The restaurant itself was pretty spacious with multiple tables that hold multiple parties. We were seated right away and ordered quickly. The only complaint my family and I had was service. We had to ask multiple times for straws, utensils, and water. My family and another table were the only customers at the time, yet we still had to flag them down. I felt as though I was inconveniencing the waiter, as they were eating their own meal beside us. When I asked for an update on my Milk Tea (we already had our full order on the table with other Thai Tea drinks), the waiter was short with me and said it was coming. Other than that, the food was good. The Pho and Spring rolls were decent and the boba balls we're soft. If you want a quick Pho meal, this is the place. Large size was huge, larger than my hand size (see photo) Asked to have been sprouts cooked as raw bean sprouts don't cook fast enough in pho broth. Broth could have been more flavorful, no hint of cinnamon in the broth base. Pho did get served very hot which his how I like my pho, especially on a cold day. Noodles cooked ok, plenty of protein given. No fish sauce condiment on tables which I thought was strange, asked for fish sauce, the server never came back, finally did return towards the end of my meal, not good service. I stopped in for an evening bite for beef pho and chicken on vermicelli. The menu was easy to follow and easy to order. The beef pho had a good portion of meat, I ordered the large it was served with mung bean sprouts, two slices of jalapeño, lime wedge and no basil. The chicken on vermicelli was a good portion but I found the noodles really greasy- I think they post washed it in cold water then oiled it down. I think if I ever decided to return- might request to make it less oily. The service was quite fast, there are about 3 people working they sort of slowly work through what their doing then eventually serve you. Credit card accepted here. read more

We came on a drizzly day, and I wanted to buy a hot bowl of soup. I order the vegetarian phõ as well as the vegetarian bánh mì. I have had many vegetarian phõ. They usually lack flavor. Not this place. It was full of flavor and an exceptionally large bowl for it being their small size. It can definitely be shared between two people. The roll is soft inside and out unlike Hawaii which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The roll was not crispy like Hawaii but soft all around including inside. The first time I had had Pho I didn't really like it and since then I had an aversion to try out Pho again. On my way I crossed Delicious Pho and right at that time I was thinking about what to have for dinner. I doubled back and decided to give it a try. I was asked to sit wherever I wanted to. The ambience is simple and the staff was friendly. After some deliberation and discussion with the server, I went with the small size of hot and sour noodle soup. It looked so good when it arrived! Plentiful of seafood and veggies. I took the first sip and it was delicious! Bursting with flavor and the perfect balance of hot and sour. Completely changed my opinion on Pho. We ordered #2 Steak and Brisket (large) and #22 Spicy Hue noodle (large). Portion was big. I didn't like the oiliness of the soup. We had to skim some oil while eating our food. Our noodles had plentiful of meat inside. That was good; however, some meat slices were too fatty. Soup wasn't too salty it was on the sweeter side. Utensils looked sanitary as it came wrapped in a package. Food was good, but not the best. My lips felt soft from the oily soup. No lip balm necessary. Cheap and cheerful! This is my local go to. I love this place and can't believe I haven't written a review yet for my go to vietnamese restaurant. Quality of what you pay for it legit. Also the food comes out pretty quick. I've gone often towards the closing hours and they are always looking to cater which I love and respect. I've walked by this restaurant a number of times while visiting Vancouver and finally had a chance to pop in and give it a try. I ordered the vegetarian spring roll, vegetarian salad roll and the small vegetarian pho. I can safely say that the vegetarian spring rolls are the best I've ever had from a Vietnamese restaurant. The spring rolls had a great filling to wrapper ratio and provided the perfect crispy, crunch spring rolls are known for. The vegetarian salad roll had fried tofu in addition to cabbage, cucumber and bean sprouts. Both appetizers were delicious and fresh. The vegetarian pho is hands down the best pho I've ever had. The vegetable broth was delicious and full of flavour. It was a huge serving for a small. A ton of vegetables and the crispy tofu was appreciated. However our orders of Vietnamese coffee were