my wanting and she made my nails look 10x better! she was super sweet and even asked a few times if I wanted anything to drink, which I appreciated because she appears really caring towards her clients. the price totaled $60 for a new set of acrylics-- ombré pink to white, almond shaped; definitely reasonable and worth the spend for the service and hospitality! thank you Kim! So I came here on a random fluke Thursday after work. I called ahead of time to see if they had any availability to squeeze me in for a fill that was long overdue. The lady was able to squeeze me in and was able to be seen the same day. As I entered the store..... WOW, they have walls on walls of color selection that you can choose from, it prolly took me a good 15 mins to finally choose the color I wanted & Kim was able to see me right away. I was referred by my cousin who is a frequent client of this nail saloon so I took the risk & man I was not disappointed at all! Kim did such a fantastic job on my nails! Her work was incredible & she even put a little attitude on my nails to match my personality! I've been on the hunt for a new nail tech and two salons later..... I've been here twice. The staff is very friendly. You get 2 mimosas with your service. The first time I got a manicure. Lasted a good 2 wks. The only complaint is that 3 of the gel colors I wanted were not available. If the colors are not available, I wouldn't keep them on the color palette that is given to the customers. Odds are, they'll choose a color that is not available. After the 4th attempt on choosing a color, it was available. I went in for the second time because although the colors were not available, the nail technician said they were getting new colors in. My manicure lasted 2 wks so I forgave the inventory mix up & gave them another shot. This time they had my first color selection. I also got a pedicure & they used hot stones on their basic pedi which was a plus. Staff has always been very pleasant but the reason I only gave 3 stars is because I feel like this is a hit or miss kind of shop. The manicure did not last. After the 3rd day, the gel was lifting & by the 5th day, the gel was almost completely off all nails. I didn't contact the shop because I went out of town a couple of days after. The entire trip, I was in dire need of a manicure. I don't think I'd go back. Wouldn't want to risk another bad mani. read more

She didn't rush my mani or pedi and I needed some major clean up work! She gave me good feedback on how to treat my nails based on the condition. And she talked me into a new shape for my natural nail that I would have never tried, but absolutely love!!! This place really is above par. Go check em out! You won't be sorry. Nothing but good things to say about this salon. I called last minute to get in. I was lucky because it was mid-day on a Thursday so I got in. The customer service is above par. They offered me a mimosa and were very nice and accommodating. They have the largest inventory of polish colors ive seen in any salon. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because they were unable to do the design I wanted but I was still super happy with how it turned out. Let me start this simply: I am a loyal customer and like clockwork I go every 2 weeks for an acrylic fill and a pedi and have been for over a year now since i moved to norcal from Los Angeles. Why? De Paris is WONDERFUL. I will start with the elephant in the room: the fact that their prices are a little more expensive than others- I assure you that it is with absolute good reason. Let me explain: 1. This nail place is never overly packed past capacity like other places, nor is it loud or filled with people yelling across the room in different languages. The ladies speak English and are polite and corteous. 2. They are extremely accomodating. I have called an hour before hand and been able to make appointments. I have called in to let them know i'll be 10, 20, or 30 minutes late and im always still fit in. 3. The hospitality! They will give as many pillows as you need to feel comfy in the recliner for pedis and will offer to top of your mimosas whenever they see youve finished. Want to swap to a hot tea, cold water or something else? They've got you. 4. The work is wonderful- i've posted pictures of some of my acrylics i've had done here. No pictures of my pedis but i will say i have always been pleased regardless of worker and have never ONCE been cut by anyone here, and thats amazing in itself. and finallyyyyyyy.... 5. Kim, the owner and the wonderful ladies working there... Kim. She is so SO sweet and has made me feel welcome since day 1 that I stepped in her shop. Shes so lively and fun and always great to catch up with- and not only do i have great conversations with her but i also do with many of the employees aswell! The atmosphere feels comfortable and open to friendly banter with pals and I think thats priceless- the fact that they are all people with names and a story i know and that I'm a name with a story to them too. One of my girlfriends introduced this place to me yesterday and I looovveeddd it! We walked in for 2 gel manis without appointments on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and were accommodated right away. They offered us mimosas and they were delicious (I believe they're cranberry flavored)! While the nail techs were getting their supplies ready, my friend and I were looking at the walls of nail polish to figure out what colors we wanted. I opted for a nude for everyday wear. My nail tech's name was Loan and she was very sweet. Tbh, I never get my nails done (I think I've only gotten them professionally done once in my life) and I'm not too familiar with the "correct" process. But here's how my experience was: 1. She had me dip my nails in a small bowl with warm water, then trimmed and buffed my nails. My nails are naturally shaped like a rounded square, but I asked her to square it off for me and she did just that! 2. She put cuticle cream and pushed back my cuticles with ease. I loved that she didn't start hacking away at my cuticles, the only time she pulled out her trimmers were to cut off hang nails or dead skin buildup. 