This location says they close at 10:00 pm. We arrived at 9:30 pm. The doors were locked but there was people dining inside. A guy claiming to be a mgr came to the door and said the dine in was closed. We said it says you close it at 10:00 pm. He said oh well it's now closed. We asked for a mgr and that's when he claimed he was mgr. horrible attitude. He was rude. Sad to know how many other times he's rude with customers and they don't complain. I don't usually leave reviews, but because of my experience at this particular Del Taco drive thru, I feel the need to let others know if you receive a negative attitude by employees/management there, it is not you, it is them I placed an order during breakfast hours though the drive thru. I show who I believe was the manager at this location my rewards QR code. There was an item ready to redeem as rewards attached to the QR, but he did not want to honor it, He said since I did not order it at the drive thru I was too late. I asked if there was a chance that I can wait for it in the parking lot or come in for it, he just kept telling me no it's too late. There was a rudeness to his replies, as if I was annoying him by even asking. There was one car behind me in line, so I understand that I would have to wait in the parking lot because of my error in how to redeem this item, but the rudeness of how I was treated was startling. No frills, no tricks, nothing special about this location in this regard, good or bad. I guess that in itself is a good thing though. Bad for the environment, bad for your and animal's health, but perhaps slightly good for the soul, occasionally. Service - I have been at least 20 times in the last 3 years and have yet to have an exceptionally poor experience, or anything that sticks out in my mind, again, good or bad. Parking - It's there, I've never seen the lot full. Other - They are getting docked 1 star because they do not have the 30 oz. iced tea for $1, very upsetting. Reading the other reviews, I noticed some people think Del Taco is expensive for fast food. I agree, if you're not using the app. I visit this location regularly, especially with all the new deals on the Del Taco app. Husband and I used the BOGO free platos offer during our last visit. Total came out to $8.50 for the both of us. This is about 2 to 3 times more than what we normally spend at Del Taco, but figured it was worth trying the carne asada wet burrito platos since we would never order it at full price. My favorite parts were the rice and chips. Fresh avocado was a nice touch. Burrito seemed to only have meat and beans inside. If we had paid double (regular price), this would've been kinda disappointing. But since we didn't, I think it was a fair value. The dining area is always clean and cold. In general I try to avoid restrooms at fast food places, but I had walked into this one right after it had been mopped. This is a 3.5 star review. Yelp still doesn't allow for half stars. Taco Bell or Del Taco, that is a no brainer it's Del Taco all the way. Del Taco always comes correct with the Chicken Tacos or with their Del Burger. The Fries (when well done and fresh) are some of the best fries out there. Their breakfast is above average and their prices are fair. If you don't like Del Taco we can no longer be friends! The service here is always good and the drive thru is open 24 hours.
