Got my hair done here about 3 months ago and my hair still looks good! Requested Sydnee for my highlights and cut (200$ plus tip) and I was more than happy with the result. The only thing I didn't feel very comfortable about was that when I was about to pay at the front desk, I was literally watched by 2 employees what tip I leave. I recently had a Brazilian Blowout applied by Chelsea followed by a haircut with Colton. In the past, I've done keratin treatments at another salon to straighten my hair but I was never happy with not being able to shampoo my hair for up to 72 hours after the treatment. Chelsea applied the Brazilian Blowout quickly and obviously knew what she was doing. In a half hour, I was switched over to Colton for a haircut. My natural hair color is almost black, and he's taken my hair through a lot of changes. He cuts, colors, and styles my hair on a regular basis and it's always BEAUTIFUL. Bobby, Drew, and Dedication Salon are the absolute best. From the very first time I had Bobby cut my hair, I could tell he is very, very skilled, but also always wants to make sure I'm happy with my cut. He's great at putting the customer first so that my hair turns out exactly like I'm imagining, but he does give great advice when I ask him for input, as well. I'm currently obsessed with my newest cut, a departure from having very long hair for a very long time. It's now shorter and so cute, and it's all because Bobby took his time making sure it was perfect. The salon itself is also really beautiful, accommodating, welcoming, and a nice place to hang out for an hour or so. They have excellent service all the way around. It's amazing to see this place come to life now that it's up and running. They already have a handful of super talented stylists there and are continuing to add more. Luis is great - so good that when he moved from a salon near my house to Dedication, which is at least 20 minutes away, I followed him. I often have a hard time finding a stylist who can cut my hair because it is very fine, but it was no sweat for Luis. It always looks great. I was dreading finding a new stylist when I moved to OC. Let me just say that Colton is amazing at what he does and if your looking for an ombré, balayage or something new you should definitely go to him. Sydnee is amazing! She goes above and beyond for my crazy requests! She has been patient with my thick curly hair and taking it from a dark brown to a beautiful red. She is always attentive to my needs when I am in her chair and always makes me feel like a million bucks. I just had my first visit at Dedication Salon, but I came here for Chelsea Husk! The staff is friendly and professional but still down to earth. A guest is greeted with treats and offered a drink. The salon just opened, so the walls feel a little bare, but local artist work is coming soon. As for Chelsea, she's the BEST! She is always very attentive, careful, and meticulous with her work. I found Jessica Gonzalez by default. My original stylist at Dedication Salon moved away and I was turned over to Jessica. I cannot believe my luck to fall into the skilled, professional, talented hands of Jessica Gonzalez. It's been almost 3 years and I am beyond grateful and thrilled every time I leave from my appointment. Jessica is charming and delightful -she will try to accommodate your request, but she is the pro and will not let you do a style that is not right for your hair (everyone's hair is different). I have seen her amazing skills on so many that leave her chair. She nails my blond color each and every time (and her brunette colors are beautiful). And, my 'layered' cuts fall just right. It's unfortunate & unfair that someone would leave a negative comment about prices being raised $5- 10 dollars -that's not much compared to most businesses and just shows their insensitiveness to a professional trying to support herself in this world of the inflating cost of living. The prices are always the same & yes, the prices went up this year. Appears Ms. Daniella is not a very realistic or nice person. I feel like I hit the jackpot when I found this salon and even more so when I got Tiffany as my stylist. After my previous stylist moved away, I knew I had to find a replacement fast. Unfortunately, "ASAP" in my world meant 6ish months, so needless to say, my hair was a bit of a disaster by the time I went to Tiffany. I first came to her with a faded out blonde ombre that was very brassy and just... not a great look. My bangs were also overgrown, my ends were a wreck, etc. It was a MESS. I showed Tiffany a few pictures from Pinterest with some ideas about bayalage, but otherwise, I didn't really have an idea of what I wanted to do with my crazy hair. She suggested instead of going darker (because I had resigned myself to always being an orange-y blonde), why not try going even more blonde? I figured why not and so with that she introduced me to crazy things like "root shadows" and "microweaves." Now I have the exact shade of blonde I've always wanted and she's done all of it without ruining my hair. On top of being a hair magician, she's also just a really fun person to talk with. Obviously it takes a few hours to do all the work she does and I always have a great time chatting with her and the other stylists in the salon. Emma is an absolute gem at Dedication Salon. First and foremost, she is unbelievably talented. She listens to what you want but is honest about how to efficiently achieve your hair goals. Besides her talent, she is kind, sweet, and she's your friend. Within the first 10 minutes of sitting in her chair, we were laughing and talking like we'd known each other for a lifetime. Emma gave me some highlights and colored my roots. My hair is kind of a pain and dried ever so slightly. Not a fault of hers at all, my hair was already pretty dry and damaged before coming to her. I followed her from European wax (way back when) to Pretty Peach when she used to be a waxist. Now that's she's switched over to hairstyling, I've still been a fan. I love this salon soooo much, the atmosphere, the people, the ambience is everything I could want from a hair salon. I have been coming here since they opened and they have exceeded all my expectations in a short amount of time. Personally I will see Chelsee who is wonderful and is basically a hair wizard. I had my first balayage with pink dye this past weekend and it looks even better than my 'wish' pic. The perfect fun and playful but still work appropriate as I do work in an office. I'm looking forward to feelin a mermaid for summer!! She has amazing attention to detail and the consistent results is what keeps me coming back. Mind you I have extremely thick and curly south Asian hair and it's rare I find somehow who can manage it so I am entirely grateful I found Chelsee!