3. Next was some kind of toner or cleanser for your nails to prep it for the nail polish. Then she applied the primer and at least 3 coats of gel polish (obviously with curing in-btwn). 4. Then it was on to the hand/arm massage! She massaged in reaaaaally warm lotion on my hands and arms, and then wrapped my arms with a reaaaaally warm towel (borderline piping hot). Felt good but I was thrown off guard haha. Total for the service was a bit of a splurge at $35+tip for a basic gel mani (but c'mon...complimentary mimosas and spa treatment!). After the visit I noticed verrrryyy small air bubbles on 2 fingers, but it wasn't a big deal. I was bummed that I didn't get to meet the owner, Kim, that everyone raves about. We came in around 2:30,and no one even greeted us for at least one minute. There were so many people walking around, and sitting around, eating tamales in the chairs, chips, fruit, gift bags, children.. This is NOT the relaxing SPA that I thought I was coming in to... We are told there would be a little but of a wait since they are having a private party that was supposed to end at 2pm. As I try to find an empty seat to wait, I am told no not there,... um.. ok.. then Where? Was I offered Champagne? No! Candy? No..! Rose petals in your Pedi water? NOPE Spa pedicures with massage chairs? No, you will have your feet placed in a large Metal Bowl while sitting on a reclining chair with footrest. Honestly, this establishment was nothing as I had expected. I thought I was coming into a classy nail salon for a relaxing spa experience. It was quite the opposite. Just a suggestion, If you decide to have a private party at a nail salon, It might be nice to shut the place down for the 2 hours you promised them, and give them your full attention and then taking care of the appointments you scheduled, instead of making your appointments wait over 1.5 hours to be tended to. What is the point of an appointment? The gem of the establishment was Yvonne. Yes, You heard that right. My experience with Kim differs from the rest of you. WHAT!?!? Not only am I thrown into this Chaotic Baby shower mix I can not even get my nails done by who I had requested. I can go on and on about the service and atmosphere here, But I could end up writing a novel. The 2 stars awarded to De Paris Nail salon are for 1. CLEAN tools. They even change the sanding tool before each client 2. Yvonne was kind and shaped my nails exactly how I wanted. Mye did my 3d designs and they turned out nice. Her attention to detail are great I really wanted to make this my new Nail salon. I wouldn't mind paying more for the service i was led to believe was provided here, and the extra amenities that are supposedly offered here. Well, they weren't offered to me and I can get much better service elsewhere for cheaper. My boyfriend recommended this place (since I'm not from this area) after reading yelp reviews and I thought I would give it a try. When I first walked in, they greeted me with smiles and asked what services I was interested in. I told them I needed a color change and they directed me to their selections of regular nail polish and gel polishes. I wanted a gel color change and I was impressed by their selection. They have many different brands of gel nail polish and in different colors. After I picked my color, An (the manicurist), offered me a beverage. She asked how my day was going and we engaged in small talks. She was very professional and very friendly. What I liked most about An's work is how she asked what I liked, from the shape of my nails to the color intensity of the nail polish. She also suggested in using a mood gel color nail polish on my ring finger (color changes upon temperature). I was really happy I followed her suggestion because my nails turned out really nice. She was patient with my designs and made sure the color was evenly polished on each nail. She did not rush her work and made sure I was satisfied before I left the salon. Yesterday was my first time at De Paris, and I absolutely love this place. Other than getting an appointment last minute, the first thing that stood out to me was the amount of nail techs they had staffed. There's nothing worse than walking into a nail salon and seeing no more than 5 techs on hand. All of the staff were very friendly. Yen, the lady who did my nails is great. She seen two nails that weren't straight from the previous place I went to, so she fix them right up; now all my nails are beautiful and straight. The pedi area is also nice. They have a large row of reclining chairs. Downfall is the chairs are not massaging chairs... but...!Yen made up for that during the leg and foot massage; I was in heaven. Ooh, and let me not forget about the two complimentary mimosas you get; that's also a plus. The entire experience at De Paris was extremely delightful, but it is pricey. For a fill and gel polish it's $35. I'm ok with the pricing for the fill and polish as it's pretty comparable to other places. The pedis on the other hand I feel are a little pricey. The most inexpensive pedi is $30 and that's without gel. I also had my 15 yro daughter with me that wanted her nails polished. For gel polish her service came out to $20, which I feel is steep. So with a $15 tip this visit cost me whopping $100. All and all this is a great place. I wanted to take off only half a star for pricing, unfortunately Yelp only allows full stars. I'll definitely go back when I need that pampered feeling, just not sure this will be my regular spot- especially with all the other services us ladies do with hair, eyelashes, facials, etc... I had a gel manicure and regular "Rose" pedicure by Kelly. She