Great local spot, cozy pub, and good food. I stopped in this afternoon for a bite, a brew, and a little gaming. They have an interesting layout to try to accommodate all people, smokers, non-smokers, families, groups, and gamblers. A space for everyone! Staff were friendly and attentive. What a great place, I must have driven passed this place a hundred times going to Bass pro shop. The building is a bright modern restaurant with an Italian villa look to it. A large closed off bar in the center and a quieter dining room on the sides. We were looking for a place to eat in the early afternoon after discovering most of the places at the Silverton were still closed until 4p. This place has a great Italian beef sandwich hits all the notes perfectly on a nice crusty Italian bread hoagie. The menu was filled with classic Italian dishes, that you would find in most full-scale old school Italian restaurants, lasagna, bolognaise, eggplant parmesan, chicken Piccata to name a few. You crave a meatball sandwich??....this is the BEST in town. At least once a month I'll make the drive and take home. Great customer service pre pandemic and even now. I've had a few other pasta dishes and all tasty. Bar area is welcoming, a bit dark but fits the ambiance. Easy parking. Hidden gem! They have a whole side of the restaurant just for families. It was perfect! We didn't have to worry if the kids were going to be too loud or disturb other diners. The food was fresh hot and delicious. Our favorites that we ordered were the hot wings, Philly cheese steak sandwich and the Alfredo. The Philly cheese steak was served on fresh bread, the meat was so hot delish and flavorful. We are so excited to come back again! read more

We thought we would try somewhere new for breakfast. We made a BIG mistake when we went to Dean's Place. Maybe this review will save some potential customers from a terrible experience. I should have known better when there was no one eating in the dining room at 9:30am Memorial Day morning. Trying to look at the bright side I figured our food would come out quickly. I was wrong, it took quite a while because it takes time to burn your food. While waiting for our order another couple came in and sat down. When our food came out our waitress was only able to carry 2 plates, there were 3 in our party. She said she would be right back with the third plate. Instead she went to the other couple, I thought just to greet them but proceeded to take their order. Meanwhile my wife could not believe that she didn't go get here plate and commented "I've never seen anything like this before". I hollered at her and asked if my wife's breakfast was ready. The 3 of us all ordered the same thing so one order didn't take longer. She realized she was being stupid and went and got her now cold order. Over easy eggs one side burned badly the other side runny whites. How do you even do that? The bacon burnt so badly it stunk! The hash browns tasted like old cooking oil. The only thing that was ok was the toast. The food is over priced, $13.95 for 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast. The service was TERRIBLE, she also forgot my glass of milk. I left there feeling like I had been ripped off, still hungry and baffled that this place is in business. I would NEVER go back to this place and discourage anyone from trying it. read more

Holy moley. We brought a bigger group in, and we called a day ahead to let them know. The room was ready for us when we got there. There was a faint smell of cigarette smoke in the air, probably coming through the door to the bar area. Once good hit the table you couldn't smell it at all. We brought in 40 people. This would have boogered up most establishments, but Dean's took it in stride. We preordered appetizers and they hit the table shortly after we arrived. The hot wings had just the right about of flavor and heat, the BBQ wings were perfectly sweet! I really enjoyed the mozzarella bites. I will definitely get those the next time I'm there. We had a team of three running to keep up with our drink orders. They managed to keep us all hydrated. We knew the meals would all hit the table at the same time (the kitchen is good sized, but 40 meals at once would be asking for a miracle). The food was hitting the table not long after we ordered. Out of all the dishes there was only one mistake on a pizza topping and they had a new pizza out freaky fast. The only downside to the meals is that the servings are large-large! You'll probably be taking food home. The food was good, the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back! read more

Great find! Our food was delicious starting with the bruschetta was delicious. I had the pasta and clam sauce which was absolutely wonderful with incredible flavors. My husband had red pepper chicken sandwich with fries and thought it was great. Fros were cooked perfectly and the flavors in the sandwich were great. I was so amped for this place. To be brutally honest I felt like I was eating in a local tavern not a restaurant. The service was good the wine was fine and the drink prices was cheap. I had the chicken Marsala. I found it salty and fatty. The bread served was not garlic but plain buttered. My son had the spaghetti and meatballs. The sauce was good but the meatballs were dry. For dessert I had the tiramisu. It was very good moist and a great homemade dish. Service was very good but you could smell smoke from the tavern area. read more

After years of driving by this place , and never going in . I found a coupon in the mailer for $50 free play after you play $50. Signed up for a players card and presented the coupon . Was told I had to show it before signing up and I can't get the free play . I've never had a place do it like that before . So although the drinks and food were good , I will never go back . Heavy cigarette smell, great customer service. Food was fairly good the Philly Cheesesteak was delicious even leftovers were good. The Italian Wedding Soup needed some help, it screamed for enhancements and longer cook time to the meatballs as they were very mushy as undercooked. Kids Cheese Pizza was a hit with the littles, the Chicken Tenders were good too. The Chicken Fettuccine looked creamy they said it was good. We had our group luncheon yesterday at Dean's Place. There were 36 people in attendance and the service was excellent. You can always count on the food being good there and it's not over priced. There are two dining rooms and a huge room with a bar and gambling where you'll find Dawn who is the best bartender ever! If you have a large group and need a place to have a meal, I recommend this place. Of course, it's always a great place for a meal for smaller groups too. read more

Food is pretty good. Place is super dated. Whatever you do, don't complain about food because the server will look at you in disgust and you'll basically have to ask for something else because she won't care to offer a replacement. Got burnt food here in the past and the waitress was looked at us like we were trying to get free food when we just wanted something not burned. read more

All you can eat ribs on wednesday nights- do it! Everything was beyond good. Ive never had fries that were this good even after they got cold- are u kidding me? If the fries were that good they should never gotten cold right? Wow. This is a great place! Chelsea was our server, and she was excellent. We had the garlic balls, mushroom risotto, and steak special. Nothing was left on any of our plates, and the quality was just out of this world. Apparently Jose is the best with the risotto and he was behind the scenes tonight. Can be a 5 when the right folks are working. Quiet and for the most part friendly. Mainly good experiences but there have been few less than good experiences with newer help who can't or are confused by splitting checks or getting orders right especially when there is a larger group of 6-10. Nice place for casual meal. We were with a group so we were able to be in a side room. The day we went they were short handed in the kitchen. But this time it was okay; we all had to wait for our food. It was lunch so we had a beef dip sandwich and it was tender and good. The au jus was a little salty but didn't need to use it. Meh! For the first time yelp reviews didn't deliver. Well at least for me this time. Well the restaurant is old school. You seat yourself and there are bars. So my husband ordered the fettuccine Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce was watery and lacked flavor and some of the pasta was very "al dente" not very pleasant. I had the white pizza. Was looking for a place that serves real meals after 1am. Came across Dean's Place. Was skeptical but after looking at the reviews and calling the place, they really are open all night serving Italian food or breakfast if you like. But you need to be 21 since it's in the bar area. Call for hours for the actual restaurant. The food was fresh and hot. Everything is home made and delicious. We got the bruschetta, fresca, and one pasta and meatballs all for $33 with tax. Although we were the only diners present at 6:30 p.m. on a Sunday night, the food was clearly freshly made, and quite well prepared. Bacon-wrapped Shrimp dipped in Sweet Chili Sauce and triangles of Fried Mozzarella were nice starters, and Italian Wedding Soup with medium-sized rather than tiny meatballs was a suitable accompaniment. Caesar Salad was good but desired anchovies were not available. And garlic-supported Linguini & Clams was a fine finish, except I had to dodge two pieces of shell near the end.
