I was on my way back to Sacramento when I stumbled upon this place. I was starving and was about to go to In-n-out but decided to get a sandwich instead. When I walked up to the register the menu was clearly explained to me and I decided to order a build your own sandwich with roast beef, Turkey, and Salami w/everything. It was amazing!!! I ordered a medium and could not finish it with the beer batter fries I ordered. They were crunchy and hot and one of the best French fries I have eaten. The ranch was outstanding as well. The phrase "You Get What You Pay For" most certainly applies here; yes they cost more than Subway but I guarantee you that once you've had Deli D you'll NEVER go back to Subway!! Alright, welp if I had the chance to give negative stars I would. I continue to have issues with my order, which in my opinion has been extremely simple. First time I was given the incorrect bread; second Time I specified no pepper and just add wax peppers but to my surprise I drove to work to discover a sandwich that was submerged in pepper. I attempted to call and leave feedback but have yet to be contacted (this was 2 weeks ago). Today as a last resort I decided to give this place another shot. I phoned in an order and arrived six minutes later. When I arrived my order was not ready yet but I paid and as I reviewed my receipt I once again saw them select pepper instead of wax peppers. I let the cashier know about the error and she stated she would take care of it. The clocked ticked on and I found myself sitting there for 30 minutes until finally my order was ready. I typically don't check my orders since I was to trust that the establishment will ensure it is correct but something made me decide to check it. Yup! Full of pepper, no wax peppers. I sat back down to wait for my sandwich to be remade. 10 minutes later I was on my way. Tip 1- never schedule only two employees to work without additional support especially during a lunch rush. Tip 2- train employees to review order with customer Tip3- when an order is incorrect fix it asap so the customer can get going rather than making them wait until other orders are done to fix the issue. I will never come here again. Cost me not only my time but money since I clocked back into work late. So moral of the story, if you want to call in an order and have it not be ready, incorrect and return to work late without an opportunity to eat, then come here. If you want a speedy process I'd suggest you stick with Quiznos or Subway-heck the Olive Garden next door would have a full course ready with those 40 minutes. read more

I was randomly going through this town called Turlock...I was hongry and wanted something quick. A quick yelp searched came up with Deli Delicious and it had better reviews than the average establishments around where I was so I made a quick stop. It was fairly empty when I went so I was greeted right away. I down looked at the variety of sandwiches on the sheet at the counter but I was being indecisive so I asked the guy up front what he recommended. I think his name was Russel? He advised that I try the #21 which came with cream cheese, sprouts, turkey, and avocado. It had a very fresh and creamy taste, not overly filling and no gross heavy/greasy feeling. LOVE THIS PLACE! Nice sandwich shop. Great atmosphere. My boyfriend and I came here for lunch on a whim. We greated upon arrival and the menus was explained to us. Try the chicken chipotle works. It was awesome. 4inch 4.50 6inch 7$z. Not too cheap , I paid 9.75 including a bottle of water. So almost 10$ . But I loved it and service was good so I'll take it. There was a young Asian guy which seemed to be the owner or the manager , I wanna say owner , he was cleaning lobby as I got up to leave he offered to take my tray for me to clean up table. U don't see this kinda of service that often. I'll be going back here for a while until I get tired of it lol . Also it would be good if u offered some sort of punch card or rewards system so we can get a free sandwich . It will give me a stronger reason to keep coming and not going to others. Just a thought. Literally the most horrible experience of my life. I will never go there again. My advice to others is to not go there if you're not ready for horrible customer service. When I walked into girl immediately looked at me and said "I'm mopping so be careful" literally had no yellow sign there saying we could slip, when I started ordering my sandwich and my friends the cashier was LITERALLY screaming out my order which was so weird and the other employee in the back was so nervous she kept dropping everything as the other kept screaming at her my order. And then I asked for chipotle sauce because I had ordered it already but was not in my sandwich and they gave me a little cup and charged me for it even though my receipt said they had already charged me for the chipotle sauce in my sandwich and that isn't the worst part I stood there on the side to make sure they added the chipotle sauce and the girl wasn't even wearing gloves when she touch my sandwich to add the chipotle sauce and that is cross contamination and it's illegal the girl did not look clean either. and I asked for water cups and the girl threw them at me. I asked to speak to the manager and the one who took my order was the manager she had tattoos on both of her hands and was short, she came out and screamed "I'm the manager" and when I asked her to solve the chipotle sauce problem she said "that's how we normally do it" like does corporation know you do it like that?? Wait time is horrible. If you're coming here on a work lunch call in advance. Two people were in front of me ordering. Each one ordering one sandwich each. A 30 minute wait for a sandwich is unacceptable. The girl handed me the bag and didn't thank me, apologize for the wait, tell me to goto hell, or say anything. She just walked off like I was wasting her time. After I got back to work I checked and realized they made the wrong one. Now I've got plenty of time to write this review because I don't plan on eating someone's rabbit food only sandwich. I don't plan on coming back.
