I am a frequent customer of this Del Taco, but I am writing this in the hope that management will address a recurring issue. While I generally enjoy this location, my last several orders have been extremely disappointing specifically regarding how the signature Del Tacos are prepared. Unlike other locations I have visited, the Del Tacos here are consistently under-filled. They arrive with very little meat, minimal cheese, sparse lettuce, and barely any tomatoes. It feels as though they are only half-full every time. I have brought this concern up multiple times in the past, yet the quality remains poor. I know the kitchen is capable of preparing other menu items well, so it is frustrating to see such a lack of consistency and care with this specific item. Please ensure the kitchen staff receives proper training on portioning and preparation standards so that the food is made correctly. read more

This is the second time. If you look at my previous rating, it's the same thing. I arrived at the drive-thru at 10:23PM and they told me they were closed. I think the night/dinner crew needs more training in how to correctly make food. We went between 6:30 and 7PM. I think they cooked up a lot of food and left them under a heat lamp for too long. I've visited Del Taco during the day for lunch and the food was cooked properly. We ordered Fish Tacos, and crunchy meat tacos. Awful!. The Fish tacos were over fried so there was no more fish in it. They were cold and difficult to bite into. The simple taco was cold and all the meat was on one side of the shell. Very greasy. Needless to say the food did not sit in our stomachs very well. Just went into this Del Taco for the first time in a long time. No one to take my order, it's now all done electronically. Put my order in and then press button for senior discount code. You have to get an employee to enter it. By the time an employee (only2 visible) could come my order was lost. Not a pleasant experience! read more

If I could give zero stars I would , the food was horrible, it was cold and just thrown together and they weren't even that busy , the staff there was just lazy. God forbid the pasty pale Adam's family member looking like girl has to do anything there , she threw my bag on the counter and never said anything to indicate wether it was mine or not . And when my friend was there he told me the pasty one gave him attitude for asking her to refill his soda cause the machine upfront was out like usual. Del Taco has always been a god stop to eat. But when you finally realize. The manager on staff, the guy at the to-go window and all the staff are not wearing any hair nets. We normally go to the Del Taco on First Street. A few times when we've been on the east side of town, we've stopped at this location. It feels like the poor step-child for some reason. The food isn't as good, the service isn't either. We asked a question about their breakfast rollers, and the order taker didn't understand the nature of the question. It didn't seem that complicated, but the menu made it seem like you'd get one thing, but the actual product was something else. Not completely the crew member's fault, but I'd suspect they'd hear this question enough to give a better answer. I used to love ordering their Double Del Cheeseburger, but now I have to avoid cheese. The hamburger without it's yellow companion isn't the same. As a result, I've tried some of the other menu items. Haven't found a new favorite yet. Their crinkle cut fries are delicious if served hot. That's been hit or miss at this location, too. Well maybe something new can be good. Case in point a new dish they refer to as Biria Ramen and after two tries I guess I'm a fan. Shredded roast beef, noodles, cilantro, lime and consome make this pretty decent overall. Service at the drive thru is always pretty good here. Can't speak as to going inside to partake of any ambiance as I've not been in since before the plague came a knocking. Hey its Del Taco, what else can I say? What is there to say. It's a new Del Taco and it's right next to my house. Because it's a fresh and new location I appreciate how clean they have kept this place...so far. I like the drive-thru here because there is no confusion on where to enter (unlike the Sycamore location). It's tough to give any Del Taco more than 3 stars but overall I'd rate this particular location a 3.5 stars out of 5. I do love me some del taco. I go through phases of what I order but am a creature of habit. Back in my hefty days I was all about those bacon double dells (arguably one of the best fast food burgers, don't knock it), their nachos and recently the queso beef crunchtadas. This easily filled the void Taco Bell's Mexican pizza left. That was solely the only item I ordered there and now is a staple I order when I go to del taco. Been to this Del Taco plenty of times and have never had a missing or incorrectly made item. I'm glad to have a great Del Taco nearby that is always open. Where to begin? Found this out after driving home. Ordered two cheese quesadillas. Got two chicken quesadillas. Ordered a bean and cheese burrito with red sauce. Got a bean burrito with no cheese and no red sauce. Ordered 3 Del Taco tacos. They tasted stale and the meat was dry and overcooked. Plus, the shells were broken and falling apart. Tried to save the meal with a bottle of Taco Bell hot sauce and some sour cream from our refrigerator. Helped, but not enough. If I could give negative stars...... 5 TRIPS IN A ROW I have been missing items AND in 2 of those cases, also had incorrect items in my order. I have to get out of the car if I'm still there and go inside which always turns into an ordeal. This last time I was actually ignored after telling them I was missing an item and had one incorrect item as well, 4 workers stared at me blankly and I thought I'd walked in wearing only my underwear. I heard 2 other customers complaining in line about the customer service and the wait. Finally when I was acknowledged they tried to give me fries and send me out but I asked them, what I can do to make this stop happening, 5 times in 6 months? they told me to bring my food in for a refund, i thought they were comping my meal....NOPE. So you're telling me you screwed my order up, inconvenienced me, ignored me in person and apparently other customers inside too and your solution is to take my food from me completely? Get a grip. First, let me say that my son and I enjoy Del Taco. At eat at other locations every week. This specific location is awful. DIRTY The employees don't seem to have any idea what to do. The burritos aren't folded correctly. The wrappers were barely applied. We literally got home to find sauce packets covered in ground beef and all the other fillings. Because they don't know how to wrap the items. If you like Del Taco try the one off First Street (actual address is on Enchanted way). Just north of the 118 freeway. This place is great at LUNCH ONLY!!! Go here after lunch and you get royally screwed! Portions are ridiculously small and sometimes my burritos were half frickin tortilla with no filling. WTF!!! Is going on with their late shift manager and staff? Stingy isn't the right word to use to describe them...criminal is better! Well note to store manager my lawyer and I have gotten in touch with the corporate office and have spoke to them about this location. We are giving them until middle of January to contact us back. After that we will sue Del Taco for misleading their customers about the portion size of their products. So I hope you read this and do something about the situation there. The only Del Taco I have ever seen THAT SELLS BEER! This is where you go when you are trying to feed the stomach that had been devouring beers earlier that night, now you can get MORE beer here.