forgotten and our last friend's meal was forgotten. When we got our food .. we ordered pho w/ steak & brisket and pho w/ steak and tendon and a spring roll. Now, I've been to a lot of pho places, and I've never just been served ONE piece of spring roll cut in half... but BEWARE that when you order a spring roll, you are literally getting ONE tiny spring roll cut in half.. it's..the craziest thing I've ever seen that I laughed out loud when it came out. As for their pho, it was decent enough. Altho, when the tendon came out.. it had like 3 pieces in there.. they're def not generous on the meat. Definitely wasn't the best experience at this place. Came in here on a Friday night around 6pm, and it wasn't too busy. I got the chicken pho, and it arrived quickly. The chicken was so flavourful! Both the flavour and the quantity of chicken surprised me. You get many pieces of dark and white meat in a large bowl (large bowl is only $1 more than regular bowl). The noodles had good texture, and the broth was simple (not sweet). I added a bunch of hot sauce in my broth, and it was awesomely spicy. I was able to eat the entire bowl of noddles. My friend ordered the pork chops, and he said it was good as well. The eggs were fried perfectly with runny yolks. Overall, good quality and good portion size. The two of us decided to get vermicelli bowls. Grayson got his with grilled chicken and I got one with grilled chicken and shrimp. We also decided to get a salad roll because unlike the pho, the vermicelli bowls only had one size so we weren't sure if there would be enough food to eat. In my opinion, you get more noodles if you order the pho, but you also get more fresh veggies if you get the vermicelli bowl so I guess it evens out that way. The reason why I get vermicelli bowls is because I'm obsessed with fish sauce. Unfortunately, the one here was much too sweet and didn't have any acidity to it at all. With that being said, there was a good amount of protein in both of our bowls. The chicken thigh had just enough char on the edges and it was marinaded so it was flavorful. I'm pretty sure the shrimp was cooked by being dropped in the fryer so that was disappointing but they were golden brown at least. read more

A few minutes later I was asked to move, to sit in an area where pickup and to go orders are taken. This was a bit odd and sort of rude. This place always seems to be pretty busy especially at lunch time. Located near the end of Robson St. close to Yaletown kind of makes sense in this case. The staff is super friendly and quite attentive, even in the hustle and bustle of lunch rush. The food is pretty good, always tastes fresh and the portions are just right for the price you pay. I really love how they give a bottle of fish sauce for the table for that extra kick of salt or for dipping and the fact that they serve pickled daikon and carrots in their salad - just a personal preference. Several times my spouse and I went and it was always packed. So this time around we decided to be there when they open up, which is 11:00. We went in, sat down, and the server saw us but did not acknowledge us. We took a look at the menu that was on the table and already knew what we wanted to order. We waited for the server, but she did not come, so I stood up and said we are ready to order. She looked at me and said we start at 11:00, it was 2 minutes before 11:00. Okay, fine, we'll wait. She then comes with water for us, but no tea, we placed our order. Ten minutes later, she brought out my large steak and brisket pho, she places it down and right away I saw a hair half way in the broth and half way curled up on the inside of the bowl. I stopped her and said there's a hair, she took a look and said I'll get you another pho. She took the pho and placed it on another table, thank God she didn't bring it back to the kitchen, who knows they may have taken the hair out and reserved me with it. Anyhow, she brought out another order for me, and my spouse had the same order as mine, except he barely had any steak or brisket in his order, whereas mine was chocked full of meat and broken up noodles. So, the broth was bland, there was no star anise flavour like most broths should have. The noodles were all broken up in pieces, usually should be long strands of noodles. The only thing that was good was the fried rolls, but they were small, one roll was cut into 2 pieces, one piece was the length of your thumb. All in all, I would not recommend this place, there are better places for pho, we thought it must be good because every time we tried to get in, it was always packed, that's why we decided to be there opening time and to beat the crowds. I've had better elsewhere. Also, our server wasn't friendly, it seemed like she didn't enjoy her job.
