We have been here twice before, service and food was good, the owner was at the location when we were here before. Sandwiches were really big and hot...not so this trip.. we could barely understand the cashier. She spoke so fast, and never did smile! My work loves this place I don't understand why. Every time we go something is wrong maybe the can handle small orders but we our business goes we ordered for about ten people who all want something different. For instance today I wanted the grilled chicken salad avocado, tomatoes, and cucumbers on the side. Good thing I'm not allergic because the avocado and cucumbers were on it, and there were no tomatoes. The "grilled chicken" was lunch meat if that's the case then it is miss represented in the menu. So first of all the sandwiches here are amazing! Their steak sandwich is my favorite and my husbands! The only downfall is every time we order it with extra meat and extra cheese they mess it up. This has happen to us four times and we call in every time. We pay almost $40 for the both of us to eat so we would love to pay for extra meat and cheese and actually get the extra meat and cheese. Not to mention about four or five times we had ordered bbq and ranch and not received any. I thought it was just door dash but I went in a few times and they forgot as well and I had to remind them. "Meh". That was our reaction. If it had tasted exceptional or been somewhat unique, I could get over the fact that it is very overpriced (like more than Quizno's overpriced). But the sandwiches were just OK and that's it. Don't get me wrong, it's not Subway plastic ham. The meat and veggies seemed to be decent quality. The bread is pretty clearly from the same place as Mr. Pickles, except smaller portions for several dollars more than Pickles. The 8.00 "medium" sandwich here is the same size as a Togo's 6". The "mini" at 5.50 (just the sandwich) was smaller than the usual kids portions we get at other shops here. Add 2.50 more for chips and drink. Oh well. The fries are like steak fries with a super delish seasoned coating. We forgot to say no lettuce because we love sprouts on our sandwiches. Our sandwiches were good but, not WOW! like we usually get in San Jose. I might come back again if I was in this area again, maybe. (we live in Los Banos, Ca). Maybe it would of been better if we remembered to say no lettuce and more mayo or sauce. Both our sandwiches came with avocado, but both our sandwiches came with one small slice of avocado-LAME!. Went in last Thursday it was around 3-4? Didn't know if it was open because there open sign wasn't on but I went in anyway. There were two other customers already in there eating but I was trying to find a clean table to sit at and all of them were dirty so I cleaned it with a napkin because I figured they were busy or something. The table behind us had a stack of baskets that the sandwich come in and no one bothered to clean it the whole time we were there. Food is good I guess kind of pricey but I would not recommend the soups. Super yummy! I thought the food was really good. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while! And the fries were great! Most of the employees were very nice and friendly and the owners (at least I think they were the owners lol) were so friendly, started conversation with us and thanked us for coming in. It was a very nice gesture :) I will say the only negative was one employee. I didn't catch her name but she has blonde straight hair. She was very rude. My girlfriend and I are pretty self sufficient when it comes to getting things ourselves but when we do ask for help we are always thankful and polite. With this girl we were given dirty looks like we were bothering her, mhm's in a rude tone instead of you're welcome and at one point she even just walked away from us? I placed an order online for several sandwiches which cost me $60. In the order I requested extra ranch. When I went to pick up my sandwiches, I got in the express pick-up line however I was RUDELY told that that line is only for Doordash. I then had to wait in the "other" line to pick up my order. After I paid I double checked to make sure I had ranch, they then tell me no, because I have to pay for it. I was surprised and frustrated that they couldn't give me $.15 ranch for the $60 order I just paid for. I have been to several other Deli Delicious locations and never been charged. This location is not nearly as clean and they will not see my business again. read more