is fairly new and has only been working at the salon for a couple of weeks, but I highly recommend her services. She is very thorough and meticulous. My whole visit was about 3 hours, but I didn't even mind because it was my first day of maternity leave and have been waiting a long time for a day of rest, relaxation and pampering. Just a few notes: - Big bowls of water are used for pedicures, which feel so much more sanitary. - They offer mimosas, tea, water, etc. as refreshments. - They also give you a plate of miniature chocolates to snack on during your pedicure. - iPads are available at each pedicure station. I've been used to doing my nails with acrylic powder. I've been looking for a place that does something more thin and natural. A friend recommended DeParis Nail Salon because they do a new style call "lynth gel", which is gel on top of your natural nails. I was hesitant at first because of the pricing, but i gave it a shot. It turned out very natural looking, thin, and hard. Just the way I like. It's long lasting as well, so it's really worth the money. They also have mint pedicure and I can surf their IPad while getting my pedi's. The place is very clean and easy on the eyes. My main issue was that I asked for coffin shaped but ended up getting a mixture of square and coffin shaped nails. This nail place is amazing!! Tina is bae! I called yesterday after reading some of the good reviews of this place. I wasn't willing to commute to the nail place I go to, and I was kinda disappointed with the last few times with how my nails looked. I called and was able to score an appointment for a full set. Note: this place is appointment only. I came in a couple minutes early and was asked to sign in and take a seat. Tina came in and set up her station. She asked if I wanted a mimosa and I said why not. It was delicious! Need to get the recipe from them lol. Tina is superb. She's easy to talk to, and is excellent at nails! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she pretty much replicated it! She really took her time shaping my nails and making sure they that they all were the same length and shape. There were some kids that were causing mayhem in the store and I'm pretty sure that irritated her but regardless she did a great job with that craziness going on. The last time I got a full set it kinda hurt and felt really odd on my nails, and she didn't take the time to do the things Tina did. I was having a cough attack during my appointment. Tina stopped her work to get water and a candy/cough drop, which I thought was very sweet! I am so happy with my nails! They look absolutely beautiful. I'm really happy with this salon. We watched a whole season while we were in there - it was pretty nice. -Kim even offered to open a bottle of champagne for us to celebrate my wedding but we turned it down because it was a bit early for us. -I requested Kim to do my nails and they turned out great and they've lasted longer than usual. I got a pink and white full set with a design. -They had an amazing selection of colors for "Shellac/Gellish" manicures. I can't wait to go back and try those. The bad: - We got to our appointment on time, but unfortunately two of the manicurists didn't. By the time my nails were started, one of my bridesmaids was already finished. - Their chairs were very comfortable but they were not massage chairs. I was looking for a new go-to nail salon in Fremont and after yelping the area, I decided to give this place a try. I made an appt on a Friday and came on time at 4pm. They were busy and were turning away walk-ins! Vi did my mani/pedi and it is by far the best mani/pedi I ever had. Sure it was more expensive than your usual nail salon but for a few dollars more you get pampered for at least an hour. Vi was very meticulous and detail oriented and my gel mani turned out flawless. She also took at least 30 minutes massaging my legs/feet. I feel like in most other places, they rush your service especially on busy days but here I feel like Vi was in no hurry at all. I guess not taking in walk-ins could be a plus for the customers. The place can use a bit of organizing and updating as it looked and felt cramped and unkept. I feel bad for giving 3 stars because everyone is really nice and they do offer great services like 2 free mimosas and a massage with your pedicure. However I had quite high expectations especially because this was for my wedding and the cost was really high for my acrylic nails and pedicure ($130 total). 2 of my finger nails are slightly crooked, if you are really detail oriented like me then it could bother you. The rhinestones I had on each nail weren't completely aligned and she laid all the glue onto the nail, then applied the rhinestones so now you can see all the glue. I brought this to her attention but she said it's because she wants to be sure the rhinestones don't fall off (which is understandable) but then you can still see all the glue... also, you can still see my nail on the corners of each nail so they aren't completely filled. Again, they are all very nice but I just expected way better quality for how much I paid. From a distance, the nails look really nice so that's what matters for wedding photos. I was also here for 3.5 hours which is way longer than I expected. If you're just looking for a salon for day to day nails and to relax, then this could be the place for you. However I wouldn't recommend this salon if it's for a special day like your wedding. read more

