    Grilled duck breast

This is by far my favorite restaurant on the island. I always thought their food was the best around and then we went there to celebrate Valentines Day and I found that they actually improved hard as that is to believe. First I have to give a shout out to our waiter Devon. He managed to list all the specials slow enough that I was able to keep track and remember them. Usually I give up about half way through. Anyway, his service was also excellent. I ordered the duck which I have had there before and oh my goodness it was even better. The outside skin was grilled perfectly and had a nice bite to it. My husband had the pork steak schnitzel. He shared one little piece with me and it literally melted in your mouth. I told him next time I was getting it - it was that good. So big decision next time I go back as I loved loved loved the duck. We typically don't order dessert but hey it was Valentine's Day. My husband ordered the key lime pie which was monumental as he is super picky and never ever has anything good to say when he does get it. That changed- he declared it was real key lime pie and would order it again. My chocolate Guinness cake was also excellent. So as you can tell, I definitely recommend this place and the fact that they just keep getting better is phenomenal!

    Fried green tomatoes special appetizer

This was our first night's dinner on arrival in St Simons. The upscale restaurant had been recommended from an online Facebook group. Otherwise, I would not have known about it as the restaurant doesn't appear in most of the usual tourist publications. We had a very good dinner experience. We started by sharing one of their daily specials -- a fried green tomato appetizer with two tomato slices topped with cheese and shrimp. And a unique salad dressing. It was quite tasty. For my main entree, I selected their duck. The sauce for it changes daily. The chili one for the evening didn't appeal and the chef was nice enough to prepare a gran marnier version. The super sized portion of sliced duck breast meat was cooked to my preference. It was delicious and served with baby thin asparagus spears and curried rice. My husband had their fois gras appetizer as his entree. It was buttery soft and served with a unique sour grape sauce. As he was not that hungry, he said it was the perfect size. Service was professional. The chef is creative with many off menu items. It was a nice location for a celebration or special occasion.

Was visiting from Montana and ended up at Delaney's for dinner. Our server was Kevin (aka KK) and he was absolutely phenomenal. Made our dining experience the best we had all week. When back in the area, I will definitely be back to try something else as the menu had so many amazing meals.

First night on the island and a great start with dinner here. Friendly staff and our server Matthew was very knowledgeable and well versed on the many specials and appetizers available. Matthew even was quick to note my wife's preference of sauces to go with her Duck (off the bone) and asked the Chef to prepare a Grand Marnier reduction to substitute for the sweet chili sauce featured. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes that came with two huge Georgia Shrimp atop the two slices of perfectly fried Green Tomatoes with a light remoulade sauce. I chose the Foie Gras in a sour grape sauce which was marvelous! Soft and buttery foie gras that just melted in your mouth. I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand) to go with my meal that was very good. There were many desserts to choose from like Key Lime Pie with White Chocolate topping, Coconut Cream Pie, Chocolate cake with a chocolate mousse topping. We were too full this time around, but perhaps next time...

Beautiful restaurant with clean decor, dishes and bathrooms. I went here with 3 coworkers on a Saturday night. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. This restaurant is small and it was jam-packed with people making it loud. It's worth noting is that the median age of the average customer this particular evening was about 62 and the median income was somewhere between 80k-100k. I even made a joke about my friend being the only Mexican guy to have entered through their doors in the past 5 years. Oops We had to ask specifically for the wine and cocktail lists which seemed a bit tacky of the waiter not bring them immediately. Additionally, the waiter had to recite about 20 different specials for the evening between the appetizers and entrees; I thought it was playful of the chefs to have so many specials; but also annoying to have to listen to 20 different menu options. The wine was great and we ordered the goat cheese appetizer to start. We all ordered various types of filets. The steaks came out perfect!! Cooked to each our specifications and delicious. For dessert we shared the lemon cake, key lime tart and creme brûlée. I would've given 5 stars but I felt some judgment from the workers and other customers about our group of late 20-somethings.

This is an elegant Tea Room styled restaurant where we just had the most delightful lunch ever. We were told that the scallops would be the best we would ever eat in our lives. And they were not exaggerating. Dessert was blueberry white chocolate cheesecake for my wife, and I had peach pie a la mode. Absolutely wonderful!

Ate several meals at this sit down restaurant located at the Sea Palm resort during a recent visit…read more Upon checking in, my wife and I went to the bar for a beer and a margarita with some beer cheese bites. The margarita was from a slushee machine and the bartender gave it to us for free bc it was too thin - my wife did not complain about it. I opted for a Micehlob Ultra and a Centralia (local on tap). The bartender recommended the beer cheese pretzel bites and they were amazing, I could have ate the cheese with a spoon it was so good. We also had Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch at the sit down restaurant in the clubhouse check-in area. Those are the only days they serve breakfast. Most tables seat 2 or 4 persons but can moved to accommodate larger parties. There is also inside or outside seating. For Saturday breakfast, I had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fresh fruit and Gouda cheese grits. The grits were the star of the show. They are amazing. Coffee is self serve, if you want a ceramic coffee cup, you need to ask a server bc they are paper cups otherwise. Brunch was a bit more pricy than Saturday breakfast ($30 per person and $3.50 per beverage) but it was well stocked with an omelet station, waffle bar, the amazing grits with toppings, sausage and gravy and breakfast meats. They also offered fried catfish and chicken, collared greens, zucchini casserole, a salad bar, charcuterie and desserts. It was a large, filling meal. Faves were fried chicken and the grits. I think they make their dressing in house (they had balsamic and ranch). Good option for on property dining, especially when you can use your Hilton resort credit.

We came for Happy Hour, my favorite hour! lol Love a place…read morethat does food and drink specials and Chophouse fits that, it's beautiful walking in, dark and feels like a steakhouse. We opted to go up to the rooftop for HH, so pretty up there, we got there early and by the time we were leaving it was full, so go early to get a table. The drinks were very good, but the food was just ok. My biggest complaint was all of it came out lukewarm, not even close to hot, like the food had been sitting there awhile before it made it to us, cool meatballs were not good, like mushy consistency. The burgers were tasty, surprisingly the salmon was my favorite of the 3 dishes we got! But left thinking everything would have tasted better if actually served hot and fresh. I have come before for regular dinner and thought the food was good, so maybe this was a weird off for just starting their shift?

Overall wonderful dining experience…read more They accommodated a group of 10 for a work related dinner. We ordered every appetizer on the menu but my favorite was the shrimp and calamari. Ordered a creamy espresso martini with Baileys. Main entre was the special New York strip and risotto with mushrooms. For dessert ordered the bourbon bread pudding which was absolutely amazing. The plaza was beautiful and the restaurant had dim lighting and very beautiful decor. You can tell it's a very new location! Our server was so nice and very attentive to our needs. Highly recommend for a phenomenal dining experience!

I was able to make a reservation through Yelp, and although our reservation was pretty late at 8 PM, we walked in and luckily grabbed seats at the bar instead. That ended up being the best part of the night. Both bartenders were absolutely amazing. One was incredibly knowledgeable about wine, while the other knew everything about spirits, so we ended up getting a mini education on all kinds of drinks and even did a little tasting. It made the whole experience so much fun and interactive. We eventually settled on a bottle of red wine and shared a filet mignon. I highly recommend ordering the potatoes because whoever prepares them is seriously talented. They were thinly sliced and stacked into this beautiful cake-like structure that completely melted in your mouth. Between chatting with the bartenders and the people sitting next to us, we ended up staying much longer than planned simply because we were enjoying ourselves so much. I honestly don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. It's more than just dinner -- it's an experience, and I highly recommend checking it out.
