Deckers Moving Service helped me move my 87-year old mother and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. She had to down-size a considerable amount, and to be honest, I didn't do a very good job of figuring out what would and wouldn't fit. James and his son, Cameron, were incredibly kind and helpful when I realized some of the furniture they'd moved wouldn't fit. I also had them pack up her entire apartment and when we realized I didn't have the key to the china cabinet, James figured out a way to remove one of the glass doors. James returned my call immediately and was available to move me on a Sunday. He arrived on time the following day to give me a reasonable estimate along with some tips about moving. He and his son (and partner), Cameron, packed up my condo in about 3 hours a couple days prior to my move. Outstand Customer Service Deckers Moving Service deserves 10 stars Kudos to Deckers Moving Service: I cannot begin to tell you just how committed, reliable and dedicated James Deckers and his son, Cameron are. From the beginning phone call James was easy to speak with and always answered my calls and texts. His price was fair considering the service I required. We scheduled a two and a half day move with an overnight stay for James and his son. I rented two 26-foot U-Haul trucks and James agreed to load them and drive one to my new home, unload, and return one of the trucks to its original location. On Monday morning, James loaded the two trucks; we started our trip at 4AM on Tuesday morning. Half way to our destination, at around 10 AM, the engine water pump of the truck I was driving failed and we were forced to pull over on the 10 freeway. I called U-Haul to report a truck breakdown and could not believe the lack of customer support. I was on the phone for over 30 minutes before they agreed to send a tow truck, then it took a total of four hours to get us to the Blythe 24-hour towing service / U-Haul yard 30 miles away. Over the course of 7 more excruciating hours, on the phone with U-Haul and dozens of dropped calls in attempting to get the truck repaired or towed to my new location. What was supposed to be a routine 930 mile round trip move turned into a nightmare. Eventually at 7 PM U-Haul agreed to have the truck with my possessions towed to my new home the next day. The only saving grace was James Deckers: throughout the entire 24-hour ordeal he was calm, reassuring and dedicated to getting my possessions to the new location. Because of the breakdown, it added an additional day and a half of work. James never complained but was willing to do whatever it took to complete the job. I am so thankful for the extra time they spent on my move, I would recommend Deckers Moving Services to anyone who is fortunate enough to hire them. read more

Came to my house for an estimate and made me feel totally at ease about the move. I am so sad that I canceled and their schedules were packed for our final moving date.