This place was way overbooked when my sister and I arrived for our 11am apt. Most of the tables (4/5) for manicures were taken and you can see they started on those clients not to long ago. Thankfully I only waited about 5 mins to start, but my sister had to wait over half an hour. A little ridiculous if you ask me, since we had apts. Thankfully, they had Modern Family playing on their two big TVs to make the time go by a little faster. When I sat down, my manicurist Vi, kindly offered me a drink. After coming back with just a bowl of water to begin the manicure, I gently asked if this is the Margarita Manicure ($20) I requested for my appointment. She looked a little surprised then said excuse me and went back to get other items for the manicure. Therefore, remind your manicurist which treatment you requested before they start. It seems like the give you a default one if you don't say anything. Aside from those two hiccups in the beginning, the rest of the experience was great. Again the TV was a nice touch, so I could enjoy the manicure without much conversation. The treatment of the rub and hot towels was ok (have had better). They also ask that you go wash your arms/hands in the bathroom after the rub before beginning the manicure. Other places use the hot towels to help you wipe off (which I think I prefer). Vi was super nice and gentle while taking care of my nails and I think she did a great job. I would definitely go back to her. The amount of gel polish and other color polish choices here was impressive, and the fact that they can do such nice nail art is definitely a plus. Service was great, and the place was pretty clean. The TV, comfy chairs to wait on (if there's no one doing a pedicure), and the ipads for entertainment were definitely a plus. Despite the hiccups, I would still give this 4 stars for their great service. I think I'm finally finding a well prices, great service nail salon I like in Fremont. For gel/shellac nails you add an additional $15- so my total for Margarita manicure with gel color was $35. read more

This salon is very clean and friendly. The service is great. I'm offered water to drink while I wait and kept company with iPads installed in the chairs. So cool! The decor is very chic and modern and not like other nail salons. The nail techs are willing to do any design I ask for and willing to work with me to create something funky. The gel polish lasts FOREVER! If you're going to have to sit in a salon for a long time to get your nails done, might as well do it here where it's comfortable and inviting and there's plenty of entertainment (for husbands and bfs as well while they wait) and you'll also walk away with pretty nails that last a long time. I can't believe I've never reviewed this place. Kim is amazing! She was so easy to talk to--it really felt like we were friends for forever. I really enjoyed her company. I wish I got my nails done more often but I don't. Would love to come back here when I do! There was one time that we were so deep in conversation that we both forgot that I needed to pay and we laughed it off. She was so sweet about it and I paid on the next visit. I guess I just expected too much from the reviews... Bestie and I had planned on coming in like 3 months ago, but because they were completely booked, we left to our next place (also found via yelp.) We came here on the 21st of June. We were immediately greeted by Kim. Since we were walk-ins, they had to squeeze us in 45 minutes later. No problemo. We just walked around and got ice cream. When it was out turn, Kim got us water ad champagne, but I really wanted a tray of sweets like everyone else. (my inner 3 year old!) I had warned my tech (Tuyet, I believe) about my prior experience in NY with a woman cutting my finger and how I get nervous when my cuticles get cut now. She still ended up cutting WAY too deep on my right thumb AND my left pinky. They were both bleeding and sore for the next week.. What surprised me even more is she didn't bother stopping. She just kept cutting away. After my left hand, she worked on the right... then went back to the left. wtf. After she was done, she started cutting off the skin behind my nail telling me there "was a lot of gel behind my nail." I told her that it was not gel, it was my skin. She still kept trying to hack it off. I LOVE to cook. Open wounds on my fingers when I cook= no bueno. My nails looked okay. There was a lot of communication issues, so Kim had to come over. I usually like thicker tips for my french manicures, but she still made it super tiny. After 3 adjustments, I just gave up and settled. It has since been 2 weeks and my fingers are healed. BUT what normally lasts me 4-6 weeks from other salons (and for a cheaper price!) has already started peeling. -4 star for my tech and lack of service. +1 star for Kim read more

Yo girl Vi hooked a girl up ! Been here a few times & their is always excellent service from the warm welcoming to the mimosas ! Long story short, it took 2 hours for her to paint my nails BUT they came out perfect. Exactly what I wanted. The design n color I wanted was light weight complicated but she was patient & took her time. I tipped her $20 because she hella deserved it. Today I got a fill by Kim! Not gunna lie I have had a bad experience one time here but many good experiences certainly make up for it. They're so welcoming here at De Paris, they offer you mimosas, hot tea, or water.. Even candies! Today they had donuts which made me happy since I was so hungry when I got there. I had to leave like 10 minutes into my wait because of some baby sitting issues but Kim was totally accommodating! She waited for me like 30 minutes to come back! She did my nails so beautifully including a 3D design! Not only is the customer service extraordinary so is the quality of their work! Kim also has great conversation. One other thing I love about this place is how comfortable their pedicure chairs are and how they play modern family! I definitely recommend this place over any other place in the area. I love going here to get my nails done! Kim is the absolute best!! Yesterday I got my nails done for my wedding this weekend and she took extra care and time to make sure they were perfect!! She even offered to fix them up to the wedding day in case anything happened and I had any nail emergencies!! So sweet :).
